im not here to discus the ethics and morals around ai images/art. i find playing around with it fun to come up with weird ideas and don’t consider myself creating art (although i will use the tag(s) for exposure). i don’t profit off this.

Edit December 2024 - I’ve mostly been letting this blog run on queue and not generated many new AI images, so a lot are definitely from older versions of midjourney etc. I’ll maybe update the queue at some point. Thanks

Edit 2026 - I’m going through this blog and deleting posts with no reblogs. My stance on gen ai had changed due to the influx of slop and wider the impact of AI on our lives. Eventually I’ll turn it into a blog full of oc content. Thanks

I’ve decided I won’t post the old ai I still have and in 2026, I will start to curate this blog to be mostly altered / edited original images (plus very old nostalgic pics I have from the 00s and 10s) because whilst I did enjoy generating weird / aesthetic images and stuff, ai slop is now inescapable and I don’t want to put more into the void

I am going to post the rest of my back catalogue of AI over the next few months and then just post reality / altered reality images thereafter

I thought this was okay for the longest because I wasn’t profiting and I liked making liminal / uncanny / aesthetic images

but there is too much AI slop these days and it’s not at all interesting anymore (for me)
