GENERAL ROLEPLAY RULES

Hello! Thank you for your interest in writing with me. Please be sure to read these rules before interacting with this blog.

 This blog is mutuals only ( for my own sanity than anything else ). If I’ve followed you it means I’m interested in writing and have read your rules. If we are not mutuals, you are free to send asks and talk in private messages, but please don’t attempt to roleplay with me.

I am not interested in shipping or writing smut. Anything else is fair game, though. Enemies? Partners in crime? Reluctant friends? All cool with me.

I am not my character. Squidward can be kind of an asshole sometimes and might say mean things, but this doesn’t reflect the writer.

Don’t feel obligated to match my length. I tend to write a lot!

Feel free to drop threads or delete asks from me if they become overwhelming! I don’t mind.

I don’t roleplay through DMs or with asterisks or with personal blogs. Personal blogs are allowed to follow me, though. I just won’t follow back. If you would rather roleplay through discord, that is always an option as well!

Please don’t reblog threads you aren’t a part of. It confuses everybody. If you like a thread and want to keep reading it as we post, liking it is fine.

This blog is low activity. My motivation to write comes and goes, and I am currently running another blog (founderslost) for more horror themed muses if that interests you at all!

spooky ghost noises didn’t scare him. nope. not at all. he glares at the magazine he’s holding but his mind wanders back to what he hopes wasn’t his name being whispered from somewhere behind him. he gulps quietly and buries his head further into the glossy pages.

he slammed the door in this guy's face once already, and if he's anything like squidward's thick headed neighbors it'd be at least twenty-seven times before he gets the memo. so much for enjoying his day off.

" i said halloween isn't until next week, now go. away. " at least there's somewhat of a silver lining: this serves as a reminder to make sure to get out of town before the dreaded day even starts.

okay. he has to be honest here; they've caught his attention. but he isn't about to justify it with much more than a raise of an eyebrow. besides, it's rather odd to be approached by someone you don't know ( by name, no less, although maybe the big name tag on his shirt is the culprit for that ) with an offer like that. lucky for them he isn't doing anything besides standing there now that the lunch rush is over so... he bites.

finally, the second best time of the day ( right before punching the clock and going home! ) : 12 o'clock! lunchtime! he's been counting down from the moment he stepped behind the register and, despite the long line of customers, leaves his station without hesitation. their demands to know where he thinks he's going fall on deaf ears as he throws open the front doors and steps out into the beautiful ocean sun.

he's brought his favorite, a kelp souffle, made by yours truly, and a book unknown artists through the ages and their rise to fame. finding a nice shady spot out of hearing range of his obnoxious coworker who, for the better part of the morning, found the time to satiate the morning rush and write knock knock jokes on the krabby patties in ketchup. he isn't sure how much more of 'what do you think, squidward? this one is my best material' he can take.

and all is perfect until this guy comes along. he sigh loudly.

"why don't you try something a little smaller? i heard the pet store down the street needs someone to fill in for their traveling sea flea circus." he smirks at his own clever joke. see, now this is funny. " now get lost, can't you see i'm trying to enjoy my lunch break?"

“Hey, come on, buddy. I wanna go home.”

“I think you’re overreacting.”

“Clever as you are, you left one damning piece of evidence at the scene of the crime.”

“I’m on fire!“

“No, wait! I’m begging you!”

“Wait. How did you know my name?”

“Are they laughing at us?”

“Nothing can stop me now!”

“___, that’s a terrible idea!”

“Man, that was a close call.”

“You made one fatal mistake. You messed with my paycheck.”

“Pull your pants up, ___. We’re going home.“

“I got you right where I want you.”

“Don’t worry. This’ll only hurt a lot!”

“We failed.”

“You got guts, kid. Too bad I gotta rip them out of you.”

“You never had a chance to defeat me, fool!”

“You know, I’ve been through a lot in the past six days, five minutes, twenty-seven-and-a-half seconds.”

“Come on, I was just kidding.”

“I will destroy all of you!”

“This is the greatest day of my life!“

“Say that again, if you dare.”

impatient hands rest on his hips as his foot taps. some people really don’t grasp the concept of express do they?
