Tough Realizations Of Life
People are allowed to leave you. People are allowed to break up with you. People are allowed to love you but not want to be with you. People are allowed to not want to talk to you. People are allowed to put their happiness before yours and do what makes them happy, even if it does not include you. People are allowed to move on from you. People are allowed to fall in love with someone else. People are allowed to not want you in their life. People are allowed to do whatever they want to better themselves and become the version of themselves they are trying so hard to love. Donât be bitter towards someone who is only trying to be happy.
so my little cousin decided to put our cats into her dollhouse

âDo you want to talk about it or be distracted from itâ is honestly the best thing you can say to me when I say im sad/in pain etc.
this is really good advice to say to anyone who is upset
Alsooo may I add: âdo you want advice or do you just want to vent?â Is also good to add because often unsoliticited advice can further hurt someone who really just wanted a listening ear.
Small Ways To Improve Your Life
make your bed to immediately make your room look more put together
water first, then coffee or tea
pray or meditate, even just for ten minutes, to set the tone for your day
browse the news headlines ( & read the articles that interest you when youâve got time)
wear something you feel b o m b in
listen to music while doing your daily activities-commuting, cleaning, cooking, exercising
smile at at least two people
smile at YOURSELF
call or message someone you love
eat food that makes you feel radiant
make lists of things you need to accomplish for the day
stretch for 10 minutes
record in your phone the positive thoughts you have so you can remember them
carry water with you (always always always)
shut off your phone for an hour and have some ME time
take a hot shower or bath at the end of a stressful day
try to make plans to spend time with someone at least once a week
think about 3 things you are grateful for at the end of each day
do something calming, relaxing, and non-electronic 30 minutes before you sleep
sleep pants-less
Destroy the idea that you have to be constantly working or grinding in order to be successful. Embrace the concept that rest, recovery, and reflection are essential parts of the progress towards a successful and ultimately happy life.

8 Tools for Managing your Anger
1. Learn to recognize when you are feeling stressed â This will help you to reduce your stress before it is expressed as destructive anger.
2. Work on developing your empathy â Trying to see things from anotherâs perspective often helps to dissipate intense emotions.
3. Decide to respond instead of react â Although the way we react often feels automatic, we can actually choose how weâll think, feel and respond. This is empowering, and the road to freedom.
4. Change your self talk - Listen to the conversation in your head and learn to modify extreme, unbalanced thoughts. Look for exceptions to âyou alwaysâ thinking, and reframe âyou mustâ or âyou shouldâ demands.
5. Learn to be assertive â Honest and open communication about your wishes, needs and preferences can stop resentment building â so it doesnât turn to anger.
6. Adjust your expectations â Often anger is triggered by a difference between our expectations and what we actually get. Thus, sometimes it is better to adjust our expectations so theyâre more in line with reality.
7. Forgiving doesnât also mean forgetting â Although it is healthy to sometimes let things go, that doesnât mean we werenât hurt, upset or offended. The difference is weâre choosing to move on with our lives, and weâre not being controlled by external events.
8. Remove yourself from the situation â Retreating temporarily or âtaking time-outâ provides some space to think about the âbest thing to doâ. Thus you maintain control of yourself and circumstances.

19/3/18 A rare moment of good lighting has graced my room today. So a rare studyblr photo has reached my blog to celebrate it. Iâm feeling motivated to work but as soon as I get going i suddenly feel so tired. Iâm feeling a little sad today, itâs nearly easter so the break will be good, but it means saying hello to a lot of work, and this week is so work heavy because after the strikes Iâm having to cram a lot of work in, and so are the department. xxx Emily
