Going thru old tumblr anons like people were so bothered about me existing as the palest lightskin of all time. like my father is a whole nigga and my mom is like straight German. I’m half black and I’ve never hesitated to dispute the obvious colorism dark skin vs lighter skin people have. I get as pale as my mama in the winter but that doesn’t stop me from being black like I’m so sorry haters. In public I specifically don’t say nigga in front of people who don’t know me because they don’t know if I’m black and it’s never worth offending someone, even briefly. But on my fucking personal blog I’m definitely gonna say fuck you niggas who disqualify my race because I’m on the palest side of lightskin. Speaking of colorism I’ve actually been bullied and jumped thru my childhood for going to an all black school and not being dark enough. It was something I was always so insecure about but I love my light ass skin and I now know those girls were just jealous. Not to say that I went thru near anything as bad as black people do everyday but colorism between black people is something that comes from black people just as much as white. I know darkskins who just hate whatever lightskin they see out of jealousy. That’s like saying I can’t be lgbt cause I’m only bisexual. I’m not a whole lesbian or transgender so I don’t fit in the movement? Like be fuckin forreal. My biracial bisexual bilingual ass is no longer listening to these color trolls. Only a jealous white person or jealous black person would say this to me so that being said I pray you find peace in accepting whatever you are. J-cole, half white. Halsey, half black.
