For those of you who might not know, I have several jobs, one being pyro. We spend the week of every Fourth of July burning up the roads and making big booms for all to enjoy. It’s a lot of driving, hard work, aching muscles, ungodly heat, hanging garbage bags in your windows to block sun and catch a nap in your truck, wishing for a shower often, too much Waffle House, did I mention driving? , and not getting nearly enough sleep. But every year we come back, ready to bring the Ooh’s and Ahh’s. Two states, three shows, five days. What a year!
