How would the Dad cookies react to having twins and what would theynane the.?
Had this sitting in my drafts for an entire year. Oops. Gonna be long folks. Gonna copy and repaste what I wrote for them previously minus added details and two added cookies I like, so here's how they react to pregnancy, learning they gonna be a dad, and then the twins bit. Warnings for pregnancy and labor.
Pure Vanilla Cookie:
Decided to merge the two since they both revolve around needing eye rest.
Fount of knowledge has always been guilty of overworking. He can't help it at times, there's just so much to learn and discover that he can't waste moments on sleep. No, that isn't right, sleeping isn't a waste of time when you need it. And Fount of knowledge is lucky that he had you to remind him of that.
However, these past few days, it felt like the tables have turned. Now it was you that was so engrossed by your own research that you often forget to sleep. Leaving Fount of knowledge to take on the responsibility of reminding you to get some rest. Luckily you weren't as stubborn as he is and you were often ready to sleep when reminded. Still, it wasn't enough to save you from what happened tonight. Fount of Knowledge knew that you're still up, the flickering of candle lights in the library gave that way.
He lets out a little fond sigh before heading inside. There you were, in your favorite corner with piles of scrolls and books. And judging from the way you were rubbing your eyes, exhaustion and slumber will catch you soon.
"Up studying again starbrightā?"
And that's when Fount of Knowledge felt his breath stop. You had looked up from what you were reading, innocent in itself, until you got to your eyes. Strawberry Jam filled those eyes where it shouldn't be. Fount of Knowledge has heard about this kind of condition before, but he never wished to see it in person, especially harming the ones he cares for.
"Starbright! Hold still!"
"What?" You were confused at first when Fount of Knowledge grabbed onto your face, but then it turned to worry when you recognized he was casting healing magic.
"Wait! What happened?" You asked him. And by the time you asked that, the healing magic dissipated.
"Strawberry Jam. It was filling your eyes." He answers.
"What?!"
"Now now. It's alright, I've healed them. But it happens when you rub your eyes too hard."
"Oh." You muttered. "I'm sorry, I didn't realizeā"
You were cut off by the fifth yawn this night and Fount of Knowledge decided to take that as a sign.
"It's alright. Let's just head to bed now okay? It pains me to see you hurting."
Hm, you guess trying to skip sleep is considered hurting yourself. No it's not a guess, it's definitive fact.
"Yes, we should go to bed. . . Read me a book on stars?" You sheepishly asked.
Fount of Knowledge chuckles "Of course starbright."
And read to you he did, it started with you resting your head on his shoulders as he read about countless constellations. You don't know what it is, but something about his reading is so soothing, calm and gentle yet still so passionate about what he was reading. It's honestly adorable. Before you know it you felt yourself falling into a sweet slumber.
Fount of Knowledge still has a few ways to go before sleep overcomes him, so he took his time to admire your expression. It's so tranquil that it almost feels ethereal. And he always wonders how he got so lucky, to cross paths with a cookie like you.
Fount of Knowledge said he would get used to it. No more flinching at doors getting slammed and no more worrying why you look frazzled. Because there really isn't anything to worry about. That's just how you are, and it's a habit that won't be going anytime soon. Ot that he minded however, he finds the behavior kind of adorable. How you just can't wait to share what you've discovered that you burst through the library door just to tell him. But alas, even when he said he's used to it, he still got startled when you slammed the library open once again.
Still, it doesn't really stop Fount of Knowledge from smiling in your direction "What did you learn this time Starbright?"
"I did it!"
That. Doesn't give much of an answer. So Fount of Knowledge inquires again "Pardon?"
"I did it! It wasn't easy, it took a lot of effort but I finally found a way to turn myself immortal!"
Fount of Knowledge didn't even care that he dropped a lot of scrolls. He just can't carry the weight of the news and the scrolls at the same time. What do you mean you made yourself immortal? How did you manage that? And why would you even do such a thing?! All questions that he frantically asked with speed.
"I did it for you." You started, a yawn cutting you off "So you wouldn't be alone anymore."
And then you just promptly passed out on a nearby sofa! Unmoving and deeply exhausted.
"Wait! Star Bright! You can't just say that and leave me guessing! Starbright? Starbright!" But it's too late, no matter how much he shook you, you are in deep sleep. And it's not like he wanted to wake you up either, he can tell you needed the sleep, but you can't just leave him hanging either!
"We'll have a discussion first thing when you wake up." He declares, but as much as it irritates him to wait, he must admit he's also excited to finally talk to you. If what you're saying is true, and that you did manage to find the cure to immortality. . .
Will that mean an end to his loneliness?
Hcs for fount of knowledge's reaction to reader who is often super lost in thought but can also just. Start laughing for no reason at all. Either quiet snickering or full blown laughter, they've always remembered something funny or found something ironic, but their laughter comes at the most unexpected moments
He finds it odd at first. How you would suddenly snicker or laugh out of nowhere.
It also happened quite a lot when you two were silently reading in the library. You would always quickly apologize for disturbing the quiet and come back to reading.
Confusion turned to curiosity and he began inquiring about why you do that a lot.
Admittedly you were a little emberass but you did explain that sometimes something funny and ironic would pass by your thoughts and you can't help but snicker. The laugh happens when you're reading something in a story or you recounted an event that happened earlier that day.
Pretty soon. Fount of knowledge started asking you what you discovered that you find so funny.
All of those times, he ended up laughing with you. This kept going for a long time.
You would snicker or laugh, Fount of Knowledge would ask you what it is, you would share and then you both ended up laughing :D
Fount of Knowledge even began looking forward to hearing you. Not only because he found your findings funny as well, but also because he actually enjoyed hearing you laugh with joy.
fount x reader who likes to wander the city streets crazy early like at 4-5 a.m.? Doing research, buying something to help with work, or simply walking. It's peaceful for them
I added a little twist to this! Hope you like it anon!
There are times that Fount of Knowledge wouldn't be able to make it to your nightly walks together. But that doesn't mean he won't find a way to be there. Even if it's in ink and wafer paper.
:BLUE LETTER WITH GOLDEN ACCENTS:
Hello starbright! First of all, I wanted to apologize for not making it to our nightly walks. I know you always looked forward to them, but that's why I'm writing you this letter. I hope this is enough for you to feel my presence.
I honestly thought of this because of something you said. You were reading a letter from a pen pal of yours when you said: "It's just ink and paper, but I feel like I'm hugging them anyways."
Yes, that's right. I remembered what you said, clear as day ^^
I'm not sure how many letters I should write, hopefully not a lot because I'd still rather spend my time by your side. But alas, this will have to suffice. Now, let's not dilly-dally, the bookstore probably has some new arrivals. Go ahead and look over them! I'm sure you'll find one to your fancy.
I'm suddenly taken back to a simpler time just writing that. The time we found that fairytale book. It was something so simple and juvenile, and it had no bearings to our research at all. But you looked so fascinated by it that I just had to get it for you. I hope you have the same smile tonight, because it's just utterly fascinating.
I'm running out of ink now, I should've gotten some during our last nightly walks.
So I will have to end this letter here. I hope you can feel my presence with this, and I wish to hear about your ventures as soon as you come back, starbright.
Your beloved, Fount of Knowledge.
:PLAIN PAPER WITH BLUE ACCENTS:
My dearest, Starbright.
I am once again writing a letter to you. And you already know why that is.
I hope that my presence is still felt in my writing as you walk the night streets. Is the moon shining bright as usual? Or did the clouds took a gander in hiding the light. I just couldn't tell at times, that's just how much I spend my time in the library. Perhaps we should really find a spell that helps us carry the books to the observatory. So the stars will be in our presence as we continue our research.
Speaking of research, how are you with yours? I admit I was concerned about the topic you have chosen.
Not every cookie would dare to uncover where malice comes from, and I agree that it is a fascinating topic. Kindness and Respect are so simple to give, yet some cookies chose not to do so. Is it in their dough? That's usually the answer at times, but what if one can start from kindness then turned to corruption of the heart? The thought itself is dreadful and I think the result of this research will benefit all of cookie kind.
Don't you think so, starbright?
:BLUE PAPER WITH STARS:
To my dearest, starbright.
This marks the third letter I'm writing to you and I simply just want to go on about our trip last night to the library. How we were just picking up a new book, only for you to read to the young cookies in the children's section. Since you felt bad that their usual storyteller couldn't make it.
You were right about fairytales, they do have their moments of enjoyment. Especially when you took me to read a few of them to the young cookies. Just seeing their little faces light up and their fascination is quite fulfilling to see. It reminded me of another thing you spoke about. How fairytales are needed to spark hope in a young mind, so they could reach new heights when they get older. And not just literally ^^
I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the readings tonight, but say hello to the young ones for me! I really wish I could be there with you, reading together and watching that same fasicnation light up a whole room.
Did I ever tell you that you look the same when you were doing your research. I first took note of it when you were studying the stars and the concept of stardust itself. You looked at the knowledge with so much awe that it's quite adorable. That's where I got the idea of calling you starbright as well.
Yes, you read that right. Your nickname came from you studying the stars with so much wonder. Original I know.
But I wouldn't have it any other way. After all, it suits you.
Starbright.
And I'm glad the young ones found joy in calling you the same. I hope to see you soon, and have fun reading to the young ones.
With love, Fount of Knowledge
hello hello!
How would founty of knowledge help reader who gets rlly bad migraines occasionally?
Like maybe they're light sensitive and are going through a darker corridor squinting their eyes and all
Until they accidentally bump into the fount and mutter a quick apology before covering their face with their hands and backing away simply because the shaking and spur of adrenaline hurt so much
Ty!!
It's happening again. You knew sitting down for another round of light reading was a bad idea. And yet you let your curiosity win over your logic once again. Your only saving grace is that your lantern is on its last stretch, leaving you with no choice but to stop for the night and resume tomorrow. That's another saving grace for you, the night sky overstretching the entire continent, lulling anyone into a deep sleep. In your case, a safe haven from those incessant migraines. You're still getting used to calling them what they are, for the longest time you had simply assumed that your struggle is simply a series of painful headaches that appear when it's too bright. Coming to the spire finally placed a name on your condition, followed by instructions to help remedy pain.
Maybe that's why you were so fond of visiting the spire now. Not only did it have the means to help you, but the knowledge that it held. . . It's just so fascinating, you just wished the migraines aren't in the way.
But alas, some things must come to an end. With the little light from the lantern, you used it to return the scrolls and books you were reading, it's just a shame that it didn't last long enough to guide you through the dark hallways. But that turned out to be a blessing in disguise, because the moment you stepped out of the library another migraine hit you. Turns out reading late into the night had drawbacks, who would've thought.
That's how you found yourself in the halls of the spire, wandering with squinted eyes as you put your trust in the moon to guide your way, one moon beam at a time. The migraine is starting to pick up, and it had you picking up your own speed. While the pain is inevitable at least it'll all be over when youā
"Oof!"
Pain, pure blinding pain consumed your head when you hit something in the dark. Or rather, someone.
"Starbright?" You know that voice.
With one hand clutching at your head, the other hand is waving away in the direction you think he is "Sorry Fount of Knowledge." You hated the way your pain reached your voice.
"Oh no no it's alright! But what about you?" Fount of knowledge paused to assess what he's seeing, but it's clear as day when he saw your pained face and you holding onto your head like it's about to split apart.
"Is it your migraines again?" Fount of Knowledge ask. You didn't have the energy to verbally answer so you just settled with a little nod of your head.
"I'm so sorry Starbright. Here." Fount of knowledge then gave you a pat on the head.
You knew he used his healing powers when you can't feel the pain anymore.
"I feel. . . Great!" Your little cheer had Fount of Knowledge letting out a small chuckle.
"I'm gonna read more scrolls!" You didn't make it far after your little announcement when you felt the Fount of Knowledge snag the back of your shirt.
"The scrolls aren't going anywhere Starbright. Sleep"
You shrugged "That's fair."
A request of mint, no pressure btw
Fount of Knowledge or Sage of Truth with a magical girl!cookie reader?
Okey! Okey! š
Fount of Knowledge is aware about a lot of things in EarthBread, it just comes with the job of being the virtue of Knowledge after all. You can even say that his vast infinite knowledge of the world could be made to almost predict certain expectations. And that has been the case in some areas. Still, it could have never prepared him for what's to come next.
You.
A cookie decorated in frills, ribbons and a magic staff. Meant to spread kindness and hope among cookiekind through fighting off the never ending darkness of the world. It's even safe to say that you were the unofficial sixth virtue. The Virtue of Hope. He had a chance to meet you one faithful day, when the knights of Kala Namak and the Knight of Solidarity stopped by for a little visit in the Spire. It's no secret that you would get along most with the Knights, given that you fight for the same cause, through the same methods.
But that doesn't stop Fount of Knowledge from wanting to get to know you.
And it didn't take long for Fount of Knowledge that you were a curious one as well.
Curious enough to be eager to step foot into the spire and meet the Fount of Knowledge himself.
"Fount of Knowledge, it's an honor to finally meet you!" Were the first words you spoke of, with bright eyes filled to the brim with wonderment. It was honestly quite endearing. Oh if only he could predict how thirsty you were for knowledge.
Headcanons Time!
Obviously from what Fount of Knowledge could see, you were quite the fan of learning about magic. And your reasons are very noble, claiming that you need to know more about magic if you want to be strong enough to protect your fellow cookies.
And when you began inquiring about more magic spells from Fount of Knowledge, it unexpectedly led to long discussions about magic constructs and spell crafting.
Admittedly, Fount of Knowledge was worried at first, believing that the moment you hear something you don't want you would turn away from the spire, just like the other cookies from before.
But to his surprise, you end up sad, yes but it doesn't deter you from looking for another solution to your predicament. And it actually encouraged you to visit the spire some more. Unknowingly filling the void of loneliness that Fount of Knowledge felt.
It didn't take long for the other virtues to hear about the budding bond between you and Fount of Knowledge.
And while they were quite supportive, Eternal Sugar Cookie had a different view on your daily visits and long discussions with Fount of Knowledge.
"Why it is obvious that they're flirting! It just so happens that it all sounds academic." Concluded Eternal Sugar Cookie.
Obviously she never said it in front of the others, preferring that things will take a natural course but it doesn't change the fact that she sees another truth.
A truth that you and Fount of Knowledge are unaware of just yet, too eager to just stay in each other's company and simply be content.
Glad your doing okay, can I request platonic Shadow milk cookie with Witch reader was turned into a cookie that is also his creator standing alongside awakened pure vanilla cookie? with reader saying how sorry they are for neglecting SMC for so long, for not being there for him stop his corruption, and for allowing him to be sealed away for so long. Then they open their arms for an embrace and telling him alongside pure vanilla that he won't be lonely anymore only for SMC to basically having a meltdown and running away with his minions.
And maybe pure vanilla cookie comforting reader and reassuring them they will meet SMC again.
Sorry if I mispronounced any thing.
It's over.
Even if Shadow Milk Cookie says he's not done fighting. It's obvious from his exhaustion that it's done.
Pure Vanilla Cookie was already strong enough to hold off Shadow Milk Cookie now that he had reached his awakened form, but your sudden arrival brought up a new a challenge. Shadow Milk Cookie's wrath, and that said wrath gave him the strength to keep going.
Not that any of that mattered in the end.
You were a witch.
Creator of Cookies and most of all, creator of Shadow Milk Cookie.
And it didn't take too long until Shadow Milk is reduced into fatigue once again. Unfortunately, the same could be said about you.
"You've come so far. Shadow Milk Cookie." Were the first words you spoke to him, like actually spoke to him. The first thing you literally did was shout 'Enough!' and when Shadow Milk Cookie demanded to explain yourself, you opted to stay silent and just aid Pure Vanilla Cookie in his fight. Until now, in this still moment, surrounded by the dusty crumbling scent of rubble of what used to be the spire.
"Don't---don't act all proud." Shadow Milk Cookie managed to say in between ragged breaths.
"You dare show yourself. After all these years?! WHY?! WHY NOW?!"
"I---" You didn't get a word, Shadow Milk Cookie is just not done in his ramblings.
"Don't tell me it's because of this thief! That stupid, backstabbing, sould jam THIEF!"
You vehemently shook your head at the accusation "No! It's not because of Pure Vanilla Cookie!"
"THEN WHY?!"
"I'm sorry!" There, you said it out loud before anything could hold you back. Your answer garnered a reaction from all, from Pure Vanilla Cookie, Gingerbrave and his friends, Shadow Milk Cookie's minions and Shadow Milk Cookie himself. All in an array of confusion of shock as they processed your words.
"I came to apologize." You can't help but grunt out in pain, but that didn't stop you from going on "For everything. For letting you go through all of it alone."
The shock that brought down Shadow Milk Cookie's walls for a moment disappears as he steels his nerves to scoff at your declaration "Please, like I wanted an apology from the likes of you!"
"I know, but you deserved one anyways." You said in earnest "I was. . . A coward. I saw what you were turning into, and I didn't do anything to stop it. All because I didn't want to accept that I. . . That I was the cause of your loneliness. And for that, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry."
Melancholy dances in the air as all of you stood in silence, with the occasional sniffles from what you think are from Gingerbrave and his friends. All the while you don't take your eyes off of Shadow Milk Cookie, it maintained when you finally found the strength to stand up and do something you never thought you would do. You opened your arms, and offered advice. Something you should've been doing a long time ago.
"Pure Vanilla Cookie is right about what he said, Shadow Milk Cookie. I don't deserve your forgiveness, and you have a every right to hate me, but that shouldn't stop you from seeking companionship. You can find it Shadow Milk Cookie, I know you can."
"I don't---I---" Shadow Milk Cookie sputters and it pains you to see him so conflicted at a simple display of compassion. He does find his resolve however and that came in the form of an attack. A light beam headed for your and Pure Vanilla Cookie's direction, your instincts took over and you summoned a shield that blocked the beam, only serving to make Shadow Milk Cookie more angry.
"You think some flowery words is going to make me close the curtains?! HA! And they say I'm the fool! What makes you think I'll actually be friends with that soul jam thief? You got a lot of nerve for someone so spineless." Shadow Milk Cookie spat venom with those words, and you took it all in without any comebacks, it's what you deserve after all.
"Master Shadow Milk Cookie! We need to go or we're all going to crumble!" Black Sapphire Cookie began pulling at Shadow Milk Cookie's arm, he must be in agreeance because there was little to no resistance.
"This isn't over. I'll be back, you hear!" Shadow Milk Cookie announces for one final time before him and his minions are off to a portal he summoned. Of course, the world will never be void of lies, and that was just enough power for the deceit trio to escape. You didn't have time to mourn his vanishing either, because you heard one of the cookies yelp.
"We better get out of here before we're all crumbs!" It was Wizard Cookie and he's got a point, the whole spire of knowledge is coming down for it's final stand.
"I'll get us out!" You declared, letting insiticts take over again as you lifted your staff to cast a spell once more. A simple teleportation spell that engulfed You, Pure Vanilla Cookie, Gingerbrave and his friends.
Hopefully they'll give you a chance to rest after you're all transported to safety. You still got a long road ahead of you, with answering questions and letting them know that you mean no threat despite being a former witch. But for now, your mind drifts to Shadow Milk Cookie, with a never ending hope that he could be saved.
Sorry for the long wait, you know my song and dance already. Recovered from surgery, got a nasty cold, recovered again and now I'm fine again :D
Anyways, hope you enjoyed!

Mwah Mwah Shadow milk. . .š
Listen, I know Sage of Truth is the only Shadow Milk toĀ neverĀ become evil, but Timekeeper also said something around the lines about Sage of Truth being āa rare truthful variantā which implies that other non-deceitful Shadow MilksĀ exist(even if they were evil at some point, theyād been redeemed or changed enough to be considered different), so what if you were started successfully redeeming Shadow Milk? What would that relationship look like? Well sit back and listen to me rant about this idea I got at four in the morning! (Listen, I doubt a universe like this could be very canon-adjacent, but I donāt want to get rid of this since I wrote a lot & I got too attached so Iāll probably be making a whole tag for this)
You are one of Pure Vanillaās friends who traveled with him and the group of Gingerbraveās friends to Beast Yeast, so you were with Pure Vanilla and the kids when Shadow Milk trapped them in the spire. It was a terrifying experience, not knowing what was happening to your friend as his act as Truthless Recluse played out and trying to act as the kidsā protector all while Shadow Milk pushed you all through his trials. But despite all of the fear you felt, you also felt⦠confused. Shadow Milk had dragged you around a lot, likely using you as a means to mess with Truthless Recluse, but it felt like more than that. You were fairly sure that he enjoyed having you close by as the eyes in his hair all focused on you in what looked like fascination and tenderness any time he was holding onto you, making you wonder about just how many cookies he chooses to touch actually let him without any complaints like youāve been doing. It made you realize how lonely he must be and how you werenāt opposed to giving him company. In fact, sometimes youād actively seek him out in the spire (to no avail since Candy Apple and Black Sapphire always found you first, but still).
When Pure Vanilla had awakened and given his offer for friendship, you stood beside him with the same promise, knowing exactly what Pure Vanilla saw in him: a cookie who craves love, a cookie who wants to be understood. He initially looked like he was considering it, making you hopeful. It was sad to see how his walls went back up only a moment later, and you were worried about how weakened he seemed when he escaped before the spire could collapse. It was only when youād arrived safely home to your cottage on the edge of the Vanilla Kingdom that Shadow Milk appeared, floating over and clinging to you like you were the only thing holding him together.
Since then, heād been living (relatively) peacefully with you. He had made a few⦠improvements to your cottage like making it bigger on the inside than the outside and adding various chaotic features from the spire or features he thought were entertaining, but he never seemed to force them. If he thinks you didnāt like a particular feature, itāll be gone whenever you arenāt looking and never mentioned again. The only time heād consider bringing those things back is if you mention it like you want it back and by then heād probably have it back in an instant. But despite his attempts to be subtle about how he values your permission to do all of this, his minions, who had also come to live with you, sometimes comment on it and were the ones to make you realize that Shadow Milk is willing to do practically whatever you want. So, with at least a bit more hope, you asked him the question again, and to your shock, he agreed to work towards redemption if it ment he could stay with you.
Now we get to the fun part: what a redeemed/being redeemed Shadow Milk would look like!
With a redeemed Shadow Milk, Iād assume heād take on a less intense personality. This Shadow Milk would never truly mellow out into the Fount of Knowledge or become like the Sage of Truth because heād never truly give away the comfort that lies and being a āself-obsessed piece of shitā brings to him, but he would definitely learn to calm down slightly with his theatrics. Now, you canāt expect him to stop being theatrical, but he will stop putting more violent measures into his scripts when you tell him to. Itās a relief that heās started to listen to your feedback on his work and the fact that heās not trying to hurt cookies as much anymore is something that convinced all the ancients to let you continue on with your help (though Pure Vanilla could already tell you were helping prior to this and always wanted you to stay with him). But despite that, you are still not allowed in any Kingdom without supervision due to the worries that Shadow Milk would follow you and do something disastrous in order to bring you back to your cottage. And, to be fair, this isnāt unreasonable since heās still not very trustworthy in most cookies eyes(for good reason) and has done that before while you at the Vanilla Kingdomās marketplace.
Now, being so untrustworthy isnāt a change for Shadow Milk, but it ends up making him feel pretty isolated now that heās trying not to lie to himself about how his āfriendsā feel about him and how lonely he is even with the company of his minions. However, since you were the one to begin truly redeeming him and saw good in him even when he was admittedly a bit of an asshole, he feels safe around you. You are someone that he wants to stay, and if you werenāt there to hold him together during particularly bad moments, he probably wouldāve gone mad. He gets admittedly a little scared when you leave the cottage for long periods of time, and heāll sometimes pester you into letting him come with on long errands or visits to your friends as an animal form like a snake or bluebird. In fact, the time you first mentioned how you were redeeming Shadow Milk was in a meeting where heād gently wrapped himself around your neck as a snake, silently glaring at Pure Vanilla to the point where you felt his identity behind the disguise was obvious.
And now that I brought it up, some things will never change about him. For example, he still doesnāt exactly like Pure Vanilla or most things that remind him of the healer because of how he tricked him. In his words, āThat fool went off-script and ruined my plans, I should have gotten my souljam and cast him aside!ā So you are still working on desensitizing him to Pure Vanilla, how fun. But anyways, heās actually gotten on a friendly level with the Gingerbrave gang and he has even started to get along with his least favorite, Custard Cookie, and itās clear he sees the small king as more than an extension of Pure Vanilla now. Itās great to see him not exactly despise the kids now despite his insistence on staying true to his thoughts on Pure Vanilla.
And, additionally, another thing that stuck with him was his unusual quirks he gave his place of residence. Shadow Milk still makes the part of your cottage he inhabits have at least a little pizzazz such as floating objects, hallways that are longer than they look on the outside of the building, and a theme of eye related decor which youāre pretty sure he can see out of. You donāt mind most of his little touches to the cottage. In fact, you find it quite cute to see him make himself at home with little touches of himself, and youāve gotten used to looking out for little rabbit minions roaming the halls doing little tasks. Also, his minions, now preferring the names Sweet Apple and Simmering Sapphire, both still live alongside Shadow Milk and have been surprisingly accepting of all of the new adjustments. It feels like youāre building a whole family.
But despite all of the positives, Shadow Milk is still adjusting and isnāt perfect. He messes up every once in a while and can lash out at times. What really matters though is how you realize that those moments donāt define all of his efforts as a whole. You understand that being good doesnāt immediately erase all bad thoughts. Even truly good cookies can be tempted by what they perceive as the āeasier pathā or act out when theyāre stressed. Redemption is a process and it is better to help Shadow Milk correct those mistakes than to make a big deal of out something that doesnāt show who he is.
All in all, you do try your best to help Shadow Milk because you care. You want him to be better not to be known as the ābeast tamerā or to hold power over him but to instead help him feel safe and secure. You hope that one day, heāll be able to surround himself with cookies that would do their best to understand and respect him.
I have gained an obsession with this idea and will be responding to asks about it & possibly making quite a few more posts about it soon (maybe even another one today!) so if you liked this, stay tuned :D
(By the way, I am sorry if this had any weird errors, I only proofread this at about 7am and didnāt do any additional proofreading before posting this, lol)
