Hi guys! I just wanted to come on here and recommend one of my FAVORITES byler AO3 fanfic right now, it's called "power play" by bridgetobyler, it's a seven spins fic based in a modern au and it's friends to enemies to lovers and still ongoing with about 11 chapters I believe! It also has smut btw, and when I tell you that is this (in my opinion) the BEST seven spins fic I have read it is, it's so well and beautifully written, the characters writing in this is so good! Mike is so complexed and always be going through the ringer lol, but seriously it's such a wonderful story that captures the toxic culture of hockey and homophobia, mike wheeler goes through something that I like to call "obsession for perfection" for hockey and is a perfectionist, like no matter what he has to do good on the ice and satisfy his father (I don't want to spoil too much) but it's literally so amazing and always has me on the edge of my seat, and will is a ice skater duh and let's just say him and Mike aren't on good terms with each other they used to be best friends then something just happened....but gosh I feel like this fanfic needs more attention like I'm talking about ttmd ttms level, the storytelling and character writing is so beautifully done and I love how it shows the toxic harsh side of hockey and also has representation of anger issues and being a perfectionist, I'm not well at explaining things but just trust me this story is amazing complex emotional but so freaking cinematic you all need check this out it needs more attention and love.
