Hey! Here is my entry for gbjam 5 (GameBoy Jam) made in a little more than a week. You might notice some similarities with other games.
Here are some of the sprites used in the game, most of them are handpainted(digitally painted) They are quite rough and painted in a hurry, but since they got downscaled to such a small resolution you don’t really notice it in the game.
Warning, some gruesome spooks ahead!

having handmade singular texture atlases are quite a pain for level design, but the combination of unique textures and decals help make the environment more gritty.

3D Jet Fighter Arcade Game
Made a new demo/prototype showcase for DD9.
It’s more of a stress test than a feature showcase unlike the first demo. However I am definitely interested on how it runs on your machine if you do download it.
The size is rather big for such a simple demo (577mb) so I’m not expecting a lot of people to grab it. And I have to find out how to reduce the size of the landscape since it’s quite ridiculous just for 1 landscape.
This is running off an old build so feature wise its more or less the same as the first one. Its just that the environment and what’s on the air including the player’s aircraft is a little bit different.
(tbh i just uploaded it for DD9 so there is an actual feature showcase demo I want to show in the future. stay tuned! )
Edit: Whoops! Turns out I forgot to change the missile count for the player. I’ll update it in a few days after I finish work for the weekend.
And i’ll turn down that engine noise. That is louder than I anticipated.
