AI companies are quietly obtaining rare books, ingesting their contents, and then destroying them -- even if they're exceedingly rare.

they've had to face settlements against stealing from current authors, so they'll just go for the old books now. they're also doing this so they have the only copies of rare books.

they're taking water, power, natural resources for their data centers. they steal. they're book burning, essentially. i'm just so angry, i'm at a loss right now.

We all knew that some day the music would stop and the curtain would fall. We've had so long to prepare for it. And yet.

I feel like saying - wait. Wait. Please. I need more time. I wasn't ready.

I can't find the words. Nothing is good enough for what we've experienced.

Messi was painted as a failure for reaching 3 finals in a row. For taking Argentina to the brink again and again with the odds stacked against him. He endured some terrible management and a federation that couldn't even guarantee him a safe flight. Where he had to pay the staff wages to keep the lights on. And the whole time he was doubted and insulted because he had left so young. They called him cold-chested and defaced his image. Insulted his family.

That would have been enough for anyone to retreat, but he came back. He persisted, and he gave us two Copas, the crowning glory of the World Cup in 2022, and so many miraculous performances at this final World Cup at the age of 39.

Look at the fans singing his name in the face of defeat. That's the least of the tributes he deserves.

If this is the end - it was a privilege to witness your entire international career.
