For the fic thingy 💕 She has no idea when this happens. It feels faster than time. One moment she’s standing there, frozen in horror as the subway’s light creeps up the tracks and she sees Henry lift a foot as if to take a step. The next second, a blast of wind from the train slams against her like a brick wall as the locomotive whizzes by. Somehow, she managed to grab him and pull him back just in time. She can’t even remember doing it.

I love it when you write things! And they’re always right on time. I’m in the nursery sitting with a toddler so I had nothing to do and seems like here lately, I’ve been the only person putting out any material. 😭

First off, your stuff is ALWAYS cute, but I loved how smart this was too. Like, I can never write things intelligently whenever it comes to science because I don’t know how to communicate stuff scientifically. That app description was amazing!

And I was so happy she won. Like my child has been given her things, at last.

I’m glad you liked the app description. I did too, but I was afraid it might be too clunky and distract from the story too much. I’m happy you perceived it positively.

I will be continuing this shortly… I have a good feeling about it. I enjoyed writing it a lot and I don’t feel done with it yet, which, given my track record, is a good sign.

Okay, see, because it DIDN’T feel like it was really over to me, but because I know that continuing can be draining and stressful, I’m trying to refrain from asking people about continuing stuff. Lol.

Last thing I’ll say before forcing myself to bed is that it would be a sad way for the cookie to crumble to have this kind of concept and only go that far with it. I definitely have plans for what’s next.

But thanks for being considerate :) I agree on the continuing being stressful sometimes point. I hate feeling stressed about doing something I love.

I’m a little late in getting to this but thank you for sending it to me because lord knows Tumblr is all kinds of awful and terrible and yucky…

There’s a selfish part of me that would love to see you continue this, and I’m not sure if that’s what you originally intended. But there’s another part of me, the writer part, which knows that sometimes we say much more by saying much less. And to me, this really said a lot.

What I love about this is how it encompasses the themes that make HD what it is, but executed in a much more real way. I was able to connect with the characters of Charlotte and Piper you presented here in this short piece way more deeply than I can with the actual versions of them we see on screen. And that’s a shame to the writers, but it’s even more of a testament to your skill.
