All the bells;) But, hands down one of the most challenging exercises I do are push up variations. Looove them! And Zero equipment needed. 💥 If you’re traveling or can’t get to the gym there is still lots you can do w/ your own bodyweight. Here are 9 great bodyweight exercises: ~ Squats: Try making bodyweight challenging by making the eccentric (lowering part) super slow & adding a pause or a half rep. Or do jump squats for more of a metabolic conditioning move. ~ Bulgarian split squats: If standard BW squats are too easy for you, give these a go. Add a slow eccentric, a pause at the bottom, an extra half rep, or a jump. You could even add a pause at the bottom & part way up! Brutal. ~ Lunges: Static, reverse, forward, curtsy, forward+reverse, & walking lunges. Add pauses, half reps, slow eccentrics or jumps. You can even pair them with the squats to do a lunge-squat-lunge combo. ~ Single Leg Romanian Deadlifts. A slow eccentric on these is 🔥 as is pairing them with a reverse lunge. ~ Glute Bridges, esp the single leg variety. If you have a bench or ottoman handy you can elevate your shoulders & do hip thrusts instead. Or put your heels together & do some high-rep frog pumps. Also try an iso hold at the top for 5-10 seconds, or use those slow eccentrics & extra half reps. ~ Hollow Holds: Make them harder by extending your arms out behind your head (long lever hollow hold). Be sure to keep your lower back shoved into the ground the whole time:) ~ Knee Grab Sit Ups: Once you’ve mastered those long lever hollow holds use that as the starting position for knee grab sit ups. You can also rotate to the side at the top to work your obliques. ~ Planks: Start by mastering the basic plank and then try single leg, offset single leg, long lever, slow reaching, pledge, up/down & side. ~ https://www.instagram.com/p/BsLJ8obADAb/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=34tgz1szq0r6
