Update!! Electra came to me in September and we have had some wonderful weeks together so far. <3 Obviously I’m in England most of the year, but she’s doing so well back home and I’m trying to pick a stallion to breed her to this summer. :D

Google street-view photo of what might become my new home... It also happens to be my old home - my family lived here 16 years ago, and it still belongs to my grandparents.
Heavens above be willing, I am moving here in the summer, have Electra stay here while I start trying to get the place in order... This picture is a few years old, and the place looks more derelict now - especially the barn in the middle... Nobody has lived here since we moved out.Â
There are 40 hectares of fields, and a further 60 hectares consisting of forest and mountain area. Inside the barn (right) there used to be dairy cows, however there should be space to set up ten generous-sized horse boxes in the main barn area. This would leave half the ground floor unused, and the first floor would also be empty. The building in the middle needs to be demolished, something that will be done as soon as possible, though building something new there will have to wait.
Fingers crossed this happens...

I am most likely crazy, stupid... Also though I have loved this horse for twelve years and there was no way I was going to let her go to horse heaven just yet. So I am going to “adopt” her!! I can’t take her to England with me, but I found the perfect place where she can stay while I’m away and I’m kinda buzzing, haha.
So say hi to my new pony, welsh cob Electra. <3
