When I say everything I mean everything. I wanted to be a rapper, so I wrote my first song at 8. I needed haircuts so I bought clippers at 10 and taught myself how to cut hair. I wanted to DJ so I bought a set of turntables a mixer and some speakers at 11 and DJ’d a few house parties. I wanted to make beats so I bought a drum machine at 13 and taught myself how to make beats, compose, engineer, mix & master. Became a father for the first time at 15 and again at 31 and both my girls say I’m the best dad they could ask for. I wanted to own my own record label so at 20 I studied the music industry and started UQEnt.com & UQEnt Publishing. I’ve always wanted to shoot videos so I bought camera equipment and taught myself how to film and edit. All on my own no rich dad, big homie or investors just grind and hard work. I #produced 6 full projects with help from my lil brother from another mother @drebutterz313 on 2 #tracks my nephew @lasko_6_ on one and @greatsymphony did 1 as well. I did 5 of 6 of the #graphicdesign #artworks #composed #arranged #recorded #engineered #mixed #mastered #released did all the necessary #paperwork to make sure every artist has their portion of ownership (even cut my ownership to make sure performance artist has ownership) also released about 10 #singles #artist worked on other albums, #shot #directed and #edited 5 #musicvideos and did 2 shot and #interviewed 2 artist for the @uqent1 #podcast all while being a full time #single #father of a 13 yr old daughter.
