“Why do I get the feeling our relationship is backwards?” he asks as he wanders into your room, shrugs his jacket off, and hangs it over the back of your desk chair. You stare at his back, perplexed. Why was he here? “Isn’t it usually the girl who always wants to talk about feelings and the guy who bottles everything up inside?” he continues, his words finally catching up to you. Relationship? Feelings?
“I don’t bottle things up,” you shoot back, unable to clearly process the deeper meaning behind his words. Well, there is an imaginary box you like to hide things in, but that’s different—you think, in afterthought. “Right.” he responds, concurring. You can practically taste the sarcasm, his usual honey-like voice dripping with it.
“Why—” you clear your throat, “Why are you here?” There’s a brief pause—not too long, but still long enough for your palms to begin to garner sweat. “Give me the setting sun, and I’ll be a richer man than most.” his voice is soft, almost as if he’s whispering. His hand reaches back in a swift motion, and he’s pulling off his shirt. As pure reflex you lower your gaze, but not before catching sight of his wings. They flutter momentarily, the sheer pink reflection catching in the setting sun. “For never have I seen gold like that which glows above the earth. Give me the night sky, and I’ll be the richest man for sure. For never have I seen diamonds like those that dance beside the moon.” he continues, back still facing you. You just barely recognize the scripture, fae are an ancient breed who take tradition very seriously. They have scriptures for everything—some more important than others. Your gut tells you this specific scripture is important. You begin to panic, wracking your brain for any clue as to what he’s saying to you—what he means.
And that’s when you see it, tucked beneath his left shoulder blade, almost hidden by his wing. A tattoo. Tattoos, to fae specifically, are much more than body art. They’re not meant for fun, they’re a declaration. A promise. A vow. You swallow your shock, narrowing your eyes to get a better look at the art. It’s small, delicate—but it also sticks out amongst his smooth, wide back. You open your mouth to question him but your words die in place, your tongue suddenly feels thick, heavy in your mouth. It’s your name—the intricate design, the complex lines. This was more than a friend showing another friend some body art. This was a confession of the highest degree. A confession a fae of royalty should not be making to a simple human.
“That’s incredible, Jaehyun. It is. But—" you swallow loudly in the quiet room, your heart jumping erratically in your chest.
“No.“ He turns around. "No buts. You think I’m going to hurt you? You think I’m going to get bored and run off with some undergrounder, some fairy, the first chance I get?” his eyes are piercing, dark with frustration. “You obviously have no idea how amazing you are. You are incredible, and I want you.” you take a step back, suddenly overwhelmed by his proximity, what he’s saying. “Every part of you. I want your stubbornness and your sarcasm and your competitive spirit. I want you challenging me and fighting beside me.” His large hands settle around your shoulders, pulling you closer. You resist—holding your hand on his chest—keeping him at a distance. What if one of the guards saw? “I want to hold you and kiss you and so much more because there’s no one else in the world who knows me like you do. You have always been the one for me, even when we couldn’t stand each other.” he lowers his voice, and suddenly everything becomes much more intimate. “You’re beautiful, and you’re more intelligent than any fairy I’ve met. It just feels right when you’re beside me. It feel like I’ve been lost in the desert for years, and…I’ve finally come home.” he finishes, winded like he’s ran a marathon.
His dark eyes trace your features, gently removing your hand from his chest, closing the distance between you slowly. And, instead of fighting it like you should, you close your eyes and let yourself go. You feel the muscles of his shoulder beneath your hand. The frame his arms create is strong, secure, but you want those arms tighter around you. You want there to be no space at all between you.
As if reading your mind, he closes the distance. Tilting your chin up—his lips drawing you in—your breath becoming one. You want him so badly. You want to kiss him, laugh with him, cry with him, share every waking moment of your life with him because no matter how many awful things he’s done in the past, you can’t shake the undeniable feeling that when his arms are around you, you’re home.

I tread paths by moonlight that others fear to speak of during the day. I have talked to gods, slept with sirens, and written songs that make the minstrels weep.” you cock your eyebrow, patiently waiting for him to get to the point.
“You have to have heard of me.” he balks at your impassive expression.
“Your highness,” you resist the urge to roll your eyes. “I know who you are, I just don’t care.” The absolute shock that momentarily paints his handsome features has you holding back a laugh. “But—” now you do roll your eyes, already bored with the conversation.
“Your highness, I’m here to teach you—not indulge your ego. You’re going to be king soon—” he cuts you off, abruptly. “I do not wish to be king.” there’s an edge to his voice, a hard set to his jaw. You take a deep breath. “That doesn’t change the fact that you will be.” There’s a dark, forlorn and almost heartbreaking look in his eyes—it’s sudden and it’s gone as fast as it appeared—but it’s enough to stop you in your tracks. You swallow down the insult that was steadily making its way up your throat and you look at him, really look. Despite all of his accomplishments, if you wish to call sharing a chamber with a siren an accomplishment, he still just a kid. And suddenly your heart hurts for him,
“I once knew a troll who was heir to the throne of a great kingdom, he lived as a ranger and fought his destiny to sit on a throne but in his blood he was a king.” you say offhandedly, gazing out the large window to the east woodlands. You can feel the snap of his gaze on you. “I also knew a fae who was the king of a small kingdom, it was very small and his throne very humble.” you smile to yourself, remembering how delighted you were to meet such a respectable court. “He and his people were all brave and worthy conquerors.”
He takes a step towards you, you feel his eyes settle on your own—but you keep your gaze resolutely out the window. “And I knew a vampire who sat on a magnificent throne of a big and majestic kingdom, but he was not a king at all, he was only a cowardly steward.” you confessed quietly, suddenly overwhelmed by the memory of such a cruel ruler. Your eyes must reflect your feelings on the matter because the prince steps in front of you, cutting off your line of sight to the great woods. “Why are you telling me this?” he questions, his tone lowered to match yours.
You finally concede, looking up and catching his eyes. “Because I want you to know. You will be the king of a great kingdom, human or not—whether you want it or not—you will be the king, even if you live in naivety.” His gaze darkens as you turn around and reach for a book on the 9 woodland kingdoms, the kingdoms you’re meant to teach the prince about, thoroughly; the book is old and worn, it smells like burnt leaves. “My lady, I did not think you could answer it.” his voice cuts through the sudden silence. You tilt your head in his direction, for the first time, curious. “Answer what?” you voice, confusion etched in your features.
“Your calling, of course. When my father took you from your home without your leave—and set value only on your gift—I questioned your knowledge on the subject matter at hand.” he rounds the table, holding your gaze hostage. “But I am answered truly. You have given fair return for insult thrice over and set your worth: higher than my life and all my kingdom and all who live therein.”
He comes to a stop in front of you, yet again, this time much closer than before. “And though you can send my people to the fire, I can claim no debt to repay. It would be justly done.” his whispered words catch you off guard—the implication, the suggestion of a confession. You drop the book you’re holding, the noise echoing through the barren halls.

how you met;
you met hyunjin while you were shopping for new clothes for the winter
hyunjin had piles of fluffy jackets draped over her arm, and there was a stray leaf in her hair that must have fallen on her head when she was outside
the fall weather makes everyone romantic
and you couldn’t help but think about striking up a conversation with her
and maybe taking her to the cafe next door
and get to know each other over pastries and coffee
lucky for you, hyunjin came over to you before you had the chance
it wasn’t exactly because she was looking to talk to you (oop)
she was actually looking for a specific jacket that you happened to have collected while on your way around the store
but, it happened, and you took the opportunity and made some small talk with her
then, you decided that you might as well go for it, since hyunjin was looking a little bit suspicious, like she was into you as well
and inquired for her number
she happily gave it to you
and as you showed her the way to where her desired coat was (even though you couldn’t remember very well) she asked if you would like to meet her at the cafe next to the store for some coffee and pastries
needless to say, you were dumbfounded, she practically read your mind
but you of course agreed
more on this in the headcannons because i have a lot to say
the basics;
hyunjin’s cancer moon causes her to treat her loved ones like family
she doesn’t have many boundaries once you get to know her really well, although it does take a while for her to open up and become vulnerable with you

so, you two head over to the adorably quaint café next to the clothing store

she pouted a bit, but i mean who wouldn’t like someone else paying for them
both of you buy hot chocolates as well, instead of coffee because chocolate is 10x better fight me
she ends up getting icing on her nose, which you point out to her giggling, but also trying not to make her feel embarrassed because no one wants that
she blushed, and wiped it off
at least, she attempted to, she probably would have gotten it off however you took this chance to be a hopeless romantic and reach over to wipe it off
and her face was burning
the time you visited a botanical garden takes the cake for the most aesthetic date
hyunjin read the names of every single plant in a documentary person (?) voice
you had to laugh
the looks on the other people’s faces were hilarious when you girlfriend started to read the little sign next to the flower bed in a dry, informational voice
one person even thought she worked there
you wanted her to go along with it and pretend she was actually an employee, but sadly she’d already bursted out laughing
you held hands the entire time and it was perfect
both of you tried to make the venus fly-trap eat your fingers
luckily, it did!
hyunjin was overly energetic that day, and kept bouncing all around
you of course joined in on the fun and started aggressively dancing to why not
she was loving it, and joined in, making you look bad but that’s okay

in response to her obsession with bread, you decided the perfect nickname for her was “breadstick”
hyunjin wasn’t opposed to this
others did tease her about it
but she did not care and continued her amazing shameless love of bread

doesn’t like to call you baby cloud in public though
prefers to call you it when you two are alone, just enjoying each other’s presence

And you two would just stay on the couch, on each other's arms, probably watching your favorite series to distract you.

JB would come home, stop at the door, and would try to figure it out why you're making weird noises. When he sees you crying, he would open his eyes widely and would go to you with a soft voice -"Hey Hey, are you ok? What's wrong?"
He would get on his knees in front of you and would hold your hands, trying to look at your face
You two would stay like this, he uncousciously caressing your hands with his thumbs, until you collect yourself and start talking to him about everything that is bothering you
He listens to every single word you say with maximum attention.
He makes sure to remind you how he admires you and how strong you are
He would put some relaxing music on, and would cuddle you until you fall sleep
And the next day he makes sure you're ok and ready to go through another day confidently
Jackson
Jackson would come home all happy, but when he sees you crying, his smiling face contracts into the saddest expression ever
He immediately runs to you, jumping over any obstacle in his path, and cups your face with one hand while move your hair away from it with his other hand
He is actually in verge of shedding tears too
He wants to know what happened, almost desperatly
But he holds his emotions and waits for you to tell him, while he hugs you and caress your head
When you tell him about your day, he gets mad at the universe for making you going through hardships when you just deserve flowers and happiness
He would rant with you about all of your frustrations, and putting everything out with him would help you a lot
At the end, you would both be laughing and you would feel so much more at ease

When he sees you, he would know immediately what's going on
He pays so much attention to you, and he knows you so well, that he just feels you are upset
He would calmly approach you and ask you what's wrong, while holding you lightly by your shoulders
He just stay in silence while you cry over his chest, waiting for you to calm down
When you tell him about your feelings, he would listen to you with great attention
And he would then comfort you with his caring and considerate words
He would also give you the best advices and insightful thoughts over your situation, and you would feel so much better, because he really understands you
Then he would make you a hot and comfy tea, and you would continue talking about everything you want to talk, until you're fully at peace
Youngjae
Youngjae would be like a lost puppy
He just follows his instincts and hugs you with all his strenght
He would ask you what happened and, as he sees you still need some time to cry a bit more, he says it's ok, and that he is there for you.
He keeps hugging you and occasionaly gives you some pecks on your cheeks
He also brings you a cozy blanket and gives you some water, so you can start talking about everything
You stay side by side on the couch, covered by the blanket, while you just spill all of your frustrations
He silently listens to you, and then gives you the best comfort words ever. He wants you to know that he is there for you, even if he can't much, and that you are a strong person.
At the end he would put so much effort into trying to distract you: by joking around, playing with Coco, cooking, singing, rapping, dancing. He just would do anything to see you smiling and laughing again.
Bambam
Bambam would go straight to you with his already trembling voice: "No no no no! What happened baby?"
He would be so so worried, already overthinking the whole situation
He just hugs you and tries to dry your tears
He would be extra affectionate and caring
Even before you explain him the reason of you crying, he would be already cheering you up, by complimenting you, saying that everything is ok, that you can count on him
You already feel a lot better with all his love and support, when you start to talk
He would listen to you, giving you understanding comments from time to time
After making sure you're ok, he would order your favorite foods, and you would talk and eat all night long, like real best friends
Yugyeom
Seeing you crying immediately inflicts Yugyeom's heart a great pain
He goes to you all worried, and a little lost and confused
He can't stand seeing you crying. His eyes would be shining too
He would sit beside you and would make you cry on his shoulder, while hugging you and asking what's wrong, in a really soft way
You would cry a little longer, but he would not push you into talking. He would wait, with his heart aching inside his chest
After you speak it up, he would have the sweetest and kindest words prepared for you
He would be supportive, no matter what, and you would feel that you can rely on him
To distract you a bit, he would take you to a night tour around the city. Maybe some stargazing, or some little ice cream date.

The night of November 5 the Sula valley was severely flooded by the overflows of various rivers, there are approximately 4 cities completely underwater and numerous small villages i can't even count. Even the airport of my city San Pedro Sula is underwater. Aproximately 300,000 families lost everything they had, there are hundreds of people going missing, our social medias are flooded with posts of people desperately searching for their family members since communication has been lost due to the floods and lanslides on roads. And almost 200 people have been found dead including drowned kids. Our indigenous people have lost all of their crops they live of. They have nothing left and up to this day there's still people trapped in the roofs of their homes waiting to be rescued. The government has abandoned us ever since covid came into our country. And literally we have no one, it's only us helping each other with what we have. Hundreds of hondurans have shown their golden heart by providing shelter to those who have nowhere to go and lost everything, you have no idea how much i've cried seeing how with the little we have, we've tried to help the most. This is a third world contry, victims of a narco state and a corrupted government, we have gone through so much, fought for too long for the justice we have never gotten. So please, spread awareness, i beg you to do so.
