The eternal hoops black women have to jump through when dating is wild. And it’s not even in the dating world, it’s the echo chamber of black men online and in person, who are intent on tearing down every black woman in their path. If you set standards, you’re uppity and think you’re too good. There’s no reason in their minds that you should be having standards, because you should be content with whatever man decides to choose you.

If you date outside your race, you’re an evil woman who hates her race and black men. Those same black men will tell you the man you choose only thinks of you as a fetish. They’ll even throw in slurs used against enslaved women just for kicks. All because you dared to find love that wasn’t a black man.

Then, as a cherry on top, they’ll wish intimate partner violence on you for daring to date outside your race.

It’s disgusting, and it’s a constant cycle. So yeah, I want all black women to shut out the noise of their male counterparts and just do whatever they want, because they don’t actually want any good for black women. Every option black women choose is fraught with negative opinions, so every black girl should just date and find love with whoever tf they want.
