In Saria’s right was a small paper bag decorated with bright, obnoxious colors. Inside was a decent amount of paper fluff hiding the small make up kit she’d gotten from Dossoles.

“Hmm? Oh, hey Saria-” The sudden appearance of the older woman was a bit of a surprise to Alena, who had been just wandering the halls of the Ark in-between her duties. But whatever greeting she had planed to say was cut off by the sight of the ‘cutely’ colored bag that Saria was holding. Her surprise quickly turned into the excited shock that only someone with a love of said make up brand could have.” “WHOA! WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?!” Alena was quick to cover her mouth as soon as she realized she was being far far to loud. “Sorry...I mean, just didn’t think that you could get something like that easily on this landship.”

Alena turned away and coughed to clear her throat while covering her mouth. That was the last thing she expected Popukar to ever say, so it had caught her off guard quite a bit! But despite that Alena would at least try to regain some level of composure before talking. “S-sorry, i should have been more careful drinking. But...um.....Miss Heidi is very pretty? But maybe you shouldn’t use that word to describe her. Not that its a bad word its just.....maybe a little to much to say to her directly? She would probably love to be called pretty though.”

I should point out that while Alena’s family was part of the nobility, it was more relating to the new class of cooperate nobility that rose to power after the first revaluation all those years ago. And while she could probably trace her family line to some minor nobility from the old aristocracy due to marriages and the like, her family’s power was mostly in the trade, manufacturing, and land ownership sectors within and around Chernobog. Though they could never really match the power that the Rostova or other major family’s had within the moving city or in influence over the Urus’s aristocracy. However her nobility and assets are not something that she can call on after the events of the fall of Chernobog. Given that most of her family ether met their ends at the hands of Reunion rioters or are otherwise MIA, Alena’s family was more or less written off as a loss. And with the destruction of Chernobog and whatever foreign assets they had ether being sold off by the empire or otherwise acquired in hostiles cooperate actions, Her family’s status as nobility became more or less in name only. And while its not to say that Alena doesn’t want to regain her family’s noble status some day and make her family proud of her. She just knows that its likely an unobtainable dream and focused on trying her best to survive the aftermath of the fall, though for her that meant moving into Lungmen and using her combat art training to get a start as an operator to earn at least a passing wage to survive. While rough and incredibly painful for her, Alena’s not going to give up just yet

Alena’s feelings towards the doctor are somewhat complex. And its mostly due to the limited information she has heard about Babel and though gossip about the doctors past and how they used to treat Mercenaries/Operators much like herself. It doesn’t paint the best picture in the end, but despite that Alena knows that the doctor has amnesia and is trying to better themselves compared to their past.  Alena won’t judge the doctor by comparing them to their past, because if she did she would consider herself a massive hypocrite due to what she and the aristocratic faction did while locked in that school. So! the best thing she can do for this situation is build up her own thoughts and feelings on the current doctor as best she can and form her own thoughts not mudded by the past nor gossip though first hand interactions with the doctor when she gets the chance to.
