If the characters could break through the fourth wall and say one thing to the player, what do you think they would say? (ㆁωㆁ)
That would actually be interesting. Here are a few ideas of what they might say based on what they know about MC so far (remember, Jester, Ticket Taker, and Doctor don’t know much about MC yet)
Pierrot: I knew I would find my way to you eventually, my dear. There is only a screen separating us now, and I will find a way to cross it.
Harlequin: Oh, so you have been playing with us this entire time? Just wait until I get to play with you in person~
Ticket Taker: So that is how it was… how you always seemed to know everything. I believe I could grow rather fond of such a mechanism.
Jester: So you truly do live in another world. Your reality gives me power… and it will be quite entertaining once I finally arrive there.
Doctor: So this is where you were hiding, sweetie? Once I cross that screen, I would very much like to study the changes your body undergoes within your reality.
Harlequin's Night Out (Harlequin x Reader) (!NSFW!)
A/N: I don't know how I haven't written any one-shots of Harlequin as a huge Harlequin fan, but this tweet… gave me ideas. Some people on TwXtter just have some of the best ideas ngl. Thankfully for you all, there's no part 1/2 in this one! I know some people will ask for a part 2 if I ended it on a cliffhanger like last time, so I figured that it should be a one and done.
Anyway enough with that, enjoy~! And thank you to @uruncannyfriend for the idea!!!

"Stay safe while getting home, alright?"
That was the voice of your boss, thoughtfully wishing you a safe walk home. This town carries very fishy events happening almost every day, anyway. And with all of these people going missing ever since the circus of horrors came to town, it's only increased. Even though you've been many times ever since you met the lovesick Pierrot, you still can't help but ponder, does the circus really have to do with all of these missing people?
The sky was as dark as the coal you would find in your stocking on Christmas day. There were small, daisy colored stars covered in its design. The moon kept the sky accompany, shining bright on the ground as if it were almost like a light bulb. The light wind gently kissed the weight of your face. It was always so peaceful at night. Except for tonight.
Your walk home tonight felt… off. Yes, it was normal as any other night, but you couldn't wrap your head on why this walk home felt so different. Maybe the weather? It does feel a little colder than usual.
No, it couldn't have been. The weather is always out of tune. It couldn't have been the fact it was so quiet either. You never know whether you'll hear a group of people partying, almost as if it was the last night of their lives. Maybe… you were being watched?
It would only make sense for you to feel watched. There's more and more people missing as the days go by, and those circus performers have always given you an eerie feeling. The acts are almost too real to feel like it was an act. Not to mention their behavior towards you specifically. What made you so special?
You stopped in your tracks to look around the area. Nothing. Nothing to be found. After catching a breath of relief, you continued to walk, despite the fact that you still felt like something was wrong. Your head was so wrapped up in your thoughts that you didn't even notice the footsteps approaching closer and closer. You suddenly felt arms wrapped around your torso.
"Goodness, dear one, what's got you so distressed this late at night?"
That soft, yet chilling voice was one you immediately recognized. It was the Harlequin. The one that's confused you more than any of the others. He's always so raunchy around you, especially when Pierrot wasn't around. Why is it that he acts so competitive to you? But, as much as you hated to admit it, you always enjoyed his company.
"Oh, n-nothing! Just… the weather is a little off," you quivered.
"Oh really? It seems just fine to me," Harlequin teased.
"Well-… I mean-… i-it's always unexpected, you know?"
"I suppose so. But… that's not why I'm here. I… have something to confess."
His voice started to quiver, and his grip grew stronger. He's never sounded so scared before. Unless, it wasn't fear that he was feeling. Instead, it could be arousal. At least, that's what you assumed.
You could feel his hands starting to reach down to your waist, and his head placed down on your shoulder as his voiced grew more and more shaky.
"I've… been thinking about you… a lot, actually. I can't stop thinking about your heartbeat… your moans… your body."
His hands now reached underneath your clothes.
"Oh… how I missed how warm it was~"
His voice growled, not in an aggressive way, but in an enticing way. He's never sounded this submissive before, even if it was short-lived. He's always been the dominant one to you, like you were the prey and he was the predator in a game of cat and mouse. You were trembling as he kept reaching into your clothes, but you didn't mind. His touch was always so magnetic to you.
"If you wish, I promise, I will make this night an unforgettable one~" he groaned, seductively.
For a few moments, it was silent, until you sighed, "Alright… but make it quick. I need to-"
Before you could finish your sentence, he pinned you to the nearest wall he could find. Your body ignited like a fresh bonfire. Your face was in the color of pedals on a rose. You've haven't been this turned on in so long. As much as the Harlequin was craving you, he knew that you desired this as much as he did.
He breathed, "There's no promises from me, darling… but I assure you, I'll make sure that we both will feel desired~ Now, turn around."
His pointer finger spun in a circle, as a way to command you to turn around, and you obeyed.
"Mmm… good."
You feel those "ropes" you remembered from your encounter with him in the tent slowly pulling down your pants.
"W-wait! Right now?!" you contested. "We're in public!"
"Shhh," Harlequin hushed at you. "I won't be able to do this any faster if you keep talking like that."
The "ropes" now gliding all over you. Wrapping around your legs, your torso, even your arms. It's like the Harlequin was making sure that you couldn't escape. You faintly hear what sounds like cloth. And somehow you knew, his bottom pair of clothing was being slipped off as well.
Right in that moment, something slimy reached right inside of you. It wasn't slimy like the "ropes." It was larger, and more durable. It moved at a fast pace, but not so fast as to where it would hurt, but fast enough to make your body tremble more than it already was. You breathed heavily, trying hard not to moan, and the Harlequin took notice of it.
He chuckled, "No need to hide those pretty screams from me, dear. I want to hear you shout my name, and make sure you let the world know that you belong to me."
The more seconds had past, the faster the Harlequin kept going. With each moment he was panting heavier and you were screaming louder. Your deafening screams were never out of torture, but out of solace. You didn't even try to break away from the "ropes." It may be too much, but it felt too good.
"Darling… I'm so close. Please, scream my name, I want to hear you calling for me~," Harlequin moaned.
Within seconds, you felt his supposed appendage reach inside of you as far as it could go, with a form of a liquid covering it, glazing inside of your fragile hole. The Harlequin let out a much deeper groan, and you screamed his name as if you were on a rollercoaster, going down the drop. The "ropes" slowly glided away from your touch. The length inside you swiftly was out of reach. The sounds of cloth had emerged once more. Not just from him, but also you, feeling pants slowly going back up right below your waist.
"Well, now, dear… as much as I would keep going, I know you have to go back home," he said. "I know you'll be back at the circus tomorrow, and we don't want you missing it~ Farewell, now~!"
His calm footsteps faded further and further from your ears, leaving you all alone in such an immense space. You turned around and scammed the area, with the Harlequin nowhere to be found. Your legs were shaken, but not enough to where you couldn't walk. It was embarrassing that he had such a quick session of fornication, but that was the least of your worries. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day, so it's best if you scurried back home. A nice, quiet slumber is all that matters to you right now anyway.

Harlequin and "The Freak Circus" belong to nekoboydreams! Here is a link to the original game (MINORS GO AWAY)!!!
Hi! I had a question that has been eating me up for the past few weeks and so I had to ask it. As Neko said before that every circus member is a yandere in some sense, I was curious if we would see any yandere tendencies from Harlequin in later days of the game. I was also curious to what everyone's secondary "dere" type would be if not yandere. (If that's hard to answer for Pierrot you don't have to.) But that's all from me! Take your time with the game and please take care of yourselves!
(Note from Neko: I don't understand to much about this deres, so I need to believe in Darth haha)
For those curious, here’s what we used for options and their descriptions!
Pierrot - Deredere
An overly affectionate character who is lovestruck and does not hide their romantic feelings towards their love interest. They experience intense feelings of romantic love for their love interest to the point that it is difficult for them to think of anything else except the person they love.
Harlequin - Kuudere Sadodere
A character who gains pleasure by toying with and teasing their love interest, but over time starts to show a cuter and more overly affectionate deredere side. They will lovingly talk down to their love interest or force them to do humiliating intimate acts because they enjoy the pleasure they get from having control over them and enjoy seeing their reactions.
Doctor - Dandere Kuudere
A character who initially acts cold, expressionless, and indifferent to hide their loving feelings, but becomes cute, lovey-dovey, and deredere around their love interest after getting closer to them. Although it might not appear like it at first, they are hiding a deep inner love that will come out after becoming close to their love interest.
Ticket Taker - Kurodere
A character who is deredere to their love interest but schemes and sets clever traps, within the bounds of common sense, in the background to get their love with them to develop faster. They are deredere towards their love interest but things aren't going the way they want so they think they would rather create schemes to make their love interest fall for them faster, without making their intentions known.
Jester - Kiridere… ish?
A term for a character who usually has a dignified, crisp, composed, and serious hardworking side in public, but suddenly becomes deredere and shows a more cute and overly affectionate side when they are alone with their love interest. They are serious and enthusiastic about their work and studies so they walk around with a strict composed and dignified posture and a sharp expression on their face which gives them an unapproachable atmosphere.
Fun fact: while Neko did originally intend for The Freak Circus to be a yandere game to some extent, he assumed people wouldn’t see it or enjoy it as one due to how different it is compared to others in the genre. He was very surprised to get the kind of positive feedback that people shared as it got popular in the community— it IS a yandere game and, like many pieces of media, they all explore their genre and tropes differently!
Because of this of course, neither he nor the mods are incredibly familiar with the ‘dere’ types beyond the most popular ones— and these are what we felt were the closest or most accurate! They are just for fun, they aren’t meant to be concrete designations— so yes, you guys can absolutely call Harlequin a tsundere if you like! XD
Take Ticket Taker and Jester with a grain of salt though, since they are very nuanced characters when it comes to affection, and therefore were extremely hard to categorize in a way that felt accurate for their personalities!
After some discussion and reading through some feedback, I (Darth) have amended the ‘dere’ types for Harlequin and Doctor since the new ones do fit them better! As for Ticket Taker and Jester though… those two are a bit harder to categorize due to their naturally distant or cautious nature, but we did our best with the options available (some of these options are so specific…)— and remember, these are for fun! :D
I do have a Twitter/X called "@/shortyabnormal" for any mature content (this being of them). It's not yet posted nor is it done, but feel free to peak there if you're curious for other content~
Only follow if you're 18 or older of course. Otherwise, don't interact.
Lately, I’ve been taking a lot of notes about the game’s backstory it kind of helps me keep the characters’ behavior consistent, if that makes sense to you. So I thought I’d share some fun facts!
About the circus travels:
Jester and Ticket Taker always keep an itinerary with the circus’s next stops (though they do take suggestions from the others). They’re the ones who handle most of the research. So, how does it work when the circus moves to a new place?
If they don’t speak the local language, they learn it. They spend some time just studying and observing the new culture before setting up the show, and each of them has a role in that process.
This is usually when they can stay in hotels/inns (which I mentioned before) to relax and do some field research.
Here’s what each one does in those first few days:
Jester has an incredible talent for languages. In the first days, he gathers books and newspapers to start learning before he passes it on to the others.
Ticket Taker visits local places in more casual clothes he learns best by observing and interacting.
The Doctor is usually the least seen in public, and if he goes out, it’s only at night. At first, he just wanders around the hotel and nearby areas until he’s familiar with the new environment.
Pierrot goes shopping for supplies, usually dressed casually, often accompanied by Ticket Taker or Harlequin.
Harlequin practically roams through the whole city. He enjoys watching the daily routine of the place and testing out what he can do before returning to the hotel.
I’m not sure if you guys enjoy these kinds of fun facts, but here they are.
