HEADCANONS ABOUT SURFER BOY BELOW:

I think it's quite obvious that I portray him as very laid back in my art but that's not really the full scope of how I see him. So I actually wanted to expand on his personality for once even though I'm more of a shower than a teller.

I've mentioned this before but In one of my asks I said that I head canon his name to be Taylor because I grew a liking to it but originally it was supposed to be either Eric or Derek. Eric because of the little mermaid and you know, the ocean and stuff, and Derek because it starts with d and Dee Dee also starts with a d.

I wanted to be Taylor and Dee Dee to be similar but have some differences, for example: while Dee Dee destroys Dexter's lab out of playfulness, Taylor destroys mandarks lab by pure accident, he doesn't mean to and sometimes doesn't realize he did it.

I also see him as really dumb to contrast with mandark like a nerd x jock thing and I see Taylor as really sporty and stuff. Taylor doesn't really care about mandark being evil or being rivals with one of his friends brother, he thinks it's cute so he just goes along with whatever mandark does and also in the future is his right hand man. (I'm making his ego trip design right now.)

Taylor also tends to hide his true emotions by being laid back when in fact he is quite emotional, especially around mandark. I liked the idea of Taylor having a crush on mandark instead of the opposite, it just felt funnier to me since mandark likes Dee Dee and they're both similar.

Taylor has a younger brother named leif which from my other post about taylor is one of dexter's friends ( this post) Taylor is like an annoying older brother to leif but he means well and is protective of him.
