hi friends
as with every incredibly exceptional situation in my life that's been connected to the traumatic events of my adolescence – so deeply etched into this website, i feel the need to bring up something important here, even though i haven't posted in a long time.
my chemical romance was the soundtrack to my crying, my saddest, red tainted episodes. when i believed nothing made sense, gerard sang to me i am not afraid to keep on living, i am not afraid to walk this world alone. so i kept walking, believing that had i to be here for a reason.
i think the purpose of staying alive was fulfilled this sunday.
seeing them live and singing those same songs at the top of my lungs was healing and cathartic.
thank you, my chem, from the bottom of my little scarred heart.
