  His scaly mouth curls upward into a smile, giving a brief shake of his head directed in response.

  Following his brief explanation, a laugh emits, rumbling. He rests his body down onto the ground, nestled into it with comfort, his wings flat to his body.

          ❝  no,  ❞  he replied, & took the rest of the kill in his jaws, chewed twice & swallowed.  he found such longings with himself as well.  & though used to his solitary lifestyle, it was a rare occurance to come across other of his kind.  ❝  what are you called, then ?  ❞

                    her eyes rose to take in this form, this magnificent creature that was her betrothed.  with the work he needed to do he had not the chance to take this form,and she had not pressed the issue.  still, a smile crept onto her lips as he spoke, voice booming with power.  “ a flight– ”  it had been too long since she’d been given the chance. “ that would be wonderful. ”

          eyes lit with flame watched her form, her features, for any reaction.  all others met this sight with FEAR, & he expected as such, but he didn’t wish for amiat to experience such an emotion.  this is what he truly was, & the human face was merely a ghost.  but as she replied with confidence & a smile, zahhāk felt his chest swell & mouth grin wide in some sort of reptilian smile.  he knelt closer to the floor, chest scales scraping the stone, allowing her access to his side, & snaked his head around to look at his bethrothed.  ❝  climb on.  ❞
