From his seat, Wakatoshi watches as his very pregnant wife waddles around the table — observing as she flits back and forth between the kitchen and the dining table. Despite his offers to help, she had shooed him away, demanding that he, “Sit! Sit!” so she could bring out dessert.
When she re-enters the dining room, proudly carrying a chocolate cake topped with strawberries, he smiles softly.
“Good job, baby. It looks really good.”

He nods, eating away at the cake. While Wakatoshi would typically be hard-pressed to eat 600 calories of pure chocolate, he had a hard time refusing his wife — even more so as the days creeped closer and closer her due date. He polishes plate, finishing it off with a bite of the strawberry.
