    The sarcastic words uttered out of his mouth irked her, but for now, she’d restrain from making a comeback. This was supposed to be a serious fucking moment. He wasn’t wrong (although she wouldn’t say that)– She knew she wasn’t the only one who wanted to escape. Shithara and Moomota always talked about finding the truth and positivism and all that mumbo-jumbo. It was a bunch of spewed words, but nonetheless, they did want the killings to stop. None of them aside from the supreme leader would know, but she did show hesitation towards trying to kill him.

    “F-Fuck you! I know, I know. God.. Fine. Keep your small mouth shut for a second and let me speak.” Apologizing in this regard wasn’t something she was so willing to do easily. However, time had passed and she was aware of what she did. Miu did try to kill someone (that someone being Ouma). She slowly lowered her head, eyes turning into a more soft glare as she spoke: “Here me out. I didn’t have any idea how else to do it. That shitty bear trapped us. I thought.. If I killed, I’d be able to leave. You don’t need to tell me twice, moron– I already know the others felt similar. I.. I-m sorry, okay?”

The supreme leader’s first answer to Miu’s apology, was just him staring at her. Really, he didn’t expect that to happen. Not only because he thought of her as a rather selfish person, but also because he didn’t even really feel like he deserved one for what he had done to her and Gonta. He was aware, that it was his job to apologize to her. Frankly, she wasn’t innocent in all of this still, but he ended up taking her life after all. After taking his while to progress what she just said, he opened his mouth, but at first there was no sound leaving him, he was still trying to reach for the right words to say. He knew what he wanted to say. Hell, he wanted to say it already for a long while, but saying it out loud was hard...

“Y’know, Iruma-chan... I could understand how you felt, even back then. And that’s not even a lie this time!” He admitted and to avoid eye contact while speaking the truth, he stared into his empty palm instead. “I mean, it was pretty hard to trust anyone back then, especially with the kind of idiots we had to deal with. And I can’t blame ya for distrusting a liar like me either!” It was maybe the first time ever, Kokichi talked to her without using any lies, insults or jokes. Of course he could still lie to her and say the game was fun, or that killing her was enjoyable to him. But really, he was so over that whole thing. It was time for a new game, one that was actually fun, and with that, he meant taking the new chance they got with arriving here. Still... being this open felt almost like being naked to a liar like him though. That’s why he wanted to get it over quickly. 

“Listen, I forgive you, talking about the same stuff over and over again gets boring anyways, so let’s just forget about it, okay? Oh and one more thing: I’m sorry, too.” A pause. Finally it was out, but did it sound sincere? He hoped it would, because it was. But trying to convey these things really wasn’t anything he was skilled at. “Using Gonta and you like that wasn’t even entertaining, y’know! The only one I really wanted to crush, were those annyoing Monokubs and Monokuma, but if you’re not a complete idiot, you already knew that, right?” After all, he did ask her to assemble all these weapons to take any kind of machine out. Kind of ironic that their ‘teamwork’ lead them to what happened in the end. Maybe even that was planned by the mastermind. A part inside of Kokichi really still seeked revenge towards them, but it wasn’t like he had any chance to do that here. So he just stretched his arms out and shrugged with a bitter smile. “Hahaha... In the end either of us got what we wanted, huh?”

    Some time had passed since Miu last spoke to Ouma. On their first conversation, the inventor had demanded an apology from it. Much to her dismay, she didn’t get that. Rather, he twisted it around and made her ponder about her own controversies. While she was still greatly annoyed that he had killed her, the blonde was hardly an innocent bystander. The whole ordeal had occurred because Miu was the one originally plotting a murder. Was it wrong to target someone as smart as her? Probably. Yeah, she remembered. She wasn’t dumb. Getting her to acknowledge her own mistakes wasn’t easy.

    “I’m fucking asking you that because you did hurt me, Oumoron! Duh! You.. remember our last conversation, right? Y-You said I was living in a delusion.” Half of his words still felt like bullshit, but he wasn’t completely wrong. Fuck.. Was he really going to make her apologize first? It’s true that she may have made an error, but Ouma was hardly in the clear himself. “F-Fine. There.. might have been a tiny flaw in my plan back then. L-Listen up.. You should already know that I wanted to escape. What fucking choice did I have? So, uh.. Yeah. Your turn!” Miu had never truly hated him nor did she want to kill him. That wasn’t how she felt. It was all in the circumstances.

If he was honest, he really was surprisded that the inventor approached him about that at all. His words had more of an effect on her than he thought they would! Maybe she really was capable of deeper thinking about things that aren’t related her inventions after all. Really, it was a big step and it impressed him too. But it was a given that he wouldn’t make it easy for her. Nothing ever was easy with Kokichi...

“Really? You wanted to escape? Damn, you must have been the only one feeling like that back then. Why didn’t you just say so? Of course this excuses your plan to murder everyone for your own selfish desires and needs!” Every word he spoke was filled with sarcasm and surely Miu could tell, However, he also wanted to throw her a bone for actually approaching him to get a closure to all of this. “My turn to... what? Was that supposed to be an... apology? It totally didn’t sound like one! You can do better than that, Iruma-chan!”

“… but what exactly do you want me to stop with?” Seriously there were so many possible answers to this that he genuinely didn’t know. Was it his lies, pranks, or his usual messing around? No matter what Blake meant though, it’s unlikely she could make him stop with just commanding it anyways.

That was an interesting accusation. From Miu Iruma no less, didn’t she basically ask to be insulted with her whole personality and behavior she had? And did that really count as hurting her? Or was this an actual serious question about the incident that happened back in the killing game…?

“Ohhh! Wouldn’t you like to know? Maybe it does, buuut it probably doesn’t! And we both know, that I could never get a kick out of it like you do, Iruma-chan! How come you’re asking me this all of the sudden though?” Usually he wouldn’t ask for the why to such a stupid question, but it’s been a while since they last talked. In fact, the last time they did, was when they both first arrived here.

    His demeanor certainly changed quickly, but it wasn’t anything unusual for him. The way he was talking down on her plan, implying it was doomed to failure was something that bothered her. What the fuck would he know about the thoughts in her mind? Truthfully she didn’t want to kill him. Miu wasn’t that kind of person. She didn’t want to kill anyone. Monokuma made the situation inescapable unless someone were to commit a crime and get away with it. There were three cases before hers– With a genius like Miu working behind the scenes, her plan wouldn’t end as shitty as theirs (or so she thought).

    The surge of insults resulted in the inventor retorting into her timid persona, bringing her hands closer to her chest as a bead of sweat fell off her face. “Hiyehh..!! F.. Fuck you..!” Her initial response was short– Not because she was rendered speechless, but because of the sudden bombardment of remarks. Sure, Miu wasn’t completely in the right in that situation. However, neither was Ouma. There was no way she was going to completely apologize unless he acknowledged his wrongdoings. Clearly, her earlier approach wasn’t going to work.

    “I..I’m not getting down on my knees..!! B-Besides, the ground is fucking icy. I’m not slipping for your sorry ass.” She was about to make a joke about falling in front of someone looking as hot as she did, but she bit her tongue to stop herself. No, now isn’t the time for that shit. “F-Fine. I’m.. not saying my plan was perfect. I mean.. It was close to it, but you know! I had a little.. miscalculation. So what? You’re the one who fucking committed the crime in the end! My hands are as clean as unstained snow.”

“Shut your filthy mouth, you sow!” He grumbled that in a lower voice than usual, which showed already, how done he was with her lame excuses. “Fine, you know what? Blame it all on the bad guy over here. An evil guy like me is perfect to pin all the blame and your personal guilt on, isn’t that what you’re trying to do? If it makes you feel better living in delusion like this, then go for it! Too bad I really don’t give a shit about what you think or do, huh?” Of course he most likely could force her to go on her knees still, if he really wanted to, but that wouldn’t even be fun to someone like him right now. 

Before he turned his back on her to get ready to leave, one of his famous fake smiles appeared back on his face, and it was like he didn’t got mad at her secounds before.

“You better behave yourself from now on though, trust me. There are people here that seem to be super freaks. And I mean that in a dangerous Monokuma kind of way....” He already saw some people being able to use weapons here, or even some talking about supernatural powers and stuff too. Really, “normal” humans like them, should be better careful about who to trust here too.  “I’m sure you could suffer a way worse death here, than strangulation by toilet paper. So, if you don’t wanna die again, just make sure not to open your mouth and release your nasty squid breath towards anyone you don’t know. Buuut, that was just an advice from me, take it or not, I don’t really care!~” 

Even though he wanted to believe that, it was a lie. Kokichi really didn’t want her to die again. He didn’t want to see anyone dying again. They aren’t in a killing game here, and even though this place looks like a boring wasteland, it still was an upgrade to the killing game enviroment they were stuck in before. Sadly the inventor couldn’t know any of that though, and he just started to walk away after finished talking too.

Come on, now this was an awkward situation. Strangely for Kaito, he didn’t know what to say to Ouma. The last time they spoke wasn’t exactly with uplifting circumstances. It was a complicated but kinda brilliant plan that he had created. Everything was done to the detail, even telling Kaito what to say in certain situations. Even though he was so planned out, the result had not been in their favor. Well, Kaito had a different perspective on the situation that him. He was the one that had to live through the trial, the one that had to see their expressions, the one that was sent off. Ouma probably didn’t know that though, at least that’s what Kaito was guessing. Oh man, his last thoughts were probably when that happened. 

Those are some depressing thoughts, bringing down his own mood before even opening his mouth. He can’t let this keeping him down, there’s nothing he can do to change it anyways. At least they were alright, that’s what he assumed anyways. Can’t be so negative all the time anyways! Kaito wasn’t planning on mentioning the topic if the other didn’t. 

He sat down besides him, squinting at the sky in disappointment. “Don’t be ridiculous, it doesn’t do stuff like that!” Since when do goatees act as a heat source? “I’ve got a telescope which mean I’m not giving up until I see them! You can’t just hide the stars!”

“Well, maybe if you can get the materials and can bribe Iruma-chan to build you a rocket ship, I’d get rid of you once again, nee-heehee, I’m just kidding! I love hanging out with you like this, Momota-chan!” Was it a lie or not? Honestly, Kokichi wasn’t too sure about that one himself, even though his main object was still to tease him.

“Talking about that, y’know. Since she’s here, and I am too, I figured already that you also died... Did you get executed by Monokuma?” It was just a guess, but he and Miu definitely died back then,so to Kokichi, this place was some weird afterlife business. At least that was the only way, how anything of this place and situation made any sense to him. Which is also how he came to his next guess: “Not that I expected much from an idiot like you anyways, but just to make sure, you messed up my birlliant plan, didn’t you? Did you get sentimental and started confess the whole truth to your best buddy Saihara-chan, in the middle of the trial?” 

He knew that there was a chance for the detective figuring it all out, but his plan really depended a lot on Kaito’s acting skills, he even wrote him a detailed notebook... But even the supreme leader knew, that there was only so much Kaito could do. And he also wasn’t even mad at him or anything like that, surprisingly. Or at least not yet. The liar first wanted to know how it went for now, before figuring out how he was supposed to feel about all of this.

“Hahaha, oops, guess you got me there!” He admitted, of course he wasn’t serious about the bestie thing, but pretending to be over familiar did already work on some people before, so it was worth a try, right?

    In Iruma’s eyes, Ouma seemed to show no signs of guilt. Even the words he uttered seemed to show nothing hinting of the sort. It made her very annoyed and someone like him would certainly be able to see that (not that Iruma had any intention of hiding her emotions). Rather, she was very expressive of how she felt. She wasn’t an idiot– She could sense the sarcasm in his voice. What the fuck? Honestly, he should have been getting down on his knees right about now and begging for her forgiveness. After all, he was the reason she got killed in the first place. Blue, icy irises squinted at the shorter male, huffing at his response: “The fuck? This is nothing like the genius simulation I created. If anything, the virtual world was much better than this shit hole. Did you forget already with your pea-sized brain?”

    There’s no way she would say otherwise– To her, Iruma’s plan had seemed flawless. She had worked it out perfectly to pin the crime on someone else. The cell phone she rigged, the distortion of the map.. Hell, even planting the poision on Ouma’s seat in the real world was all perfectly aligned. Meeting Ouma on the rooftop was where her genius plan went into shambles. That moment would forever be engraved into the inventor’s mind. It was a surprise attack as the inventor fought for survival, reaching her arm out to Ouma as a means of showing her desperation. Yet, he turned a blind eye and let her die. Out of the remaining survivors at the time, Iruma had the most brains. She was the Ultimate Inventor. It made her feel a sense of betrayal, something she already had rooted issues with. “How have I been? That’s all you have to say, Oumoron? Do you realize how fucking weird this is? It’s not normally possible for a fucking dead person to come back to life– Obviously I was meant to live. So.. I’m waiting.” With that, she tapped her foot on the ground impatiently and stared directly at the supreme leader. “Come on. Apologize already. Admit your goddamn mistakes.” Of course, from Ouma, that was no simple feat.

Even though the inventor really went on about some narcisstic BS in his eyes, he continued listening to her, with his usual calm smile. He even chuckled silently, after she described her cursed simulation as ‘genius’. And with time the liar started to wonder: If he wouldn’t stop her now, how much more nonsense would leave her filthy mouth? Kokichi knew Miu’s motives already, he knew she couldn’t trust anyone back in the killing game, and honestly, especially he could relate to that a lot. He even sympathized with her for that. The supreme leader never hated her, despite the way they talked to each other. And if he was honest, he never wanted to see her die either. That was how he truly felt. After all, he really didn’t want anyone to die back then. Not like this was known by anyone though. And still, even if he understands why she did attempt to backstab him like that, he still wasn’t completely over it either yet This all could have been easily avoided! “What do you want me to apologize for exactly, huh? Huuh? You should tell me, c’mon Iruma-chan, spell it out for me! Or should I guess?” Finally his calm smiling expression changed into a more provoked laugh, and his voice started to sound more aggressive too.

“Is it for defending myself? For outmsarting your stupid ass plan? Or for stopping you from taking not only me down, but everyone else with me, right after?” He had to admit, that was little more emotional than he intended to present himself in front of her, but her demanding way from before, just really pissed him off. Of course he felt guilty, he was plagued by guilt after it all happened, not only because of her, but because of what happaned to Gonta too. But he also was too much aware of the fact, that he never had to prepare this cruel plan of his in the first place, if it wasn’t for her selfish act. “How about you go down on your knees and apologize to me instead, you stupid cunt!”
