Tokka week day 4: Duty

I won't let you die while I'm on duty. Even if it means my life.

This is what Toph told Sokka before they left on the trip for an important diplomatic meeting. Toph had a bad feeling about letting Sokka go with just some bodyguards, so she decides to go with him. On the way there, they get ambushed by assassins sent by politicians wanting to prevent the meeting. They aim directly for Sokka. Toph makes it just in time to save him, but not herself.

I know this is highly unlikely since Toph wouldn't get herself killed off so easily... and this is kind of cliche... but I like the Tokka angst.

((Lin is toph's daughter and she likes Tenzin...but Tenzin is Aang and Katara's daughter... Lin can't like Tenzin cause they're cousins!!! So how does that work out?))

(( akdhdhskdh no anon no please not that just not that //sobIt's just that I saw so much of that in the tokka tag it hurts ;_____;But I've got a headcannon for you (that I got from my bestie uwu) Since Toph seems like the strong single mom type..she had Lin with somebody else, but he left her so she had to raise Lin all by herself. And then she got together with Sokka, because Suki dies young and there's a lot of angst ajdhsgh Toph comforts him and they end up falling in loveeeee...Sorry I rambled on but yeahThere's my thought on the Tokka/Linzin topic ; u ; ))
