The New Name
I thought for a long while about what changes I could make to his name: "Prism White". The "White" was always temporary and definitely had a lack of imagination so I was looking to either change that to another English word OR change his entire name into Japanese like other UTAU do. I ended up deciding on Prism Burst. I thought of it as a metaphor. He is the prism, the light going through it is music, and together they make a colorful rainbow. The white was symbolic of the lack of color and untapped potential. I decided on replacing it with Burst because this new design and (not as new) VCV voicebank felt as though his potential was bursting out.
Design Changes
I wanted Prism to have a more interesting outfit, especially to fit his name. The old outfits were simple and I noticed I had fun dressing him in other more colorful and detailed costumes. I made a few notes on specific aspects I would like to point out.
I incorporated a simple three color rainbow to fit his name.
I cut his fringes previously, but decided to redo his hair to look more interesting.
A one-eared headphone was added to give a musical vibe.
Finger gloves are my favorite. I have to say one of Kashiyuka's outfits in the Secret Secret music video inspired this.
Prism has a semi-formal appearance which suits his personality.
He now wears boots instead of high-top converse, but he still has the platform aspect.
Let's take a moment to acknowledge the improvement in my art. It may not be perfect, but compared to my earliest posts where I was learning how to use a drawing tablet, I am quite happy with this.
And finally I will say that I am abandoning his MMD model because of the design difference. I don't wish to make another, but it was fun experimenting it before.

Personality & Facts:
Prism is shy, especially with new people. He absolutely hates eye contact. It makes him feel awkward and a bit uncomfortable so he usually lets his eyes wander anywhere there isn't people.
He rarely smiles, but that does not necessarily mean he is unhappy. He has trouble expressing emotion with facial expressions.
Of course Prism loves to sing, but that is not the only thing he enjoys when performing new songs. He loves to dress up in interesting costumes. Video versions of his covers let him show off these outfits.
Listening to other Vocaloid and UTAUloids fills Prism both with inspiration and a tinge of jealousy. This combination drives Prism to work harder on his singing skills.
Prism lacks confidence in his current singing skills. He keeps his doubt to himself and doesn't wish to express these feelings to anyone.
He loves to read science facts and discoveries. Having his mind being blown by new, interesting information is one of his favorite feelings.
Though inconvenient, Prism braids the long hair on the sides of his fringes around his head and over his headphones every morning. He eventually obtained custom single-eared, wireless headphones with a fitting headband.
Prism often eats snacks in place of meals. By choice, he substitutes cooking with a box of torrones, a bag of honey pretzels, etc. Occasionally, he will have a healthy meal to try to make up for this.
Prism is polite to everyone. He is afraid of hurting anyone's feelings and enjoys seeing people happy. Others' optimism and happiness always rub off on him.
Those are all the updates. I had fun improving Prism's design! Because the holidays are coming up followed by another semester of school, I probably won't be updating Prism with another song. However, I will definitely take asks! Please send Prism asks or comments here.))

((I haven’t made one, but I considered it in the past. Some utau wikis seemed more formal than others and I decided I wasn’t ready to release him/put him on a wiki because I’m always thinking of ways I can change Prism like in design or voice.
I guess I’d have to be more comfortable with the “end result” of his voice/design before I would make a page, but it’s possible that someday he’ll get one (especially now that I know someone is interested in seeing a page for him).
Mod’s sketch of my future singing partner, Optic. Its voice is not close to being completed, but mod wanted to share concept art ahead of time. I think I'm fond of it.
My VCV voicebank won’t be completely done for a while, but in the meantime, I will work on it one song at a time. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer.
((@oatspeckled requested that Game of Life be the last cover CV Prism will (probably) do and here it is- OC PV edition. I tried to match up my OCs with each part as best as I could. It’s the thought that counts. Now, we shall hope all goes well and the next video will be with VCV Prism.))
((There are a few things to mention in this update such as upcoming projects and other exciting things.
The first thing I must mention is that Prism will be taking asks. Because it is summer, Prism will be able to answer asks in a relatively fast manner. He is very happy to receive asks so please try to send some!
Secondly, Prism will be getting a new voice. I have been wanting to make changes to his design and what he sounds like and I thought the best option would be to record a whole new voicebank and simultaneously come out with a new design and reference.
Instead of CV, Prism’s new voice will be in VCV style so that he sounds more realistic. I am already in the process of making it and am 1/4th done IF everything goes well and I will not have to redo any part. I will be making one more CV cover and video for Prism with a requested song though.
On a similar note, I have always wanted a duet partner for Prism, but never took serious time to make a decent one until now. I am currently planning another character specifically for Prism to duet with and, because VCV is torture and there is a lot of commitment, it will be in CV style. And BECAUSE CV sounds more robotic, this character will most likely be a cute robot sidekick. I am not one hundred percent sure about how it will turn out, so let us hope for the best.
Lastly, I am starting to make an MMD model for Prism which is something I wanted to attempt for a while. It is not entirely… perfect. He is just a mess honestly. However, I am still working on it and if I can fix some problems, then great. If not, well, it was worth a try.

Those are all of the Prism Projects I am working on so far. There are no specific due dates for these projects, but Prism will be posting every other Friday this summer.
