You know I surprised myself by drawing this piece, I’ve never really liked Sumire. And I mean this whole-heartedly, I’ve discussed my issues on how she is no different than her Kasumi portrayal before-multiple times honestly. Her character irritates me, her place, her EVERYTHING is just wasted potential. BUT! When she began talking about Kasumi, I genuinely liked her in that moment during her social link. It felt like the real Sumire, the Sumire I wanted to see. Of course she was reverted back to her Kasumi portrayal afterwards and is just baited into being the “canon” wife.   When I see people talking about Sumire, I see it as them talking about her Kasumi portrayal, not Sumire herself. Her character is left as “innocent top tier waifu”, when it could’ve been so much more! You never really get a clear picture as to who Kasumi is because she is either babied by the fanbase (honestly rightfully so) or the fact is that she is no different than her Kasumi portrayal. Alas, these are my opinions and thoughts. :) back into the void know as classes <333
