                                                   ❛    THANKS  FOR  THE  MEAL,  MASTER!    ❜     the  smell  is  the  first  thing  to  hit  his  nose  --  a  KEEN  smell,  something  boruto  could  smell  MILES  away;  a  taste  he  craved  more  then  anything.  a  fresh,  flame  grilled  burger  supreme.  veggies,  sauce  --  a  truly  messy  burger  yet  it  was  nothing  more  then  PERFECTION  wrapped  around  his  hands.  almost  too  big  to  hold,  as  small  his  palms  were.  unconsciously,  his  tongue  sticks  out  the  corner  of  his  mouth  as  he  carefully  unwraps  it  like  a  gift  on  christmas  morning;  teeth  BEGGING  to  sink  into  the  soft  bun.

                                          ❛    I  THINK  THAT’S  THE  LAST  OF  IT,  what  now,  sakura-san?    ❜    he  wipes  the  sweat  from  his  brow,  looking  rather  confident  that  he  could  carry  more  if  asked  --  yet  those  boxes,  whatever  was  in  them,  was  HEAVY;  he  could  feel  his  arms  shake  slightly  from  the  weight  &  boruto  was  rather  GLAD  he  had  finished  with  it.  stepping  away  as  he  decides  to  push  the  last  box  into  place,  he  hears  a  clang  --  thinking  inside  is  probably  medical  equipment.

                                                 ❛    THAT’S  ---  ....  kinda  nasty,  ‘ttebasa..    ❜    he  squints  as  the  other  simply  EMERGES  out  of  a  small  glass  --  boruto  himself,  having  had  the  thought  to  almost  be  careless  enough  to  DRINK  from  it  ---  rather  glad  now  that  he’d  decided  against  it.  considering  it  contained  a  HUMAN  body.  it  you  could  even  call  that  human.  watching  the  other  carefully,  boruto  tilts  his  head  trying  to  think  of  where  he’s  seen  this  man  before.

                                            ❛   HEY--  THIS  IS  MY  HIDING  PLACE,  get  your  own  ‘ttebasa!     ❜   he  speaks  harshly,  yet  it’s  rather  hushed  as  he  tries  not  to  give  HIMSELF  away.  a  pass  time  he  &  the  boys  liked  to  play  was  HIDE&SEEK  --  yet  this  time  the  girls  joined  in  (  MORE  LIKE  FORCED  THEIR  WAY  IN  )  boruto  sighing  to  himself.  not  that  he  really  minded,  deep  down.  it  just  made  for  a  more  complex  game  --  a  challenge  he  GLADLY  accepted.

                                             ❛    I’VE  HEARD  SOME  THINGS  FROM  MY  MOM,  but  i  was  wondering  if  you  could  tell  me  more  about  how  my  dad  was  as  a  kid,  master.    ❜    they’d  only  just  sat  down  for  a  break  --  boruto’s  breath  was  HEAVY  as  he  threw  back  his  head  to  chug  water  from  a  plastic  bottle.  thinking  of  how  good  it  felt  to  have  the  cold  water  rush  down  his  throat,  revitalized.  putting  it  down,  the  blond  looks  back  at  the  other  --  his  blank  face  held  SO  MANY  SECRETS.  one’s  boruto  BEGGED  to  find.

                                                              HOW  MUCH  TIME  HAD  PASSED  SINCE  BORUTO  SAT  ALONGSIDE  HIM  UNDER  THE  TREE,  the  sun  now  passing  over  the  hill  &  slowly  DARKNESS  clouded  the  sky.  stars  peeking  out  from  the  once  blue  blanket,  now  to  kiss  the  skyline  with  their  small  lights.  boruto’s  eyes  watched  heavily  as  the  sun  left  them,  only  to  turn  back  to  his  friend;  a  smile  wide  on  his  face.

                  ❛    ne,  wanna  grab  somethin’  to  eat  before  we  go  home?  it’s  been  a  while  since  we  hung  out  together  ‘ttebasa!    ❜
