2026 Cringetober BTD/YMKET/TPOF

Hello! I want to put together a Cringetober for the BTD Fandom! I'd like to open the door for suggestions for what the prompts would be! I'd like to have the prompt list out by mid July! I confess, I'm not sure what counts as cringe anymore.

I'll keep track of the prompts here (and later post again when the prompt list is full) I'll add as I think of new ideas. I'll credit users who give ideas:

So, I noticed that a lot of people think that Ren got absolutely everything he wanted from Strade, and he was practically never denied anything.

I don't know if this is canon or not, but for some reason I don't think this is true. I mean, Strade doesn't seem like the type of person who would spoil you, or at least do it very often. Bubble baths are not an argument haha.

So, I think Ren didn't have much, and when he became Fox, he was looking for a lot of money so he could actually get what he wanted and be independent. What do you think?

I agree. Strade wouldn't just buy $300 anime figurines every other day. He's strategic about his gift giving: he does it often enough to elicit some feeling of owing him and placation. It causes such a complex, bad feeling that most people would get caught off guard and ergo are less likely to fight back.

But I think Fox is a very indulgent guy. Of course, as he got older he likely understood the value of things and money better than when he was younger and more impulsive. But, he's survived long enough and now he's economically stable. And it feels better for him now, because he's the one buying! He has a job, yes, but that's all it is.

hi? oh.. i need to tell someone about what happened to me, and I think the best place would be this blog, if i understand everything correctly.

i found out about btd about 2 years ago, played it and i remember having mixed feelings - something like it's really disgusting, but also addictive (honestly, even now i think the same, lol). i always really liked ren, and when ykmet came out, i was thrilled because his appearance and character were reworked so well. i don't know what happened to me, but at some point i decided to replay the game myself and did it for a VERY long time, lol, and i developed a small fixation with ren.

the thing is, I've never had sex before and I was unsure if anything turns me on at all (even though I'm quite an adult), and then I accidentally had an erotic dream about a ren that involved my fetish, and damn… everything's been upside down since then? I still feel awkward because the first thing that turned me on so strongly wasn't a real person, I'm literally a fox character… has anyone else felt this way? am I really that bad? hahaha

My two cents: we often use fantasy to explore or interact with parts of ourselves we're curious about. It's normal for some people to not feel sexual attraction most of the time, then also sometimes feel it. The human mind is a bit of a fun thing in that way. Some asexual people like the idea of sex but don't want to actually have sex. I'm not trying to label your sexuality (as that's a very internal matter), just offering my thoughts.

Personally? I don't feel the pull to have sex, I'm not even sure if I ever want to. And I'm okay with that. However, I loooooove thinking about fucking that fox.

A lot of people like dark fiction because of that excitement factor. Some people like the taboo parts. I say as long as you're not hurting anyone and it won't lead to anyone getting hurt, don't worry! :3

I don't want to bring Fandom drama onto this blog, but I made it so people could talk about issues in a safe and constructive manner. I've heard...
