Having spent the evening after the British Grand Prix picking up litter with his fans from the Silverstone Grandstands, Sebastian went today to the Grundon Waste Management facilities in Slough to see how waste recycling is managed. He saw also how certain products that can’t be recycled are incinerated. Sebastian was happy that the litter didn’t end up as landfill

Just saw a TikTok that kicked some things in my brain.

BF called me twice today and I didn’t answer (was working/in middle of conversation). He left a voicemail after the second call. My stomach sank. I had cold chills. I didn’t want to listen to it. He was going to be angry with me. It was just going to be him ranting at me about how awful I am. How dare I not answer his call.

I went outside and listened to it. It was him checking I was okay after the previous text I sent where I had sounded quite distressed. I called him back, he wanted to be there for me. To listen to me, to be kind and offer support and love.

Anyways that’s a learned response from being raised by a sole abusive parent that I didn’t realise. That’s….interesting, huh.
