It's not an ability per se. It was a force of mutation, with another being. I only say it's a ability a long time ago because I was supposed to plan it as a haux, but idk how to leave clues for that.
Her mutation allows her to change her form most of the time, whether it would be a blob, mold, structural being, little things that are too small to see that can be separated, she can imitate people's appearance. They can be as translucent or opaque. She would make different forms at different times, so that people won't know it's the same being messing with them.
But sometimes, if necessary her forms will be viewed different by people's subconscious and current state of mind, so that to further the process of vulnerability into people.
it's what I initially planned to do yet I'm out of creative juice and motivation easily so I just stayed with the main one.
She is a contagious being who can infect anyone in her 7 meter vicinity. When she infects, it would be through direct contact or airborne spores.
That is what it led to her going into people's minds. When she goes to people's minds, she would rewired it, in any case it would be distorting a memory, changing of mindset, changing the function of the person, disrupt their important parts of the brain to make them forget to breath.
While she could manipulate people's minds, she would manipulate their other body parts, stretch their limbs that is bigger and more flesh hardened, reformed their structure that would fit into the situation. If you seen the adaptions of Parasyte (manga, anime, live action, kdrama) it would be like that.
She would force people to mix together like conjoint twins.
Due to their awareness of their being. and what stages they are in, the infected would incline to be more hungry, more sluggish, more inhuman like and more subconsciously follow Niyuki's orders, even they don't know who is Niyuki at hand.
