What are my favourite mascaras? We are all looking for the perfect mascara, one that adds length, volume, holds a curl, doesn't flake and doesn't clump. Does it exist? (From left to right) Maybelline XXL PRO extensions: This one is a duo mascara, there is the white primer and the black mascara. You can use the black mascara on its own, but paired with the white primer, you'll have longer, thicker and fuller looking lashes. It holds a curl, it doesn't flake or run. The formula seems to get better and better the longer you use it for. It doesn't ever seem to run out, but when its a little dryer, it works even better! MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash: Oh. My. Lord. So this is what I'm wearing in the top picture. I have a problem with little flat lashes that don't have any natural curl, they stick straight down and look gloomy and sloppy. I didn't even curl my lashes! I just applied 3 easy coats of this puppy. It's definitely one of my number ones. Maybelline lash STILETTO waterproof: This is for those of you with short, stumpy lashes. It adds a whole lot of length, not so great in the volume department, though. For the best effect, curl your lashes before using. It will hold a curl perfectly. If you need volume as well as length, apply a quick coat of a volumising mascara afterwards. Loreal Volume Million Lashes: The tube is looking a little worse for wear, but you can just see how much I loved this. I need to repurchase this immediately, volume million sounds about right, my lashes have never been so full. Watch out for water and sweat though, one touch of water and it'll be all over your face. Love Alpha Transplanting Gel: So this came in a set, but I've lost the other part to it. It came in a cute sunglasses case with the transplanting gel and those little fibres that you apply afterwards, literally adding tiny little hairs onto the ends of your lashes. The transplanting gel is literally just a mascara, but it works great in the set. It does look like you're wearing false lashes, without the 'false' part because you can't even tell! Benefit THEY'RE REAL! : I only had the travel size of this baby, and I lost it after a week of having it. I cried legitimate tears of sorrow. This mascara... It says on the packaging that it's a 'beyond' mascara, and while I don't know what that means that's also the perfect way to describe it. It gives fuller, thicker, longer lashes, if holds a curl, it doesn't clump but it isn't a super wet formula. If you're looking for the 'perfect mascara' that we talked about earlier, I'd be inclined to say that this is it!
