i didn't like how i asked my last question bro so i decided to re word. how do you find inspiration and motivation to create at this point? and do you ever feel disappointed in the things you create or have created in the past? if so how do you progress beyond those feelings.
habitualize inspiration, the sooner you can move passed thinking of inspiration as something that happens to you, the better you will be for it. inspiration is the blue orb to the right of the red orb that is your health meter, they should always be full. making art is a lot more tending to those orbs than anything else.disappointment in a creation is ego also something to be left behind.evaluating the work is not your jobcreating the work isdo not confuse these two dutieswhen you are content with yourself, honest with yourself, genuine with your way of being, there will be no room for disappointment in the work. the process reflects you at all timesoften i remind myself the audience is by happenstance.it has always been you and your standardsnothing else. you know yourself and your standards innately.not much to think about there.and of course, have faith in the off periods. if you really cannot stand whatever you’ve been making, it could be time to take a break, to let yourself enjoy some art for awhile instead of appraising it constantly. when you are back in the headspace of someone who can be appreciative, you will create more fluidly.
