A couple days ago someone asked one of those generative ai engines a question mid-conversation with me and they regurgitated the nakedly incorrect answer the ai shat out in complete sincerity, this is the first time I've personally experienced this and it made me want to do some Sarah Connor T2 shit, we're accelerating the destruction of our planet so people with econ degrees can pretend to have a socratic dialogue with google
