Lily lives in a midwestern corn town with her foster mother and sister! Think like, Stephen King-esque smol mysterious town with DEFINITELY something in the corn (something that stalks among the rows eh eh?).
Though Lily loves the small town life, due to only living there since she was 7, and because she's albino w/ weird heterochromia, she was considered an outcast, and therefor grew up quite lonely and isolated, and her only friend outside of her family would be the town's *other* outcast, a girl, Tanya, two years older that her the rest of the town considered a witch. (though it was v one-sided bcs even if Tanya was not a witch, she was certainly something else that rhymes with that word //SLAPPED)
She definitely prefers smaller, rural, towns, both for their quiet, and because there's *way more bugs to be found give her all the bugs*, though cityscapes are way more fun an environment for freestyle parkouring!!
And yes she has an accent and unironically says stuff like "y'all'd've"
(her biological family lives in a more lovecraft vibe new england coastal woodland town, which is ALSO entirely up Lily's alley)

Technically they'd allow her many things, both for battle or stealth
but bcs she has 0 control over it she often ends up power incontinence situations like this, like getting stuck in her full shadow form unable to turn back or communicate with those around her :)

✨ How did you come up with the OC's name?
I originally named her "Moonlight" (bcs she was very moonthemed), and eventually gave her the nickname "Lilly". During a multitude of character revisions (all within like 2 years of making her), I dropped her original full name, as well as one the L's.
Her current full name, "Lilium", comes from the Elfen Lied OP |D

She's 20/21 ish~ Her birthday is on June 29th, but I keep her age pretty static rn.

I feel like i described her loves two questions ago, though she does really like vibin w/ Nicki. drabbling down some story ideas while Nicki plays some chords on her guitar.
She quite dislikes having to do anything with her biological family though. Not for any reason to do with them, she just doesnt know them?? And she's annoyed by suddenly having to reconnect with them. It's to figure out why she suddenly has Shadow Powers:tm:

Once when she was twelve, a friend mentioned that she taught there was a monster in the corn fields. Lily, 0 fear and Super Interested in monsters, went in to look for it.
And she found it!
And though she doesnt remember much of it afterwards, she holds it as her bestest memory.
✂️ What is one of your OC's worst memories?
She has 0 control over her Shadow Powers and during a particularly dark night (new moon), she got stuck in an intangible shadow person form. Unable to be heard or seen by anyone else, it was the most isolated she had ever felt in her life. It is probably the one and only time she had a panic attack.

HAHAHAHAHAH n o.
I change Lily's design like a girl changes clothes. I barely ever drew her the same to begin with, and overal she's gone through a few major redesigns, and plenty of smaller ones.

🍀 What originally inspired the OC?
Believe it or not; a dream.
It was a weird ass dream not at all related to Sonic but it featured a sort of moon spirit and my brain was just "I like her" and tried bringing her to the waking world with limited success.

She has one older foster sister (Swinde) she absolutely loves with her whole heart, as well as 3 biological siblings (1 older; Jillian, and 2 younger; Hilja & Eiju) who she barely knows.

She has an absolutely Wonderful relationship with her foster mom Lauren, but is more estranged to her biological father, which doesnt become much better :)

Aspiring author (primarely of cosmic horror and adjacent) who lives with a foster family after a traumatic incident from her youth. She is very intelligent and a wealth of random trivia, but she's also a massive idiot (high INT, low WIS). She loves being out and about, collecting bugs and freestyle parkouring. Happy-go lucky, but with a short temper. Collects octopus/squid/jellyfish plushies. Has shadow powers she only recently found out about and is still trying to control.

He’s the son of Tangle and Whisper in my future au that takes place roughly 20 years after canon. While he looks almost identical to Whisper, he is very similar to Tangle in personality, being very extroverted and energetic. Whistle loves playing baseball, and Tails ended up making him a bat that can utilize the wisp’s powers, like the variable wispon. Whistle is very kind and polite, if a bit gullible. In his first encounter with Mimic, he ends up defeating the octopus with the use of an electric water kettle.
