“Is it really alright for me to be fighting with them?”
home || guide || muse || ask
okay so I know I was never very active on here to begin with but I’m going to reblog my promo for my current blog if anyone is interested in it -- ps it’s tokyo ghoul, and I know one of the people I’m mutuals w/ there is looking for some naruto rpers
whomever you fear
fear me [ m o r e ]
Upcoming Haitus
So I haven’t been suuuper active like I had wanted to because of schoolwork and the end of school and all that jazz, which is unfortunate, however I do have everything drafted and I’m working on it slowly. Now here is the important part -- This summer, I am more than likely not going to be around much. My laptop is a school issued laptop that I wil be returning on May 21st. Yet, there is one more reason I won’t be around. This summer, I’m going to be gone six weeks in Europe. Normally I would say that’s fine and I’d still be on and off, but with the lack of a laptop and being in another country, it’s going to be hard. I will try to make an effort to reply to everything at least one or two more times before I leave, but just something to put out there.

“Something I Can help you with?”
⌠☾⌡ “...” The blank stare continues. “...No.”

“My name is Gaara.”
the Kazekage speaks cooly, spine straight, head held high, maintaining eye contact with the man before her.
was this a man?
she had never met someone who looked so much like her
not even her family
could it be some trick?
Her sand in her gourd thumped about lightly, in anticipation of a fight. The woman certainly did not enjoy violence as she used to, but she was ready to fight for her village if this was some sort of trick, and she would not allow herself to let some sort of illusion get past her.
She would not attack without reason, but she would be wary.
gaara always needed to be wary.
“I am the Fifth Kazekage of Sunagakure. Who are you, and what brings you to my village?”
⌠☾⌡ What a wonderful turn of events. Something that he just absolutely wanted to put up with today. Then again, he never would want to deal with anything life this. The thing that really bothered him wasn’t the fact that they looked so similar -- that could have easily been explained with a jutsu. What bothered him was the fact that he could sense the sand from within the other’s gourd reacting when she said something. Unless this was a rather strong genjutsu... This was troubling.
Sand rustled gently against the red head’s skin, almost like a living armor, reacting to the other’s presence. Though there was no reason for any of his sand to act or lash out, it would still react upon feeling a threat nearby. Emerald eyes lowered upon hearing the name, trying to think through what the other had just said. He didn’t reply -- not a first. No no, he was going to take his time with this and think it through for a moment.
“...I am Sabaku no Gaara. Godaime Kazekage. I believe that I could ask you the same question.”

Lee dusted himself off, he would need a good shower, definitely! He was done for today, it was not as if Gai was here to see him training, so he couldn’t earn a ‘well done’ or ‘good boy’ anyways. The young male took his skipping rope and put it in his backpack, completely unaware that someone was near him.
The raven haired boy looked around for everything, not wanting to forget anything, he wanted to be finished and ready to go once Gai decided to pick him up to walk Lee home. Nothing was in his field of vision, he reached into the pockets of his shirt and froze.
{青春} “…? Where…is it? Where is…where is it!?”
The boy reached into every pocket he had, nothing. He ran over to his backpack and rummaged in the deepest part, nothing. The one thing Lee treasured most was gone, but he had it this afternoon! It was impossible to be gone! Breathing hard, Lee searched for the picture he made with Gai, a silly thing to think of as the most important belonging to have, but that was a simple fact. A picture more precious than the picture of team Gai, because on this one, there was only himself and his master, Lee received his awesome teacher’s full attention that day.
After a few minutes of panic he found it lying on the floor, it was still in one full peace, only a little dirty, but overall just fine. Lee dropped on the floor and pressed it against his heart. Lee starred at Gais face, he was smiling at him and his heart begun to warm up again. This was what love felt like.
{青春} “It is fine, fine, fine. There is nothing to worry about.”
Only after that, Lee actually noticed someone was watching him, it was a strange red head, he seemed a bit younger than himself and his headband was from Suna! Lee cleaned the picture before putting it into his pocked.
{青春} “Is there something you need?”
⌠☾⌡ It was disgusting, the way he scampered around like a rodent or some sort of animal that had lost it’s favorite play thing. It was almost funny. How was it that someone had no shame or humility to the point they acted like an animal. But isn’t that what humans are? Filthy animals... waiting to get crushed and swallowed whole by the monsters.
The other appeared to be searching for something. Maybe searching wasn’t the best word -- panicking over might be a better description. Gaara almost wanted to go and find whatever it was so he could destroy it right in front of the other. Wouldn’t that just be fantastic. If it was something so close to the other that he was this strung out over it, imagine how angry he’d be, how broken he’d be if the red head ruined it.
When the scrambling mess finally stopped moving around, he held up a picture. Why... was taht important? It made no sense. A picture. Of all the things that someone could be attached to that much, it was a picture. Gaara had thought he’d seen everything with humans and their fickle emotions -- getting attached to another person, an animal, or even their favorite kunai, but never had the jinchuuriku seen anyone get attached to an image.
The other had spoken, but the young boy had not heard him. He was too lost in his own thoughts, trying to understand what it was in a human that made them act this way. That made them attached to inanimate objects. However, don’t misunderstand, he didn’t want to know why humans acted this way because he wanted to try and understand them to be one. He wanted to understand them so he knew better how to hurt them and crush their poor, weak hearts.
After a minute, the fact that the other had spoken finally sinked in, and though he didn’t reply to what the other said, he did speak.
“You’re weak. Foolish.” You’re not anything of interest to me.

( Lee )
How wonderful, the Kazekage himself came to pick him up, which meant, Lee would have to talk to himself most likely. Not that he minded, he often talked to himself when he was lonely, he talked over his plans for the day when he trained, it became almost normal to him. But when the youth actually had someone to talk to you, someone right there besides him, he felt a bit idiotic to be honest.
Lee put his small watch back into his pocket and walked up to Gaara, he looked a bit tired, not that this were some surprising news. Just like Lee always looked like the personification of energy and youth, Gaara always looked a bit..exhausted. Maybe that was because being a Kage was exhausting? Was that also why Tsunade always slept when she should actually be doing her paperwork?
{青春} “Well, hello to you, as well, Gaara-kun~ long time no see, it has been truly a while since I was visiting Sunagakure! Last time I can remember was a few months ago, truly an exciting mission and the pretty sight did not change at all~…hehe~ Just like the heat!”
⌠☾⌡ The energy that Lee was radiating already felt crushing. It always left him wondering -- just how did the Konoha shinobi keep up? A normal person (and by that I mean a normal shinobi) would be exhausted by now, running a whole trip (that took most shinobi 3 days) in under half a day. Just the fact that Lee was still able to walk was enough for Gaara. It was... impressive.
As they walked, the Kage was respectful enough to listen -- but he had no words with which to reply. Of course, the joke (and sarcasm?) seemed to go right over his head. It was the desert, Lee. Obviously it was hot. This place was like an oven, cooking up and spitting out anyone that wasn’t used to it. It was not a place for the weak willed (or those who couldn’t take the weather). Of all the environments in which one could live, a desert may very well have been the most challenging.
While the other was busy chattering his head off, Gaara led them straight to the center building and then up to his office. It was just much easier to allow the other to speak, rather than try to interject -- he’d more than likely get cut off anyway (which would not make for a happy Kazekage) or get spoken over. The only point at which he did speak was after they both had gotten into his office and he had turned to face the other.
“...” Hesitation as he tried to form the words. “Do you plan on resting after your trip or not?”

At first she didn’t think anything of the staring, she was used to it by now. Whether it be for her hair, forehead, or just in general.
But – this was getting irritating.
She tried her best to ignore whoever it was glaring holes in the back of her head, but the slight twitch in her eye gave away her growing frustration.
Do they not know when to stop? What the heck is their problem?
– I can’t ignore this anymore.
The glower on her face clearly wasn’t going to be letting up until the source of her discomfort was confronted. So might as well get it over with. She was quick to turn on her heels and send her own glare the redhead’s way.
❝Can I help you?❞
❝ – Or are you just going to stand there and stare all day?❞
⌠☾⌡ There was discomfort in her body language, obviously she could feel my eyes, slowly drilling into her head. Yet, I didn’t want to turn away -- I had no reason to and that hair was really starting to bother me. Was it even natural?
If it weren’t for the fact that I was irritable, then chances were I wouldn’t be staring directly at the other’s head. But I had my reasons, and there was no harm in just staring. Was there? Not like I cared... I’d kill her off soon anyway. Oh wait -- she talked.
As soon as the other turned around and started talking, Gaara’s glare lowered. It was needless to say that he didn’t care. All humans were the same, always getting angry and fed up over the same things. There was nothing wrong with staring.
“...” He was already on edge -- today was not a good day (were they ever?) and if she continued to talk, it would get her killed faster. There was no care for words, or consideration of other people’s feelings. Instead he only radiated mal intent.
“Shut up.”
hey lil mama lemme whisper in ya ear
Send one of these to my muse and they'll react to having it whispered in their ear. It's a mix of fluff, angst, and nsfw.
"I'm going to kill you."
"You're mine, and mine alone."
"No one's gonna harm you."
"Stay away from me."
"Watch your back."
"Kiss me or kill me, the choice is yours."
"I'm going to make you tremble."
"I love you."
"I hate you."
"By the time I'm done with you the whole block is going to know my name."
"What's that? Cat got your tongue?"
"If you don't leave right now I'm going to kick your ass."
"I want you, now."
"I need you."
"You can't touch me."
"Promise me you'll be gentle."
"You don't make the demands here."
"Stop me if you hate me so much."
"I'm going to tear you inside out."
"Say my name."
"Stay with me, please."
"Don't leave."
"You're the best thing I have."
"Please don't hate me."
"You're all I have left."
"Say that you love me, please I need to hear it."
"Just leave I don't need you."
"Hope is a lie."
"I want to have your babies."
"I want you to have my babies."

⌠☾⌡ Emerald eyes rose, gazing across the distance before them. It was a relatively kind day in the Suna. It wasn’t terribly hot, which was a rare and incredible blessing. Most days the sun brought a heat so blistering people couldn’t walk outside for long periods of time. It seemed that today, someone (or something -- whatever you would like to believe in) had looked down and decided to give the inhabitants of Sunagakure a slight break for a change (however this didn’t mean that it still wasn’t incredibly hot outside).
Alas, it would appear that a nice day would bring about problems of its own.
Cold eyes stared at the other, never turning away. They did not shine, glimmer, or show an ounce of recognition. They were cold, emotionless, dead looking. Yet, it was unmistakeable. This was indeed the man who had attacked the Kazekage in attempts to steal the Shukaku. A member of the... Akatsuki was it?
“...Leave this place.”

⌠☾⌡ Blood red hair, emerald green eyes surrounded by thick, dark rings, even the same mark on their forehead. It was like looking in a mirror. A slightly twisted mirror, but still a mirror.
He’s confused to say the least, but wouldn’t anyone when they see someone with the same face? The other seemed softer, more gentle at least -- that was just their form. If they were anything like them, they were sharper than a knife and just did everything to keep it all under wraps.
Gaara wasn’t interested in why the other was here. What he really wanted to know is who they were and why they looked just like him. Instead of saying anything (at least for the moment) he just stared at the other, emerald eyes fixed upon their appearance, almost as if he was trying to process the information he had been given.
“...Name yourself.”
Casually glances towards him. “?”
⌠☾⌡Continues to stare: he’s rather unaware it’s rude to do so.

The role of a follower was obvious. Follow your target. And don’t lose it. Keep the distance; yes, the instructions were clear. But how does one hunt the other down in their own home. The question of the hunter and its prey. There was no chance of winning the fight. But was she scared? Oh; why would she be? He was yet another puny human. She’s seen too many. However, undernastimating the monster was a foul thing to do. Would she understand the child if she even tried. But no. No one did. Who understands a murderer may not have it settled in their own mind. Why, she was not innocent herself. Innocent. Cruel word. No one seemed to understand anyone these days. No one tried, even.
As soon as the boy stopped, the figure wearing a pale dark cloak that slowly followed his steps one by one imitated the move. What was it in the child’s eyes? He knew about her the whole time.
Parting the slim lips: “Just passing through.” the tone kept careful and quiet. The wind would blow the words to the other for sure. Words sounding so blunt and fake; perhaps he would play the game with her. The question was; did he know who she was without the cloak that made it so easy for her to be recognised? Just a black old thing was placed around her shoulders, face nearly invisible.
⌠☾⌡ Every grain of sand was like an eye. Here, Gaara was connected to everything -- he could tell when someone was moving out there, and whether or not there was something approaching. He could even tell when sandstorms were on the way (not that he bothered to tell anyone else), the sand hurtling itself rapidly across the baren land, winds blowing at incredible speeds. Given all this, it was only natural that he could tell if someone was following him.
To say he was angry would be wrong. In fact, annoyed would be a better word for it, however the reason he was bothered was not what you would expect. The jinchuuriki wasn’t bothered by the fact that someone had followed him, being fairly used to that happening. What bothered him more was that this person thought they could lie to him when the truth was so obvious. What was it with people? What made people think they could lie (poorly)? There wasn’t a point to it when the lie was so bad, and all it did was make Gaara feel like a fool. If someone assumed they could lie like that, then it meant they thought he was just that dumb. And he didn’t like it when people underestimated him.
“...Why have you been following me?” Spending no time to flatter the other, he cut straight to the chase. With a heavy tone and firm voice, the question almost sounded more like a statement. He didn’t want an answer, he demanded an answer, and if she was smart at all she would give one to him (without lying this time).
“Tell me.”
