i used to hate learning from life. its syllabus is unpredictable but unfathomable

but what life throws at us grows us as a person

thats why we need to keep on learning

we will take all lessons, regardless how bitter and hurtful they are

we will be fine together

she is half full, while i am half empty

but i pray we are destined together to sipping the same cup of tea...

... till jannah.

these recent years before i met you, everything was in delirium.

and now you are with me, i pray that we can complete each other in equilibrium.

four things i learn from having a journey

1. the journey within myself is the most essential value. the views, the unpredictable encounters, and the rests are additional. 2. journey helps me a lot for self-discovery, that the adventure of being lost and found is interminable in our life. this ‘becoming process’ only ends as we stop breathing. 3. this life is not a destination, but merely a stopover. but during the journey within, it is by nature that we also seek something that enables us to move along: happiness, validation, acceptance, forgiveness, memories, affection. 4. life only happens once and i want to find out as much as i can. i would like to listen every single wild thoughts of yours i would like to steal a glance at how you smile i would like to wipe your tears away i would like to stare at your sad eyes i would like to be the first person you remember every morning you wake up i would like to be the last person you mention every night you fall sleep i would like to that is how i wish i can love you (at Observatory Hill, Durham)

i kept telling myself that all these writings are just childhood memories. they were just rubbish that i used to fill my lonely time, i used to prove myself from all inferiority i have and i used to express the broken heart.

until one day a girl told me otherwise; that this writing could move and melt her heart.

"renew your niat. renew your intention, abang" said her to me when something was driving me down.

no. she never question my intention while i myself keep doubting it. all she knew that im just a mere man who has fluctuating iman. sometimes up and sometimes need a reminder; her.

"i hope we always Lillah. seek Allah pleasure". she may forget with her own whisper. but i would never. especially the way she stars her smile in my sky.

whenever something brokes me inside or feeds arrogance to my ego, i remember that the disappointment and the sense of achievement are not more than temporary feeling. pursuing human pleasure eventually will never satisfy anyone. never. instead, it slowly tears me. it's seed of all heart diseases. indeed, nothing else can truly give any peace of heart, but Allah.

if you ever think of me, think of me thinking about you.

dont let small friction in your relationship cost you people you love. mistake is part of human nature and forgiving is inseparable from every relationship

a: why should i need to understand other people while i dont even understand myself?

I laughed and they said "can't you be modest".

I cried and they said "why don't you smile?"

I smiled and they said "he's a show off".

I frowned and they said "I started showing my true colors"

I was silent and they said I had a feeble tongue.

When I spoke they said I was too talkative.

When I was tolerant they called it cowardice

and said, had I been brave, I would have taken revenge.

When I showed up some courage they said it was rash & reckless, and I wouldn't have behaved if I were balanced.

When I said NO they considered me odd.

When I agreed with them, they called me a blind follower.

So it became certain, that no matter how hard I try, pleasing people will bring nothing but criticism.
