After chemosynthetic assassin Valentine Vuong betrayed and destroyed the Atelier, the elite assassins' guild that employed them, all for their obsession with love of Deadpool... he still wasn't willing to commit to them.

(Or even to do their bidding, which was the whole point of seducing an unkillable mercenary in the first place.)

So they left his sorry ass to look for someone who would. Turns out the multiverse is full of Deadpools to experiment on. Or try to enslave. Or steal and sell the organs of. Or just take on cute zoo dates.

This is either post-canon or an AU, depending on if Valentine ever comes back in the comics. They've been lazily written out in the last few arcs. God forbid Deadpools have anything nice.
