It’s Shinso Hitoshi’s birthday!! I usually don’t interact with the BNHA/MHA or yumeshipping fandoms due to bad experiences in both, and I prefer to keep it that way; however, I make an exception for Shinso's birthday This character has helped me cope with many tough things in my life since 2018, and I care about him deeply—he’s my lovely husband, hehe. I’m so happy it’s his birthday that I felt really inspired to make this drawing for him, and I wanted to share it with all his fans. I don’t usually post anything about him since my headcanons have upset a lot of people online in the past, but I don’t care or let it affect me anymore! I love him, and I hope many others do too—and that he gives them that warm, fuzzy feeling inside, just like he does for me!

I actually love the Louis and Regina subplot because it really is a continuation of the way Louis has always treated women, as a source of emotional labour that he can throw money at and have them make him feel better. It’s Miss Lily all over again, it’s “paying a whore to sit in a room and talk with him”. Making Claudia was always about Louis’ feelings under the pretence of saving her from the fire. He wants to save Regina from poverty but it’s all to make himself feel better. She sees through him but she’s so broke that she can’t afford to say no

the headcanon is a grave misreading of the characters but i like it in my mindhole where nightlight is sort of a base being with one sole instinct purpose to guard MIM,

i like the idea that MIM resurrected jack just to give nightlight a vessel and continue his fight against the darkness pitch causes, and didn’t really care about anything else (jacks own well-being, memories, livelihood etc) jacks willingness for self sacrificing and heroism recklessness etc just makes it kinda

I'm back to my "pretentious art" shenanigans. 😁

I saw on Twitter the image on the left, a detail of The Fencing Lesson, a work by Alcide-Théophile Robaudi and, don't ask me why, I thought it would be a great base for a Sherlock portrait (even if the original model is a kid, which is not super obvious from the cropped image on the left 😅)

Anyway, I'm adding this artwork on my already long list of artworks to finish, list that already include artworks devoted to Spider-Man (twice, two different Spideys), Spideypool, Supernatural, Sherlock, and Steve Rogers. The Sherlock art inspired by The Fencing Lesson will be the only one to have the texture of an oil painting though, the other ones are closer to this style or this one. I also need to finish 3-4 speed painting I did to practice a more "dynamic" style and stop focusing on details. 🙄

I hope you will enjoy the final result. ^^

I'm slowly getting there. Sherlock has now a face (but no arms 🤓). You can see on the left the brushes I use, mainly texturized brushes and on the right, my palette (it seems different from the colors used on Sherlock's face but it's due to all the various textures stacked above the main layer).
