You checked whether you had the right stage for the third timeânothing like being overly vulnerable about cancer to a crowd that you arenât supposed to be preforming toâand then you felt a hand close around your shoulder, when you noticed who it belonged to, you immediately grinned.
âGeto!â
He was wearing something that looked similar to his usual stage clothes, his long black hair pulled back into a bun, he looked cool but also quite professional. He was a friendly face in a sea of unfamiliar ones, his presence took the edge off your desire to puke in your shoes.
âHey Y/N.â He held the door open for you. âI thought I might see you around here.â
âOh?â
âFrom the line up.â He looked at you oddly. âYou didnât notice youâre on after me?â
Oh, crap. âUhâIâŚI didnât even read who else would be playing on this stage.â Because you were too busy panicking. You were used to pre-show jitters but this was something different.
âNo worries, itâs mostly small artist on this stage.â He winked, and his hand slid to your back, guiding you towards your group. âExcept for me, and your group, of course.â
After Getoâs performance, which was hard to follow, it was your turn.
It went well.
It didnât go perfectly, but it went as well as it could. You did stumble on some of your vocals but you didnât miss a beat or fumble a cord.
The crowd enjoyed it and interacted really well. You opened up about why your band were supporting the event and encouraged everyone to donate. It made you grateful that youâd spend so long rehearsing all the things you wanted to say, you knew you would miss something out if you didnât. The whole thing should have been scary and anxiety inducing. But around halfway through, you realised it made you oddly giddy.
Megumi honestly looked happy, nobaras voice was angelic and you even, for once, saw Sukuna, Yujiâs uncle, in the audience. He never came to any of your shows, it wasnât his scene, and he was even enjoying himself. You also noticed Geto off stage, every time you looked at him, he alternated between staring intensely at you and checking his phone boredlyâfair since heâs just preformed too and probably wanted to go home and sleep. You were running late and had to cut out one of the songs from the set list, which happened to be one of the songs you had quite a lot of vocals in, so that was nice. On your way off the stage you shook hands with some other big musiciansâyou fought the urge not to fangirl over them.
âYou guys were amazing.â Maki told you when you walked back stage, pushing up to hug you.
âAlso you looked so hot playing that guitar.â Nobara added.
Maki nodded in agreement. âI saw a vision of your future as a famous guitarist.â
You wrapped your arm around Maki. âWhat vision?â
âYouâre a crazy taught after guitarist, super rich, super famous, surrounded by people who praise your every move.â
âWe gotta go, the after party starts in an hour.â Megumi leaned in to kiss you on the cheek, seemed he was still chasing the concert high. âWe should celebrate the single time you sung âwaterâ right with some free booze.â
âYou dick.â
Then, Yuuji pulled you in for a tight hug and whispered in your ear. âYou did amazing, N/N.â And then louder, âletâs go get wasted.â
âWhy donât you guys go ahead, I just wanna talk to Geto.â
You made your way against the current of crew making their way out, some cleaning up and some clocking out. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off your shoulders. In terms of your career, things were really starting to look up; as it turned out, with adequate preparation you could actually talk to the audience. It motivated you to practice a little harder, and made you feel a slight buzz at the thought of making a new album. You let your mind wander to whether you should text Gojo to tell him he was right; you did make it out alive. You should also probably ask how his performance went and whether he planned to go to the after party. He would probably be meeting up with friends. Maybe you should buy him a thank-you drink.

There were two beds in the hotel room.
Two double beds to be precise. As you stared at them, you felt your shoulders sag with relief and you had to fight the urge to fist-pumpâtake that, you stupid rom-coms. You realised on your plane you had sort of fallen for the guy you were fake dating, if you were being entirely honest with yourself, like some born-yesterday fool, but at least you wouldnât be sharing a bed with him.
Given your outrageous actions the past couple of weeks, you really needed this win, though small.
There were a number of small clues that Satoru had slept on the bed closest to the entrance. A book on the nightstand, a thumb drive, the iPad youâd seen him carry around many times, an iPhone charger, and most obviously, a suitcase by the foot of the bed, black and expensive-looking. Unlike yours, which had probably been fished out of a bargain bin.
âGuess this is mine then,â you murmured, sitting on the bed closest to the window and bouncing a few times to test the mattress. It was a nice room. Not ridiculously fancy, but you were suddenly grateful for the way Satoru had snorted and looked at you like you were crazy when you had offered to pay half for it. At last the place was wide enough that you both werenât going to have to brush up against each other every time you moved around. Staying in here with him wouldnât feel like a singular my statistic version of Seven Minutes in Heaven.
Not that youâd be together much. You were going to preform in a couple hoursâyippieâthen go to the social and hang out with your friends untilâŚwell, as long as you feasibly could. Odds were the Satoru already had tons of meet-and-greets and meetings and other things scheduled, maybe you wouldnât even see eachother. You would be asleep when he came back tonight, and tomorrow morning, one of you would pretend not to wake up while the other got ready. It was going to be fine. Harmless. At the very least, not make thing worse then they already were.
Your usual concert outfits would be professionally made, but given the premise to the concert, it didnât quite seem right to blow thousands on a concert outfit, so instead you put one together yourself. Maki had mentioned the other day that you didnât want to be too casual for this event, but also be comfortable. After fighting for hours you decided on something just in between, making sure to get Makiâs approval first too. It seemed like a good idea, you slipped into the bathroom and fought with your hair and makeup till you deemed yourself âconcert ready.â
You just walked out of the bathroom, rehearsing some of your vocals and warming up your voice when the door opened and someoneâSatoru, of course it was Satoruâentered the room. He was holding his keycard and typing something on his phone, but stopped as soon as he looked up and noticed you. His mouth opened, andâ
That was it. It just stayed open.
âHey.â You forced your face into a smile. Your heart was doing something weird in your chest. Beating a little too quickly. You should probably do something about that soon, when you got back home, one could never be too careful. âHi.â
âHe snapped his mouth closed and cleared his throat. âYouâreâŚâ he swallowed, shifted on his feet. âHere.â
âYep.â You nodded, still smiling. âJust arrived. My flight landed on time, shockingly.â
Satoru seemed a little slow. Maybe jet-lagged from his own flight, or perhaps last night heâs been out late with his famous friends, or with a mysterious woman. He stared at you, silent for several moments, when he spoke to was only to say, âYou lookâŚâ
You glanced down, wondering if your makeup had already smudged. You put it on three whole minutes ago so it was more than likely. âConcert ready?â
âThatâs not what IâŚâ Satoru shook his head like he was collecting himself. âBut, yes. You do. How are you?â
âGood. Fine. I mean, I wish I were dead, but aside from that, okay.â
He laughed silently and moved closer, âYouâll be okay.â You had thought that sweaters were a good look for him, but that was because you hadnât see him in a blazer. Heâd had a secret weapon all along, you thought, trying not to stare too hard. And now heâs unleashing it, screw him.
âAgreed.â You scraped your fingers through your hair and smiled. âAfter I die.â
âYouâre fine. Youâre always fine. You preform amazingly all the time, youâre good.â
âI think it was better before you made me change my strings.â
âThey were fraying.â
âI know. It added edge.â
âThey put me on edge.â
âMm. Anyway, thanks again for all the help.â And for answering the 143 questions I asked. Thank you for taking less than ten minutes to reply to any emails of texts I sent you, even when it was 5:30 am and you missed spelled âpitchâ which is unusual of you and makes me suspect that you were definitely still half asleep.
âNo problem.â
You scratched your cheek. âI figured you were using that bed, so I put my stuff here, but if youâŚâ you trailed off, gesturing confusedly at the room.
âNo, thatâs where I slept last night.â
âOkay.â You were not counting how many inches were between the beds. Definitely not. âSo, how has the event been so far?â
âSame old.â He said it like he had been to so many, which he likely had, after all he was the Satoru Gojo. âI was mostly with Geto for boring meetings and stuff since weâre debuting our song, I only got back for lunch.â
Your stomach rumbled loudly at the mention of food.
âYou okay?â
âYeah, I like, think I forgot to eat today.â
His eyebrows arched. âI didnât think you capable.â
âHey?!â You glared at him. âThe sustained levels of despair Iâve been engaging in require a staggering number of calories, in case youâwhat are you doing?â
Satoru was leaning over his suitcase, rummaging for something that he held out to you.
âWhat is it?â
âCalories. To fuel your despair habits.â
âOh.â You accepted it, dumbfound. Then you studied the protons bar in your hands, trying not to burst out crying. It was just food. Probably a snack heâd brought for the plane ride and ended up not eating, he didnât need despair, after all. He was Satoru Gojo. âThanks are youâŚâ The wrapper of the bar crinkled as you shifted it from one hand to another. âStill coming to our set?â
âYes of course, when is it?â
âToday, starts at 7. It does overlap with Getoâs stuff though so itâs possible we wonât get the much turnout. Good and bad.â
His spine stiffened noticeably, you hesitated.
âUnless you were planning to go support Geto?â
Satoru wet his lips. âIâŚâ
Your mind chose that exact moment to fully comprehend what he had said before.
âSince weâre debuting our songâ
You jaw dropped.
âOh my God.â You looked up at him, wide-eyed andâŚoh god. At least he had the grace to look sheepish. âHow did you not tell me that you would be Getoâs guest appearance?â
Satoru scratch his jaw, oozing discomfort. âI didnât think of it.â
âOh my God.â You repeated.
To be fair, it was on you. The name of Getoâs guest appearance was likely printed in font size 300 in the program, and all the promotional material, not to mention the emails you hand gotten, you must have had your head very much up your own ass to fail to notice.
âSatoru.â You made to rub your eyes then thought better of it. Damn makeup. âI canât be fake-dating Suguru Getoâs public best friend.â
âWell, technically thereâs more than just me. The other two are married from Europe and Japanââ
You crossed your arms on your chest and gave him a flat look till he quieted. You couldnât help laughing. âHow did this not come up?â
âItâs not a big deal.â He shrugged. âI doubt I was the first choice.â
âRight.â Sure, because a person exists who would actually refuse to play at this event. You tilted your head. âDid you think I was an idiot, when I was complaining about like two hours on stage in-front of like a thousand people maximum?â
âNot at all, your reaction was understandable.â He thought for a moment. âI do sometimes thinks your an idiot, like when you made questionable food concoctions.â
âTheyâre all great.â
He looked pained. âWhen are you doing your test run? Maybe I can still make it.â
âWeâre not.â You waved your hand, hoping to seem unconcerned. âItâs fine really.â And it was since someone would be preforming right before you. âBased on our regular concert routine, Iâll probably be recording the whole thing on my phone, since we do that thing where we post like highlights social media afterwards, but theyâre recorded on our phones.â
Satoru looked confused, clearly he hadnât seen any of your social media posts, you didnât blame him. He was above them.
âBottom line is, I can probably send you that video.â
âIâd like that.â
You flushed and changed the topic. âIs that why you have this room for the whole event? Because youâre a big shot?â
He frowned. âIâm not.â
âCan I call you âbig shotâ from now on?â
He sighed, walking to the bedside table and pocketing a USB youâd noticed earlier. âI have to go downstairs, smart-ass.â
âOkay.â He could leave, it was fine, totally fine. You didnât let your smile falter. âIâll see you after the show then?â
âOf course.â
âAnd after yours, good luck, and congratulations, I mean itâs such a big honour.â
Satoru didnât seem to be thinking about that though, he lingered by the door, his hand over the door knob as he looked back at you. Your eyes held for a few moments before he told you, âDonât be nervous, okay?â
You pressed your lips together and nodded. âIâll just do what Maki always says.â
âAnd whatâs that?â
âCarry myself with the confidence of a mediocre white man.â
He grinned, andâthere they were. The heart-stopping dimples. âIt will be fine, Y/N.â His smile softened, âAnd if not, at least itâll be over.â

It was Thursday night, you would be leaving for the airport in eight hours to catch your flight to LA. You had missed fake-dating-Thursday as Satoru was already in LA. Not having fake-dating-Thursday this week pained you a little, it seemed it hadnât really occurred to you how much you enjoyed it till it had gone. You would see him in fourteen hours though, that was a bonus.
You werenât really sure why not seeing him saddened you so much, you clearly really relied on his presence in your life to keep you company.
You shoved some underwear into your suit case, it was full. Too full. When you had closed it, the edges didnât meet. You had to climb up on your bed and sit on your suitcase in order to zip it shut.
When you had finally won the wrestle with your suitcase, you went into the kitchen where Megumi and Maki were waiting for you. You had told them you would only be a minute and ended up taking an hour. You plopped down in the other chair at your dining table, folding your arms on the table and resting your head on them.
Maki reached her hand over and rubbed your back. âPacking getting to you?â
âYeah. It sucks. I hate packing.â
âWell, you could go and nap, we have like four hours till we need to get ready to go.â
âI would, but Iâm actually going to go to the studio and practice.â
Makiâs hand halted. âY/N.â You lifted your head up, Megumi and Maki were sharing a look. A look that your couldnât quite decipher.
Megumi sighed. âY/N youâve been spending so much time at the studio, like, twelve hours a day.â
âYeah, weâre worried. Weâve hardly seen you.â
If you were being honest, you had kind of been kind of been hiding from them. Or well, not them per se but definitely from Maki, considering she is the only one out of the three of you unaware of you and Satoru not actually being a couple. If you didnât spend time around her there was no reason to lie, thus, the lie couldnât get any worse. But you also wanted to keep practicing for Getoâs event, it was convenient timing if anything.
âIâve just been busy, you know Getoâs event means a lot to me and I want to be my absolute best.â Well at least there was some truth.
âAnd you will be, but if you overwork yourself youâre just going to exhaust your talent.â
You sighed. She was right, actually. You had been burning yourself out. You had known when you got home at 4am on a Wednesday, but chose to ignore it. You were enjoying the distraction, when you were in the studio there was no one there to lie to, there was no one there to pretend to be dating, the was no one pecking you, bugging you, just you alone with your thoughts. Which had actually given you time to handle the situation with Toge outing your ârelationshipâ in a much more civilised wayâespecially compared to your initial reaction.
âNo youâre right. Iâm actually going to go and catch some sleep, like you said.â
âGood.â
Megumi, though not speaking, gave you a nod of approval.
You got up and went back to your room quickly setting an alarm on your phone. You sunk into your bed and closed you eyes, falling asleep almost immediately.
Your alarm had scared you awake. You practically sat up straight in your bed. It had been a long while since you had to set one, you forgot how loud they can be.
You laid in bed for a while, simply mustering up the strength to get out of it. When you finally did you felt like your head was spinning, you'd had one of those naps where you didn't feel any better after it. You stumbled into the kitchen and quickly got yourself a much needed glass of water.
âHey sleeping beauty.â The voice had almost startled you. You spun on your heel to be met with Yuji. It felt like forever since you had actually seen him like this, the last time it was just a one on one conversation with the two of you youâd ended up arguing about Yujiâs obvious feelings for Megumi.
Yuji was sat at your breakfast bar, his note book under him. You walked over to where he was sat, resting your elbows on the worktop. âWhat you writing?â
âJust some lyrics for Nobara.â You tried your best to get a peek of it, however, Yuji shut the note book and put it aside when he caught wind of what you were trying to do. You never really got why he was so protective over that note book, but you never questioned it. Everyone had something they didnât want people to see, you figured that was just his.
âOkay.â You straightened your spine. âOkay, Im going to go freshen up then I think we can go to the airport.â
Yuji nodded. âIâll go tell Megumi and Maki youâre just freshening up then weâll go.â He spilled out of the stool and disappeared to Megumiâs room.
You went to your room and quickly threw on some comfortable clothes and grabbed your suitcase and carry-on, quickly checking through your notes on your phone to see if you had ticked off everything you needed. You had, luckily. You were free to go. You quickly left your room, being sure to shut your bedroom door behind you.
You were going to see Satoru soon.
The thought almost startled you. Youâd been doing a fairly good job of not thinking about him, or how you hadnât seen him all week. Not at fake-dating Thursday, not even in passing. You hadnât seen him all week, it felt like a part of you had gone missing. It had never really dawned on you how much you relied on his presence in your life. You never realised how much you relied on ânormâ which for you consisted of; seeing Megumi every morning, going to work, seeing Maki and seeing Satoru.
But for now, you had to not think about that. You had bigger things to think about. Like airport security, something your deeply despised. You loved flying and travelling however you could not stand airport security. You understand the need for it you just hated how longwinded it was, and how time consuming it was, and how mentally and physically draining it was.
You slipped your trainers on stood up. âWe ready to go?â
Maki nodded. âYep! I helped Megumi pack while you were asleep and Yuji and I came over here fully packed so weâre ready to go!â She was beaming. Over the last few weeks she had been a lot more smiley, you almost felt responsible for it, if you hadnât of lied to her she wouldnât be with Yuta. She would still be miserable. Given youâd put yourself through utter misery for close to 3 months but it was worth it to see you best friend so happy.
âLetâs go then.â Megumi grabbed his keys and opened the door, holding it open for everyone. One by one you filed out. Megumi locked the door and you left the apartment complex.
The whole travel you thought about Satoru. You allowed yourself to. You were excited to see himânot that youâd let him know. Despite the worries that had once circled your mind upon agreeing to sharing a room with him, you were honestly excited for it. Sharing a room with him wouldnât be so bad, not at all actually. You enjoyed his company, a lot. He was fun to be around and it turned out you actually did have a lot in common with him.
The uploads are going to get verrrry slow now since Iâm starting college again so I donât really have time to write, so it likely will be weekend before Iâm doing anything, Iâm so sorry guys, Iâll try and get stuff to you as quick as I can and keep checking my account for updates because Im sure some weeks I wonât be able to upload at all with the amount of workload imma have I canât apologise enough!

You had arrived to fake-dating Thursday on time, for once. Not something that happened very often for any event, let alone fake-dating Thursday. In fact, you werenât just on time but you were early. You were now sat in the cafe at ten minutes to ten waiting for Satoru to make his appearance.
A small part of you actually wished he wouldnât come today, after the embarrassment that was yesterday. The scene of you massaging sunscreen into Satoruâs chest replaying itself in your head. You would never live it down, by far, out of everything that was the worst thing youâve ever had to do in this fake-relationship. Hell, it was the worst thing youâve ever had to do in your life. It was humiliating.
But, you couldnât keep dwelling on it, plus, considering Satoruâs track record he probably wouldnât address it. So instead you decided to focus your attention on planning an outfit for the concert, you would be leaving next week and you swore you would dress your absolute best. This definitely wasnât the first concert youâd ever done but this was definitely the first one with meaning so deep to it.
You continued to busy yourself by reading the most recent updates from some of your favourite criticsâthey had all written some amazing comments about the bandâthey always kept your mind occupied when you needed it. You quickly checked the time, Satoru was late, which considering his âcharacterâ tardiness was the last thing your expected.
Shit. You were thinking about him again.
You made a quick effort to think of something, anything else. Clicking on random tabs and websites to distract you, even going as far as to accidentally click on a pop-up-ad of some random âmilfâ supposedly 20 miles from you, in a desperate attempt to essentially jumpscare the thoughts out of your head. After clicking on the pop-up-ad, it had absolutely worked. You quickly x-ed out of the tab and went onto twitter, it had been a while since you last properly checked it.
You opened up twitter and went onto the trending page only to find yourself gobsmacked.
You stared at the tag, Satoru was trending? Why the fuck was Satorutrending? You clicked on it, a force in your finger that almost snapped it in half, you could of sworn you felt it throb for a moment.
You read through a few of the messages then re-read them, well it was nice that none of them were necessarily negative, however, you were absolutely not prepared for, for half a moment your thought youâd fallen off your chair. Then you focused on the first one, it was a quote tweet, the original poster was Toge. What the fuck? Your mouth practically unhinged.
By now Satoru had arrived however you couldnât bring yourself to look up, in fact, you couldnât take your eyes off the computer screen, no way this had gotten out of work. You felt physically sick. You looked up at Satoru your mouth still agape, he cocked his head ever so slightly. You slowly raised your hand and motioned him to come over, he quickly rushed around and bent down next to you staring at the screen. You heard the faintest of gasps.
You turned to Satoru with a look which must have been horrifying as when you made eye contact he flinched, only slightly. He sighed and stoop up, straightening his back then he walked over to the chair opposite you and folded himself in it. The chair looked like a kids toy chair compared to him. It felt like ever since yesterday, after seeing his body, he seemed even bigger than usual, like an illusion of sorts.
You opened you mouth, you were going to say something profound had you not been in a total state of shock and disbelief, completely void of things to say. Satoru, surprisingly, seemed to pick up on your state and decided to speak for you, âIâm going to be honest, Y/N one of the first things we agreed was that this deal was strictly for in the work place, even my public relations manager had advised we do as such, Iâm sorry you friend did something so shitty, but I donât know how going to deal with this, however we will so you need to try to calm down. Itâs not the end of the world.â
You redirected your wandering gaze towards him. What was he saying? Whatever it was it didnât make sense to you, you were sure you were going to hurt. Right now, all you needed to do was pretend this wasnât real and deal with it when you arenât as worked up about itâwhich would probably be never.
âIt doesnât matter. Weâll deal with it later, Satoru. Letâs go get coffee.â You quickly clicked off the tab and closed your laptop. You had, for a very long time, known how to condition yourself and how to fake it, which, as of right now was your biggest ally. If you faked it, you faked it to yourself and if you fake it to yourself you didnât have to think about it.
Luckily for you, Clyde had caught onto what you were doing and simply got up and followed you to the counter, not saying a single word. All he did was stand next to you, so close you could feel his body heat, like it was radiating. For some reason, it made you feel safeâprotected.
The barista gave the customer before you their order and walked up to the cash register, giving you all her attention. âHi! What can I get for you today?â Her voice was sickeningly friendly you almost told her to get real but instead your bit your tongue and answered, making a point of staying polite.
âHi! Can I get a chamomile tea and an iced coffee? Two pumps of caramel.â Satoru gave you a look before paying for the order. The barista wandered off to prepare your drinks. You sighed, realising a breath you hadnât even realised youâd been holding. You felt so incredibly tense.
âI heard you donât have a room for next week? Getting one lest minute is going to be really hard you know?â
âYeah I do know, Satoru. What is the aim of telling me something I already know.â
âWell I was thinking,â he paused, seemingly deep in thought. Looking for the words. âWithout this sounding obnoxious maybe you could share with me?â
You felt yourself suck in some air. What was up with him today? You whipped your head around to him, your mind felt frantic. What could he possibly want sharing a room with you? You stared at him, hoping he would explain or tell you something, anything that made the whole idea sound even a little bit less creepy.
He stared at you for a moment before trying to explain only to get too worked up. He stopped and took a deep breath. âOkay, thatâs not what I mean, I mean I have a room booked for the week from Geto as a thank your gift for letting him stay at my place. However, Iâm only going to be there for three days, two before youâre supposed to arrive and the day of. I have a few meeting down there then Iâm preforming then you perform then the day after I have to leave, I have another performance so weâd only be sharing for one day.â
You swallowed thickly and nodded, slowly. âOkay but that one night we do cross over, weâre going to have to share a bed.â
âNo, we wonât. The room I booked is two bedroom.â
âOh.â
Really, there was no reason decline, no matter how hard you searched and racked your brain. You began to weigh up the options, but really you hadnât considered any negatives aside from the one of you maybe walking in on the other changing and concluded that declining would be foolish. You were already struggling enough trying to work out what you were going to do a free room would be really perfect.
You sighed. âOh what the hell. Yeah, if you donât mind, Iâll share with you. Thank you so much Satoru.â
He did his mouth-twitch-thing. âYouâre welcome.â
You tried not to focus too much on his face, or that fact that his mouth-twitch-thingâwhich was now the technical termâonly seemed to be reserved for you. It, honestly, made you happy that Satoru could trust you enough to be a âvulnerableââbut not really just a little laid backâversion of himself. It was like this deal you had was also a secret alliance, it was nice.
The more you thought about how the deal had brought you closer the more the anxiety of it ending in just under a week began to peck at your head. Would you just go back to normal like nothing had ever happened? Like you hadnât kissed himâtwiceâor like you hadnât sat on his lap? Would all that just be forgotten and you return to a normal life like you had just 3 months ago?
The thoughts began to form into anxiety in the pit of your stomach, if anything, you really liked Satoruâs company, youâd even gained solace in it once or twice, you didnât want that go away, you honestly wanted him to stay a part of your life. But for now, you had to dismiss the thoughts, you couldnât entertain them till next week, right now, you just need to focus on being happy. Being in a bad mood wouldnât help anyone while your practice and prepare for the show next week.
Almost as if on cue, the barista called your drinks out, knocking you off your train of thoughts completely. You took a step forward and grabbed your drink, taking a sip of it. Any sadness youâd had vanished completely in that moment, this drink was exactly what you needed, you felt yourself physically brighten up.
You made your way back to the table, sitting where you had sat before when your found out aboutâ
It didnât matter.
Satoru folded himself into the chair across from you again. The silence was awkward but telling. You both know something had to be said or you would be stuck here staring at each other longer than needed. Alas no matter how much your racked your brain you couldnât find a single conversation, considering how close you and Satoru had gotten you still werenât unfamiliar to awkward silences with him.
Satoru picked up his phone and check up them sat up straight. âFuck.â The âuâ lasted for longer than what was probably necessary. âIâm so sorry but I need to go.â He got up and grabbed his bag and left quickly, not waiting for your goodbye.
A little rude.
You let out a breath, you didnât know you had been holding, and slumped back in your chair. Today was absolutely going to be a long one.
You opened up your laptop again and logged back in. Happy to not see twitter when you opened it. You would have to ask Yuta to make a statement about it and make one yourself and get Satoru to make one.
This shit was too much for a Thursday morning.
You went onto a random gaming site. Usually when you were upset or stressed about something, playing crappy online games helped. Your favourite one had to be and of the Papaâs games, today though, you had a craving for Papaâs Freezeria.
You had been playing for roughly 15 minutes when your brain decided to abruptly remind you of the deal you had made with Satoru.
Shit.
You had originally agreed because a free room is a free room, a lunatic would turn that down. But then you remembered, this was your shitty life. Nothing ever went the way you wanted them to go, no you essentially were a rom-com now. There was no way you would get out of this amazing offer unscathed. You knew for a fact, without a shadow of a doubt there would not be two beds.
