Actually, the choice of Candy cheating with Eric can make a lot of sense. Not only the LIs are ignoring her these last chapters, but most of them (except maybe Hyun?) don’t seem very interested in her job or how she’s doing. They were a disaster helping her with the café for a day, Nath even talked like Candy had a lesser job.

Meanwhile Eric is there filling this gap. He appreciates her job, always visits and talks with her, loves her coffee and now even stays until late to help her close, he even took her on a date when her partner left her alone! Candy is always the one helping all of the LIs in both their personal lives and their jobs but Eric is the one helping her with the cafe and asking her how she’s doing. I know most players aren’t into cheating plots or cheating in general(I wouldn’t cheat on Castiel) but Candy being attracted or crushing on Eric because he’s giving her what the others aren’t can make sense.
