Thena was surprised by this kiss and she knew that this kiss was immortal. She then kissed back and put her emotions into the kiss. Time was still and it was only between her and Luke. She cupped his face and tears fell down like a waterfall. ‘This had to be love’ She thought to herself.

Thena broke the kiss and looked into Luke’s eyes with no words…

Luke stared back at her, wide eyed and breathing heavy. “I’m sorry, I I… I love you and I know you might not feel that way about me but I needed you to know.” He looked at her with watering eyes.

Thena eyes started to water again and she kissed him like what he did to her. She broke the kiss off and gave a smile, “You should know that I love you too...” It felt like a relief to Thena, all those emotions that she felt like a secret was now out. This love was immortal to her and she never wanted to let it go...

Luke gave her a goofy grin and wrapped himself around her tightly. “Someone is no longer mad at me I see.” He teased.

Thena laughed at Luke’s grin, “Well, there’s a saying: forgive and forget.” Thena then embraced Luke tightly, this was one of the most happiest moment she had in a while… But there was something she wanted to tell him…

“You are very forgiving my dear. I’m sorry I was being an ass.” He kissed her cheek. “You’re too good to me.” Luke nuzzled into her hair.

Thena chuckled, “ Don’t worry, everyone can be an ass time to time again…” After Luke kissed her cheek and nuzzled in her hair, she then asked, “Luke, if we were going to be parents one day- would you be happy?…”

Luke, being aloof as he is, just hummed into her hair. “Yeah.. I mean… One day..” He snaked his hand up the back of her shirt.

Thena then looked at Luke as he put his hands up her back, “What if I told you that I’m with child right now?” Thena was nervous, she hoped that he would be happy and not disappointed.

The Jedi stiffened immediately, pulling away to look Thena in the eyes. “A-are you serious?” He asked, moving his hands into his lap.

Thena was now scared, she noticed how stiff he was and how he was looking into her eyes in a cautious manner, “I am… I’m carrying our child…” She then looked at Luke with utter fear, “ Luke… Can you please tell me what you think… I’m scared when your this cautious…”

It took the poor man a few seconds to take in the information, but soon tears poured into his eyes. “You?… Our?…” He looked at her with amazement. Suddenly he pulled her into a fierce hug. “A-are you sure?” He sniffled.

Thena was in shock when Luke pulled her into his embrace. But when Luke asked that if she was actually pregnant- she laughed with tears running down her face from relief, “ Yes, Leia noticed something about my health and she took me in to see the doctor…” She continued, “I’m about three months pregnant…”

“Three months?!” He said, shocked. “Oh.. My beautiful Thena.” Luke held her face in his hands. Tears poured down his face as he grinned at her. “A baby… Our baby..”

Luke was deep in thought, swinging his lightsaber to block each of his practice opponents blows. He was very close to winning, sweat dripping down his neck. Just as he was about to execute the finale blow, he saw her. He had no idea who she was, but she was absolutely breathtaking. Mouth agape, he was just standing there, mid strike, staring at her. His opponent took this easy opening to strike him, and knock him on his little Jedi ass. It took the poor man a second to realize was just happened, but one he did, Luke’s face was bright red. Not to mention his pride was deeply bruised. He just hoped this beautiful women didn’t see what happened.

Thena was trying to find Leia to talk about missions for the future, but when she turned she saw a man a Jedi falling on his bottom. She realized that this man was Luke Skywalker. She knew of him through Leia and how he was training people to become Jedi. She didn’t know why Luke fell or what caused him to stumble. She then became awfully curious about him and wanted to observe the practices he was taking.

Thena didn’t have the Force, but she admire the old stories of the Jedi and how heroic they were in the past. She was glad that they were coming back and she always wanted to meet one. When Luke glanced at her, a faint blush rose upon her cheeks. She didn’t know if she had the guts to talk to her or if he was going to come over and introduce himself.

Realizing that she was staring back at him, he looked down in embarrassment. A thought of Leia nagging at him to meet and talk to some ladies around the base made him get up and go over to talk for her. He was extremely nervous and shaky to talk to someone so beautiful.

“H-hello there.” Luke said to her quickly, blushing like mad.

Thena blushed when Luke introduced himself, she didn’t know what to do but to smile back, “Hi…” She continued while blushing, “I notice that you’re training people to become Jedi, so I just had to come and watch.”

She had to admit, Luke Skywalker was pretty attractive. She never had any crushes or attractions she had in the past, but now she had one. Thena continued to smile, “I’m Thena Rishek, I’m a friend of Leia.”

Hearing that she was watching him made him grin. She was even more beautiful up close, long dark hair and bright eyes, enough to make him swoon. Not to mention a curvy body that made him shift around.

“I’m Luke. Leia’s brother.” He offered his hand out to her shyly. “What brings you to the base? If you don’t mind me asking.” Luke decided to take a try at conversation.

“Well, I was trying to find Leia to ask her about some future missions” She continued with a smile (since she couldn’t stop), “I heard that the next one, I’m suppose to have a mission with you…” After she spoke she started to blush, “So I was going to ask her about you, and well… Here you are!”

Thena then chuckled and looked at look. She noticed how his eyes were very blue- it reminded of her of the Nabooian lakes and how they glisten from the sun. She then tucked her hair back, “Have you heard anything about the mission yet? If you don’t, I can tell you…”

His heart fluttered when she said they would be on a mission together. Though in the back of his mind he kinda wondered his Leia had done this on purpose, but he wasn’t complaining. Luke hung on every word she said, taking in her smile as one would take in the sun. He could sense through the force her kindness and pure spirit, it made him want to know everything about her.

“Oh um, if you could fill me in that would be great. I’ve been so busy training that I haven’t been to see Leia yet.” He puffed out his chest. Girls liked tough guys right? Luke thought to himself.

Thena nodded a bit when Luke said that he didn’t have time to check in with Leia, “Well, our mission is to go to Naboo and find a secret Imperial base that has a strong advantage to try to attack the Rebellion.” She continued, “ I know where it might be at since I lived there for a while.”

When she noticed Luke puffing his chest out, she kinda thought it was funny. But she didn’t mind, she knew that many guys wanted to show off to her as being strong. But having Luke do it made her chuckle a bit. She knew that Luke was strong and courageous, she didn’t think that he should show how tough he was.

Luke grinned when she laughed, it was like music. He wanted to make her laugh more. But he knew he should really start acting like a professional. “That should be interesting. It’s going to need to be low key and we will have to lay low. It will also be very dangerous..” He chewed his lip. It would be dangerous. What if she got hurt? He couldn’t let that happen. “It’s going to be very high risk, are you sure you’re up for it? I mean, I will try to protect you the best I can but.. If we had to split up or something…” He looked down at her with a concerned expression. “At least let me teach you some basic self defense and some basics with a blaster.” The man offered to her.

When Luke offered Thena to teach her some self defense, she laughed inside. She was trained by the best to defend herself, even with a blaster. But she couldn’t refuse his offer because she would so guilty if she did refuse.

She nodded, “Sure!” She didn’t want to tell that she was trained, but she knew that this was going to get interesting, “I don’t want to get my ass whoop by any Imperials, that would be embarrassing.”

She then raised an eyebrow and gave a playful smile, “Where do we start?”

Luke took a step back and smiled. He was happy she was going to let him teach her. It would also be a good opportunity to show off to her a little. “Don’t worry Thena, I’ll go easy on ya. And I’ll have you ready to take down the Empire soon enough.” He encouraged.

“Alright, I’m going to come at you like someone would to attack you. I want you to duck and get away from me.” He instructed her then moved into place. After a silent count down, he moved towards her quickly.

After Luke told her to duck away from him, she thought of the opposite. When he came towards her, she jumped on his shoulders and threw him to the floor and got on top of him. She then faked a blaster like she was going to kill the “attacker”. Thena smirked with the expression ‘You know that I’m trained, right?’

She then got up, and kept smirking, “Do you want to continue training?” She then gave him a hand, “Or do you want to start with the blasters?”

It all happened so quickly. One second he was moving at her aggressively, the next he was flat on his back with Thena above him. Face bright red, he stared up at her in amazement. He has never been more attracted to someone in all his life. She was brilliant and beautiful and glowing above him.

Taking a moment to get out of his daze, he cleared his throat. “Uh… Wow… I look like a total ass.” Luke took her hand and stood up. “No, I believe that you are probably better at that than me too.” He chuckled lightly.

Thena laughed, “You’re not an ass, I was the ass….” She continued as she felt guilty, “I totally tricked you and I should’ve told you that I’ve been trained, I’m sorry I should’ve not done that…” She really felt guilty and she didn’t know if he felt hurt about what she did to him. Thena didn’t mean to trick him, but she want to have a bit of fun for once…

She sighed and looked at him with a flushed face, “I uh… I don’t know if you want to talk-” She then felt like an idiot, “I mean getting to know each other, I don’t want to go on a mission without knowing my partner…”

“No! No no no.. Don’t apologize. Please, it’s fine. I totally deserved it. I just assumed you weren’t trained and that was very wrong of me to do.” He said sincerely. “Y-you are really good..” He blushed and looked downward.

“Um.. Anyway. Yeah! That’d be great.” Luke smiled at her and nodded towards a sitting area. “Let’s sit over there.” He lead her over and sat down. “So um.. What do you want to know?”

When Thena sat down, she looked at Luke with a smile. She was happy that he was interested to get to know each other. She then thought for a moment and spoke, “Well, I know you’re Leia’s brother…. But I never remembered you on Alderaan…”

Thena continued, “I grew up on Alderaan and I knew of the Organa Royal family on Alderaan… I guess what I’m asking if you two were long lost siblings? Or did you knew, ever since you were a child, that you had a sister?”

Luke looked down at his lap, wringing his hands slightly. “N-no. I grew up thinking I was an only child. I didn’t even know she was my sister until recently.” He shrugged his shoulders. “I grew up on Tatooine. I was just a farm boy.” Luke mumbled the last sentence. He was embarrassed to tell this beautiful women that he wasn’t always a cool Jedi knight. But he had to be truthful with her.

After Luke told Thena that he was once a farmboy, she would never thought he was once that but she would never judge him about his past. She nodded and spoke, “I never went to Tatooine before, I heard it’s very dry and hot…” She sighed, “ Well, I grew up on Alderaan to a wealthy noble family… They favored the Empire than they did with the Rebellion….”

“I uh… I left them…” She then began to remember the last time she saw them, “ I was in a disagreement with my father which made me leave… Then two weeks after I left and moved to Naboo, the Empire destroyed my home…”

Luke stared at her sadly. He knew what it was like to loose your parents. It was a pain that never went away. “I’m so sorry.” He leaned forward and took her hand in his gently. “I lost my parents too. I know it’s got to be hard.” He talked to her softly. “But know that what you are doing is good. And even if you disagreed, I’m sure your parents loved you.” The small man tried to be as comforting as he could. He wished he could be more help.

Thena nodded, “ I hope they did…” She continued with a small sad expression, “They would usually care more about my siblings than me… They would ignore me most of the time and when I spoke out- they would just argue with me… ” She then looked at Luke and let him take her hand, “But I did love them… I honored their wishes… And when they told me to go, I obeyed as what a child should do…”

She then realized that they needed to prepare their mission and so she squeezed his hand as a friendly gesture and to her hand away from him. “I think we should get ready for our mission…”

It saddened Luke to hear how she was treated. How could anyone treat someone so nice so terribly? But she was right, they did need to get moving. “Yes, we better get going. I’ll meet you at the ship in an hour.” He stood up and offered her a kind smile. “It was nice to meet you Thena, Im happy to have you as my mission partner.” Luke began to walk away, the. Stopped and turned to her. “You’re parents were crazy for treating you that way. You’re worth so much more than that…” He stared at her for a second, before turning back around and heading to his room.

Thena blushed a deep red, no one told her anything nice to her before. When Luke left, she was smiling like an idiot. She knew that she had a huge crush on him and this made her feel like a lovesick teenager. Hours after they first met, Thena was making her way to the Rebel star-ship and found Luke.

When she saw him, she jogged her way towards him making her long black hair bounce with her movement. She smiled at him, “Hey, I thought I had to go on a hunt to find you.”

While he was packing, All Luke could think about was her. Her laugh, her smile, her eyes, just everything about her. She was beautiful inside and out. He was already so smitten with her that it made him feel dazed. Maybe, after this mission, she would agree to dinner, or a walk. He didn’t really care, as long as he was with her.

The young Jedi waited by ship for her, finalizing some plans. When he saw her, a smile broke out across his face. The way her hair moved was like in a dream. He had to snap out of it quick or else he was going to make a complete fool of himself, again. “I’ve been here the whole time.” He chuckled.

Thena laughed, “Of course, the most obvious place I should’ve looked.” After she spoke, she led Luke to the ship. When they got to the ship, Thena set her bags and blasters in the ship compartments. “I think I packed a whole kitchen sink” She said with a joking tone in her voice.Then, all of a sudden, a small droid came in. It rolled on four weeks and was shaped like a box. It was about a meter tall and was colored with blue and green. Thena smiled at the droid, “Hey N4, I didn’t know you were coming.”

< Well I heard that you we’re on a mission with Luke Skywalker! So I had to come… > The droid whistled

“Really? You only came for Luke Skywalker?” Thena laughed at the droid. N4 replied, <What? He’s the best Jedi in the galaxy!>

Luke followed her on and started to put away his stuff. He smiled upon hearing a droid, he’s always had a soft spot for them. Overhearing there conversation, he grinned at N4’s praise and turned to them. “Well I am pretty great.” He smirked. “You are too kind N4, though I’ve heard that I’m also the most handsome Jedi in the galaxy.” Luke pushed his hair back dramatically.

Thena chuckled as she started up the ship, “I bet all the women in the galaxy are swooning over you, Luke.” Well, at least Thena was swooning over him. She had to admit, Luke’s personality was the best. She was really happy that she was going on a mission with someone who’s nice, thoughtful, caring, and humorous towards her.

Thena then cut N4 off, “That’s because it’s a secret to the galaxy…”

She then sat in the pilot seat and looked at Luke, “Are you ready?”

Luke finished putting away his stuff. He smiled at her response, shaking his head. “N-not really.” The women on Tatooine never paid him any attention, since he was one of the only humans there. Even now he didn’t get that much attention. Everyone wanted to know him because he was a Jedi, not for his personality.

Walking up to the cockpit, he stopped suddenly. “Y-you fly?” He tilted his head at her. “You don’t have to if you don’t want to, I’m a pretty good pilot. Possibly the best in the galaxy.” He smirked.

Thena raised an eyebrow with a smirk, “Well, I was the best Nabooian starfighter of all Naboo, Mr. Skywalker” She continued with a chuckle, “Don’t worry, I can fly the ship to Naboo.” After she spoke, N4 rolled in and whistled to her, < Are you sure you were the best Nabooian starfighter? >

Thena rolled her eyes at the droid, “Okay, I’m the second best… Vic Debbrin was the best, but he was a very cocky, hot headed, know it all…” She sighed, “I hated that guy…”

She then flew the ship out of the base and made it out into the space. She looked at the stars and smiled, “ Every time I see the stars, everything pauses just for one second…”

Luke realized he was kinda being a jerk again and backed off. He didn’t want to piss off the girl he liked. Sitting in the copilot seat, Luke just sat back and watched her. She really does know what she’s doing. He listened to her and nodded. “Pilots can be assholes… Not you! Of course! But.. Um… Yeah.” Luke decided it would be best if he just shut up.

“I remember the first time I went into space… I was so amazed. I’m still amazed.” He sighed softly.

“ I am too…” After Thena looked at the stars, she snapped back into reality and looked at N4, “Hey N4, can you set the coordinates to Naboo?” N4 whistled a yes and went to the computer in the back of the ship. When Thena started to get ready for lightspeed, she looked at Luke, “Have you been to Naboo before?”

She continued, “ If you haven’t, maybe after the mission, I can show you around Theed… It’s very beautiful, even the lakes are breath taking.”

Then N4 came back, < We’re ready to go to Naboo, Commander Rishek >

Then Thena punched it into lightspeed, “We should be there in about forty-five minutes or so…”

He took one last glance into the far off space, then turned his gaze to her. “Only for missions, not for fun.” He shrugged. Oh how he wished he could travel and see the universe. But the rebellion came first.

“I would love to do that.” He smiled brightly. The Jedi wonders if that would count as a date, but quickly he snapped his attention back to the matter at hand. “Sounds good, make sure to be discreet as we near the planet, don’t want to let them know we are arriving.”

“Don’t worry, I have this ship on a cloaking device” She replied, “No one is going to recognize the ship.” She then sat back and relaxed, it has been a long time that she rested from one mission to another. She hoped that one day that she wouldn’t have to take anymore missions and just be at peace… Maybe start a family one day…

“After we finally put an end to the Empire, what are your plans for the future?” She asked him. She wondered if he would rebuilt the Jedi Order and maybe start a new era of warriors.

Hearing her answer made him relaxing back into his seat, letting out a calming sigh. It’s been so long since he felt this close to peaceful. Maybe it had to do with the women sitting next to him.

“Oh… Um…” He chewed his lip deep in thought. All he’s known was farm life and rebellion life. That’s it. “Is it sad that.. I have no idea? Right now my end goal is peace. For myself, I just want to be happy.. And not alone.” He explained softly.

Thena nodded, “Me too… I don’t want to be alone…” She then laughed at her thought of the future, “After this is all over, I plan to retire from the Rebellion and settle down… Maybe find a nice home on the lakes of Naboo or even Yavin4, probably start a farm, but most importantly: start a family…”

N4 then rolled next to Thena and chirped, “Commander Rishek, we arrived to the Nabooian system.” Thena then stopped the ship and found themselves in the Nabooian system, “Home again, home again… Hopefully the Imperials didn’t ruin my home, I’ll be so pissed… Again…”

Luke listened to her with a dreamy expression. The future was something he didn’t think about very much, it was always the here and now. “Oh force, you do NOT want a farm. Trust me.” He chuckled. Maybe he would train the future Jedi..

He was snapped out of his thoughts by N4 quickly and sat up, ready for action. “I hope so too, I’m tired of seeing them destroy the Galaxy.” Luke sighed.

He smirked at her last comment. “I couldn’t imagine you angry. You seem too kind for that.”

Thena laughed, “ Trust me- when someone pisses me off, I become an angry rancor.” She continued, “ One time someone insulted my friend when I was in Corellia at this cantina... I punched him in the vocal cords- I was surprised that he didn’t die... But I defiantly ruined his voice box...”

She then flew the ship at the old abandoned docking bay that hasn’t been used in over a hundred years. This bay should be safe, “It hasn’t been used over a century.” After she landed the star-ship, she got up from her seat and started to pack for the mission, “I’m going to bring not only weapons, but the medic bag... You don’t know when any of us gets hurt.”

“After we finally put an end to the Empire, what are your plans for the future?” She asked him. She wondered if he would rebuilt the Jedi Order and maybe start a new era of warriors.

Hearing her answer made him relaxing back into his seat, letting out a calming sigh. It’s been so long since he felt this close to peaceful. Maybe it had to do with the women sitting next to him.

Thena nodded, “Me too... I don’t want to be alone...” She then laughed at her thought of the future, “After this is all over, I plan to retire from the Rebellion and settle down... Maybe find a nice home on the lakes of Naboo or even Yavin4, probably start a farm, but most importantly: start a family...”

N4 then rolled next to Thena and chirped, “Commander Rishek, we arrived to the Nabooian system.” Thena then stopped the ship and found themselves in the Nabooian system, “Home again, home again... Hopefully the Imperials didn’t ruin my home, I’ll be so pissed... Again...”

“H-hello there.” Luke said to her quickly, blushing like mad.

“I’m Luke. Leia’s brother.” He offered his hand out to her shyly. “What brings you to the base? If you don’t mind me asking.” Luke decided to take a try at conversation.

She then raised an eyebrow and gave a playful smile, “Where do we start?”

She then got up, and kept smirking, “Do you want to continue training?” She then gave him a hand, “Or do you want to start with the blasters?”

“Um.. Anyway. Yeah! That’d be great.” Luke smiled at her and nodded towards a sitting area. “Let’s sit over there.” He lead her over and sat down. “So um.. What do you want to know?”

She then realized that they needed to prepare their mission and so she squeezed his hand as a friendly gesture and to her hand away from him. “I think we should get ready for our mission…”

When she saw him, she jogged her way towards him making her long black hair bounce with her movement. She smiled at him, “Hey, I thought I had to go on a hunt to find you.”

< Well I heard that you we’re on a mission with Luke Skywalker! So I had to come… > The droid whistled

“Really? You only came for Luke Skywalker?” Thena laughed at the droid. N4 replied, <What? He’s the best Jedi in the galaxy!>

Thena then cut N4 off, “That’s because it’s a secret to the galaxy…”

She then sat in the pilot seat and looked at Luke, “Are you ready?”

Thena rolled her eyes at the droid, “Okay, I’m the second best… Vic Debbrin was the best, but he was a very cocky, hot headed, know it all…” She sighed, “I hated that guy…”

She then flew the ship out of the base and made it out into the space. She looked at the stars and smiled, “ Every time I see the stars, everything pauses just for one second…”

“I remember the first time I went into space… I was so amazed. I’m still amazed.” He sighed softly.

She continued, “ If you haven’t, maybe after the mission, I can show you around Theed… It’s very beautiful, even the lakes are breath taking.”

Then N4 came back, < We’re ready to go to Naboo, Commander Rishek >

Then Thena punched it into lightspeed, “We should be there in about forty-five minutes or so…”
