【the world ends with you】
Noah had yet to see her, still facing the now empty and pristine shelves. “I’m going to turn around. Do not panic or attack me.” Noah sighed, and then rotated. Against his will, the boy grinned and grinned. It was maddening, but he hated his actual smile and the potential of getting infected blood in his mouth more. “It’s for protection. When cutting zombie throats, blood is the last thing you want in your mouth. I’ve seen it happen.” And it was dreadful. Bloody and horrific, like the rest of reality. "Tragic. I’ve long since learned to disregard friends and obligations, especially once everything hit the fan. I piled all my furniture against a door, and didn’t let anyone in. Didn’t feel the heat of the sun for three months, whittling my way through whatever food I had or took from those who tried to break down my defenses. Good to know you’re fine, because I sure as hell am not. A mess up here." The boy tapped his skull, left of his tinted glasses. Behind the darkness of the two circles, Noah surveyed ‘Mikasa’ carefully, before making a final evaluation. "…Noah… That’s my name. Some called me ‘Grin’ or ‘Nomad,’ but you can guess for yourself where titles like that came from. Despite the, er, ferocious look, I can assure you I’m much kinder than I let on. I don’t walk around gunning down civilians, and I don’t sit in the hills, blowing people in half with high-powered rounds. This is a defense mechanism, like and knife or sword." Noah barely broke verbal stride, only turning the other way to skewer a curious walker, coming to rest at the wrong place for a moment. "Autodidact. Survivor. Soldier. Scavenger. The whole deal. And with that, seeya later." He turned again, allowing her to leave whenever she pleased. Blinking, he noticed a small coin on the shelf. Curious, Noah inspected it carefully. 2014. What a time long ago, he thought, turning the coin over in his dirty hands, dull nails reflecting no light. He was almost entirely grey, aside from nearly white skin and searing ice-like irises that chilled everyone to the bone. Quickly, while time allowed, he opened his pack again and took a sip from an old water bottle, right next to an appetizing Coca Cola- to be saved. He replaced the cap as his parched throat was temporarily spared, and reached further. An SR-2 Veresk sub-machine gun, only for the direst of circumstances. To avoid drawing any further attention to the hidden metal beast, Noah shut the pack again, righting it on his shoulders once more. The hidden power was exhilarating. And then she spoke again, an offer to form an alliance. “I’ll bite. Besides, knowing someone can have my back is an offer I can’t exactly refuse. Assuming you will keep having my back.”
Mikasa raised a brow at his diatribe. He was rather long winded for someone who at first glance looked like a sociopath. Perhaps all survivors were sociopaths now that they had no choice to kill those they used to know, and didn't know, that came back from the dead. Hoisting her pack higher on her shoulder, she waited for him.
"And I mean what I say," she said after another long while. "Working in pairs wouldn't be detrimental to our survival—if anything it should help it. I have a goal in mind: get back to my group. They'd welcome you with open arms if you survived this long on your own."
A little flattery goes a long way, Mikasa grimaced as she gestured around her. She internally exhaled at his acquiesce, Mikasa didn't know what she would have done if he had rejected her proposal.
"You seem to have been here longer than I have," Mikasa spoke finally after watching him gather rations and other miscellaneous items she didn't bother to keep track of. What he did in his free time was his own business. "I'm quick on my feet and I'm a pretty good fighter. You won't regret this...Noah."
She gave him a half-smile as she looked out the glass doors that were at the front of the market. "Lead the way."

"Don’t go."
"You’re under arrest."
"Just let me die."
"I’m pregnant and it’s yours."
"Make me."
"Kiss me you idiot."
"I didn’t do it."
"That isn’t mine."
"Marry me?"
"Truth hurts, don’t it?"
"Be mine."
"You owe me."
"Just relax."

"State your name and business here." The Marked One demanded. Seemed like everyone was in a hurry to enter The Zone, despite improper equipment.
—She stares at him calmly, though internally questions ricocheted throughout her head as to who, what, where this person is, does and came from. They looked...different. Especially with the mask that covered his face, making him even more of an anomaly.
"I don't answer to you," Mikasa said coolly. "I should ask you the same thing. You don't look to be from around here."

Break the ice; have our muses interact!
This includes not only if our characters haven’t met yet, but even if they already have.
"Are you lost?" 'And you are?” "Who are you?" "I don’t think we’ve met." "How old are you?" "How long have you been there?" "Can I trust you?" "Who do you think you are?" "Are you wearing my clothes…?" "You’re cute." "Would you like to go on a date with me?" "People are watching." "Be Careful!" "Help me!" "I’ve got bad news." "Hate to break it to you.. but ___ is dead." "I will never forgive you." "I’m sorry…" "Why are you so angry?" "Just kill me!" "This is where it ends." "Victory!" "Stay close!" "Watch it!" "Why don’t you hate me?!" "You can’t just give up… not now!"
{drafted open starters. i have a need to do a yandere!Mikasa themed rp, but maybe next time. now off i go to watch anime and draw}
Crying does not indicate that you are weak. Since birth, it has always been a sign that you are alive.

【the world ends with you】
Life was great. Wonderful. The end had been such a blessing! The wicked and awful had died, unable to sustain themselves in a much harsher life. But those who were the perfect blend of smart and horrible were alive, mixing among the dead and doing their work for them. Noah had stayed quiet, holed up with weapons he needed until the gunfire outside had ceased. And then he began his play in the world’s final game of chess. The teenager slipped from shadow to shadow, avoiding every possibility of human contact he could. He knew the fates of those who were cursed enough to meet someone with both a mind and a rifle with a handful of malice or a bone to pick. Red. So he kept to himself, with no existing alliances to hold him down. All ties had been cut long ago, but some strings trailed the child. Shreds of humanity were left, he’d silently pass food to the needy he passed. But anything further than that was left untouched- he’d nod at them and commit their look to memory, but no more. The boy couldn’t save someone with half of their head missing, not in this day and age. Noah approached a walker with bent knees, and struck like a cobra. One hand clamped around its throat, yanking it back and downwards in a sickening arch as its spine snapped, but the horrific thrashing continued. With his left hand, the teenager produced a rusted KA-BAR knife, and drew a crimson smile across the walker’s throat. It fell, soul trapped within its hell freed at last. The teenager glared at a shard of glass embedded in the curb. He wore black glasses, and a faded grey bandanna was knotted around his jaw. Blood was splattered on the stormy color, looking like some sociopath’s impression of a smile. He looked like a criminal or murderer, but those who didn’t approach him stayed far away. Some tried to fight him, only some. But accuracy was his specialty. A quick disgusted shake of the head, before he silently stepped over and through the glass edges of a shattered and burned-out window. Presumably a store of some kind. Pristine black combat boots didn’t so much as squeak, moving cleanly across the contrasting nearly black tile. The place was cramped, too much so for a machete to be wielded. Noah’s preferred weapon was then useless, so he drew a more practical weapon- the shorter KA-BAR, same as before, albeit significantly redder. A footstep. Noah lunged, and tackled a walker from behind, one arm forcing it forward from behind and another held the head forward and down. Before it could hiss, the teenager rammed the monster’s head into the ground, producing a dull and hollow noise not unlike beating a two-by-four against a pipe. It stopped moving. The boy rose yet again, facing a shelf with two items left on it. Two small metal cylinders, only a few millimeters in diameter and roughly two inches long, bound by dog-tag chain. They were horribly rusted, but nothing a good file couldn’t fix. A fire starter. Noah gasped, and grabbed at them, and then the second item. A pack of cigarettes- he didn’t smoke, but they made for good inconspicuous and delayed fire starters and excellent distractions or traps. Few could resist one last pull of their addiction. Grinning, the shadow-like boy slipped the two items into a desert colored backpack, already prepared at his side. Moments later, the pack was righted and Noah was ready to move on. And then a command was spoken, clearly and with no mistake. A few things could be immediately deduced: the speaker was a woman, not too much older than he. She was not afraid to kill him. Noah didn’t turn, knife in one hand and nothing in the other. He knew her seeing the bloody grin across his bandanna would be a death sentence. It was horrifying, even to him. His jaded self. "No, no. Not bitten, although I suppose I have escaped some that were." He mused coolly, choosing his words carefully. Although the words were muffled by the cloth, he was just as clear as she was, they were all quiet, calm, and not at all alarming, considering the circumstance. Noah wanted to survive this encounter. "I’m going to plead the fifth for my name, I don’t really care to reveal that. I came through the broken window at the other end. I can ensure I’m not a threat. Care to tell me the same for yourself?"
Mikasa went down her mental checklist to discern whether or not his word was trust worthy. Articulate; check. Able to speak; check. Ability to reason; check. Mikasa withdrew her weapon, but not putting it away in case the survivor she stumbled upon turned out to be a blood thirsty psychopath with a penchant for killing everything that moved.
"I was separated from my group," Mikasa answered after a pregnant pause. "I was asked to scout, and when I came back our camp was empty, trail cold. They were probably overrun by Walkers."
Mikasa refused to believed they abandoned her. Even if they had, she was used to being alone. Hell, she survived better alone. Now she didn't need to worry about others.
"I came across some Walkers on the east, killed them. Wasn't scratched or bit," she continued, putting the thoughts of her group into the back of her mind. "I'm Mikasa."
If he hasn't attacked yet, he probably won't, Mikasa thought as she tentatively came closer.
"I'll be on my way," Mikasa said after another long moment of silence.
Throwing her pack over her shoulder, Mikasa quickened her gait deeper into the super market. Water and a new shirt where her requirements now.
The store she had entered resembled the many CVS stores that were seen all around the city she had come from. It had a little bit of everything, even cheap shitty clothes that more or less got ruined after being washed once. Coming upon the aisle, Mikasa shuffled through the different shirts before finding a pair of grey men's shirts. Dropping her pack back onto the linoleum floor, Mikasa tugged off her dirtied and torn black tank top, flinging it aside and pulling on the grey shirt then stuffing the spare into her pack.
Making a beeline for the beverages, Mikasa pulled a thirty-six pack of bottled water, tearing apart the plastic and unscrewing her canteen to pour copious amounts of water into the canteen. Once full, Mikasa shoved as much of the water bottles that she could into her duffle. Zipping it up, Mikasa made her way back to where she came from.
From the corner of her eye, Mikasa noticed that they man hadn't moved from where she found him. Torn between having company and the distaste at having a responsibility, she rocked back and forth on her heels before going back to him.
"Hey," stopping feet before him, Mikasa continued. "Night's about to fall, so it's not safe here. Come with me. We can figure shit out on the way."
