For this event, since it's being held at a restaurant, just bring money to help pay for pizza! At least $10 would do!  For the activities we’ll have: Ice Breakerstuck!!: Get to know one another and swap some tumblr urls! Heck, maybe even make a new best friend or two! We won't judge!! Draw Corner: As always, there will be supplies for everyone to draw!

In regards to cosplay, since this is a restaurant please, please don't wear any gray body paint! You're allowed to Humanstuck! or casual! any character but please try to be mindful of the setting you're in!

A Very Christmas Murder Special

When? The date we’re looking at is December 14th Where? Brownsville, more than likely, however this may be an indoors event at the host’s house. Why? To make up for canceling the BanzaiKon panels as well as expand the Valleystuck community.  What? We’re hosting a Dangan Ronpa party! Christmas style!!

Just a quick little thing, nothing is set in stone at the moment, but for sure it will be a Dangan Ronpa themed event! While Valleystuck will stay mostly Homestuck centered, there will be events that are themed after different fandoms. Right now Dangan Ronpa and Marvel are the fandoms we’re going to be exploring. If there is a fandom you would like for us to include, don’t be afraid to suggest it! However, that is just a suggestion and the final decision is left up to the mods of the group.

Monobear's Theatre of Despair (Auditions)

What: A Dangan Ronpa panel! When: Omnicon, August 1-2 2014 Where: Omnicon, Mcallen, Texas

Below the cut is information on how to audition for Monobear's Theatre of Despair, a Dangan Ronpa panel. Please read everything as there is important information!!

The characters you cannot audition for are:

Leon Kuwata

Monobear

Chihiro Fujisaki

Sayaka Maizono

The SHSL Soldier

Mastermind!J??? E???

Any SDR2 characters, including Monomi.

For the most part we're going to stay spoiler - free but I'd still prefer that those who have audition at least have watched the anime or read the full Let's Play of Dangan Ronpa. If you did both and more, fantastic! There will be no characters from Super Dangan Ronpa 2 so I'm not requiring that to have been read.

If you did not get chosen to be part of the panel's main cast, you can still be an understudy or a SHSL Assistant. 

Now onto the fun part!!

The following are questions you have to answer in character. They can be in any order, but you have to answer them to the best of you abilities!

If you had to kill anyone, who would it be?

Who would you say is your best friend?

Explain your SHSL title. What did you do to deserve it?

What's your most prized possession?

If you were an animal, what would you be and why?

Tell me more about yourself.

The following are questions you must answer out of character. This information will remain between myself and the other mods. 

First and last name, plus any nickname you'd prefer to be called by.

Preferred pronouns.

Age?

Skype? Facebook? Tumblr?

What city do you live in? Do you drive?

Why do you think we should choose you for the panel?

Do you have any experiences with acting? Explain. (Panels count)

Would you be interested in helping other panelists with their cosplays? If so, how? (Ex: styling wigs, helping with make up)

Anything else we should be aware of? Such as medical conditions that may limit your movement during the panel?

Now for the audition process there are three ways to go about it!

All three involve emailing us at [email protected]

First method: Send us an audio file of you answering the first set of questions. Also send in a picture of your cosplay. The second set of questions should be answered in text. The title of your email should be: Character Name Audition (Audio) ex: Monobear (Audio)

Second method: Send us a video file of you answering the first set of questions in character. The second set of questions should be answered in text. The title of your email should be: Character Name Audtion (Video) ex: Monobear Audition (Video)

Third method: Audition by skype video call. First you'll have to contact me through skype (georginia.ramos) and we'll have to set up an appointment so the other mods can be present as well. Part of it will be on video and the other part with the rest of the mods will be on just call only. This method isn't preferred, but if it works for you then use it. 

The deadline is: March 14th, 2014

How we will be judging is by a point system. Here are the categories and how many points are available for each:

Acting: 20

Cosplay Quality: 20

Creativity: 20

Voice: 20

Entertainment Value: 20

Totaling off to a possible score of 100.

Maybe some video games or movies? Depending on where we have the event, there may be some chilling out time!

In Regards to BanzaiKon

I believe the matter has been discussed on my personal blog(?) and one Facebook(?), but since there was no official announcement yet, here goes nothing!

I, Georginia Ramos, will not be attending BanzaiKon as well as a number of the Panelstuck panelists. What this means is that Panelstuck and Dangan Ronpa: Murder Mystery as well as any other panels I was planning to run have been cancelled. 

There were a number of reasons behind this and all of the cast apologizes for this outcome. There will be some panelists attending, but either way there will be no panels. 

I ask that no one try and run their own versions of the panels at the convention. I know it may sound selfish, but this is just a simple request and I hope it doesn't cause any offense to people. 

In order to make up for this, we will be having a Christmas event. However, it may be Dangan Ronpa-centered. So look forward to more information on that!

Also, plans for Omnicon have already began! We may be either extending the cast or having two panels to accommodate for the large cast of Homestuck characters!

Basically!! We're a very friendly and open community! We make a bunch of dumb jokes and are just plain dumb. Since we're a small community, we like to make sure that everyone feels part of the group! But either way, yeah we're really just a bunch of dumb babies! Like no, okay, so during one of the past meet ups someone got the great idea to slice pizza with a paper plate, like, one of the thing cheap ones! For those of you attending this year’s Banzai Kon at South Padre Island I gotta a rocking deal for you! If you’re in the Brownsville area and wish to purchase your pass right now for a pretty sweet price, you can purchase them through me. I’m only receiving 10 PASSES each is to be sold for 25$ up until October 27th, after that the price goes up to 30$! (which is still cheaper than at the door). 

I can also hold them for you and we can meet up but just as long as you message me either through tumblr or through skype (georginia.ramos). 

Don’t worry! I’m allowed to sell these passes as I am part of the Banzai Kon staff and have been a staff member since the second Banzai Kon! I run a lot of panels for them and these year I will be running:
