not a caller not a texter but a secret third thing
don’t contact me. ever
"I learned a lot from making this" is artist talk for "making this sucked ass and I'm not entirely happy with the result."
the thing about growing up with siblings in an abusive household is that ultimately you're each other's jail wardens and whipping boys and that does things to you no matter how much you sincerely love each other and understand why it happened the way it did and wish you could have been big and strong enough to save both of you
it's just inevitably going to be difficult to reconcile the love you feel for the other half of a bear trap clamped around both your legs. is the thing.

while I am talking to you about something gay and stupid a mosquito lands on my arm and sucks all my blood out in an instant, swelling to the size of a person as my remains flutter cartoonishly down to the ground, and it continues the conversation where I left off in a high pitched approximation of my voice

Fortune teller machine cards!
Primary colors, the Odyssey, and a marriage gone sour: Jean-Luc Godard’s 1963 film, LE MÉPRIS (Contempt). Probably Brigitte Bardot’s visually most interesting film. She never cared for it however, likening her part later to that of a robot.
Boring postcards.
(Inspired by Martin Parr’s book of the same name.)
