the thing about the claim that "birthday boy" is a slur against trans men is that it is literally only used against men who are awful to women. like if you aren't a complete and utter dickhead you will probably never get called that. i wouldn't consider myself to be some shining beacon of feminism or anything like that (i try! but i certainly fuck up plenty) and I've never been called that a single fucking time in my life
