Hello! I am Vampire Death Kiss! I am also known as Lady Dusk Angel. I am probably best known for writing the Ludwig von Koopa centered story, The Fall of a Crown Prince, and for my Meta Knight x Fem!Galacta Knight one-shots. This blog is mainly for blogging Mario and Kirby stuff, especially M and L stuff, and posting some art of my own. Currently, I am on a Cackletta kick, secondarily other M and L villains, plus the princes.
Thank you for these! As a warning, question number 13 has mention of sensitive topics that may be unsettling for some. It relates to a dark headcanon I have for Cackletta. BE WARNED.
2. Are they physically affectionate?
Antasma LOVES giving and getting hugs.
Cackletta is cold and unaffectionate, only melting for those she is really close to. She is very loving towards her husband and kids, in particular.
6. What’s their preferred method of travel?
Antasma- flying as a bat
Cackletta- riding her rocket powered rocking chair
8. Can they drive? (any vehicle?)
Both can drive a regular car, but Antasma's lack of legs makes it difficult for him to drive a motorcycle or ride a bike. And beware: Cackletta is prone to road rage!
11. Do they hold grudges?
Yes, both of them! Look how petty they are in their games. They are the epitome of grudge holders!
13. What’s their worst emotional injury?
BE WARNED, THERE IS A DARK HEADCANON IN THIS ANSWER!
Cackletta was treated terribly by her father, who viewed her as worthless. She was even raped by him, and became pregnant with her own sibling, which she lost very early on in a miscarriage. To make matters worse, she was promised to a prince (which is why her forehead is pierced, it is similar to how bhindis work in Indian culture) since she is the younger princess, but since she wasn't a virgin, the prince didn't want her anymore. And her father blamed HER for everything! Yeah, all that hurt built up to make Cackletta so bitter. And Fawful betraying her in the Underwhere in her most vulnerable state just added on to the hurt.
As for Antasma, Dreambert calling him a monster in front of the other Pi'illos, knowing Antasma wanted to be free from the nightmares' influence is what hurt him the most.
15. Do they enjoy desserts?
Yessss! Both LOOOVE candy, especially Antasma, who loves sour, tart candies. Cackletta has a love of pastries, and especially loves donuts. Thankfully Starbeans Café sells them now.
16. Are they naturally prone to being nocturnal or diurnal?
Antasma is nocturnal, being a bat.
Cackletta is more diurnal since she is a plant. Genetically though, she is a quarter bat, and likes staying up a bit late at night as well.
19. Are there any animals they avoid or are frightened of?
Cackletta has a fear of spiders, but she keeps it a secret. Her daughter Heealuna has this fear to a MUCH greater extreme.
As for Antasma? I could see him being afraid of dogs.
26. What languages do they speak?
They are both old, and know a LOT of languages.
Antasma can speak Romanian, Hungarian, French, and Russian.
Cackletta can speak Spanish, French, Georgian, and Hindi.
31. Do they wear perfume or cologne? Have they got a signature scent?
Both do! In fact, Cackletta makes her own perfumes. She often wears a rich sweet pea and violet scent and smells very sweet. She will also wear perfumes that smell similar to the Midnight Pomegranate and Black Amethyst scents Bath and Body Works used to have, and the Midnight Fantasy version of Britney Spears's Fantasy perfume.
Antasma wears rich musky, woodsy scents. He also like colognes that have chocolate smells to them.
33. Do they have a temper?
Yes, especially Cackletta. Look at her "Angry Ren" form! She gets very reckless when angry. Antasma is also prone to anger to a lesser extent, but Cackletta angers much quicker. While Antasma is slower to anger, if you strike a nerve in him, he is a force to be reckoned with
36. What’s something they keep around as often as possible?
Cackletta can knit and crochet, and she crocheted a little Fawful amigurumi doll that she keeps with her at all times. She also carries around one of Fawful's old cloaks that she found in their old lair. His smell from it comforts her.
Antasma has a VERY old drawing of him and Dreambert when they were younger. He also keeps a cute little drawing that Heealuna made with the two, a father/daughter drawing 🥰
40. Do they drink? (why/why not?)
Both of them do!
I actually think it is strongly implied in Superstar Saga that Cackletta is a severe drunkard. And I believe that she would drink to suppress her depression and misery. Of course, when she got married and had kids, she cut down on the drinking.
Nowadays, both she and Antasma drink good quality wine with supper meals, and when they spend alone time together. And both of them are particular about their wine. No cheap wine for them!

👍 Which of your fics is your favourite?
My favorite story of mine is Are You Living, or Are You Just Existing? (I really wish I could've finished it, but I was getting out of Kirby at the time 😔), followed by Why Give ME Your Nightmares? (I really loved showing how Cacktasma works in a game concept. It really showed the love dynamic of the two.)
👎 Which of your fics is your least favourite?
Three Wishes in One (I wrote it in school, and Meta Knight acts SO OOC in it), followed by The Dance to Never Forget (the concept is nice, but the execution was horrible)
🎞️ Your favourite genre/trope/tag?
I LOVE romance for the particular ships I love,I LOVE hurt/comfort stories, I am HUGE into the Enemies to Lovers trope particularly what I like about Meta/Fem! Galacta Knight, I love the Found Family trope, and finally, I LOVE to see cold, stoic, and/or ruthless characters soften up their hard shells, ESPECIALLY at the sight of an innocent child. This is what I particularly love about stories with Meta Knight being a father figure to Kirby. I also love to write this with Cackletta being soft to her children, ESPECIALLY Twilheena.
🤢 A genre of fic you’ll absolutely never write (besides the obviously problematic stuff)?
Explicit, pornographic stories, Mpreg, fetish-y stuff, westerns, sci-fi stuff (the last two are boring for me)
💡 Random fic idea?
I am actually currently working on a story where Heealuna is terrorizing Luigi in a nightmare, and spiders (her biggest fear) come raining down on her.
Here is a truly random idea: Luigi gets taken over by his Mr. L persona, and Bowser Jr. thinks it is so cool and starts fanboying hard over Luigi. The story is a comedy that would be called 'I'm Your Fanboy.' I actually came up with this long ago.
😡 Writing pet peeve?
In regards to myself, I tend to know how a story will begin, and how it will end, but I won't know what to put in the middle of a story. This is what hurts me writing multichapter stories.
As for something others do? I don't say this to target people. People are free to write what they want. But I do not understand why it is so common in Kirby fanfiction to write characters as humans. Drawing humanizations is one thing. But it is very off putting when I am reading a story, and a non human character is described with human features. I really don't get it. It isn't my thing at all.

I appreciate any comments I receive, even negative ones. But the best comments I received were on my stories The Fall of a Crown Prince, Tragic Takedown, and one of my most recent stories, Why Give ME Your Nightmares?

As for that last post that I posted with a mature content filter, someone requested me to draw something NSFW. I didn't draw it, don't worry, but my description about certain NSFW situation may not be appropriate for all audiences. Please mutuals and followers, please don't request NSFW stuff. I am very uncomfortable with that. I am an aro/ace Christian woman, and I don't feel right drawing very dirty stuff. A little bit of suggestiveness is one thing. Even certain kinds of joking. But don't ask me to draw characters "doing the act" or doing very naughty things. I won't do it. And if you think that I'm going too far with something, call me out on it! Yes, I DO have dark headcanons about certain characters, including Cackletta and Fawful, but I will not draw or write filthy things!
Can you draw antasma and cackletta have s*x for the first time
I am sorry, but I don't draw pornography. I am fine with requests as long as they aren't NSFW, and this is the epitome of NSFW. Please don't ask me requests like this again. I have never drawn characters having sex, and I never will.
I WILL tell you however, how their first time changed them. Unlike many situations with the "first time," it was good, great even for the bat couple. Antasma knows what he is doing 😏. This situation bonds the couple's hearts together, and Cackletta especially feels a certain attachment to Antasma that she didn't previously. Her heart clings to him, and she ultimately makes herself a lot more vulnerable (let's face it, this act is about as vulnerable as anyone can get physically). Being a cold, distant woman that she is, this especially was the first step that really softened Cackletta's hard shell (which further softened upon giving birth to her two daughters).
Antasma LOVES the vulnerability she gives to him. This act that consummated their marriage really brought them so close together. And yes, they are VERY active in that way. And it is REALLY, REALLY good 😏.
Honestly, how free she feels when she gives herself over to her bat man ❤️💜, especially with the abuse she suffered in time past and the hurt of betrayal 😭.
And in Antasma's case, it is nice to have someone who is willing to completely give herself over to him, considering any time he has done so with someone else, he has been burned 😔.
They are really truly in love ❤️. That is why they are able to use an artifact that grants wishes to those truly in love.
They have got to learn to lock the door when they have sex though. Their poor children have caught them far too many times, which makes things awkward for everyone. Poor tenderhearted Twilheena especially...

what’s the most obscure thing that you know about fawful?
I have 3 things that I guess would fall under obscure?
1. That Alphadream wasn’t planning to bring him back beyond Superstar Saga until they saw how much fans in the west liked him due to the English translation of the game turning him into a comedic character. (This information can be found in a couple of old interviews but I’d have to dig for my source again and I can’t do that atm, my apologies)
2. That he actually does reference Cackletta in three different official translations of his final speech in Bowser’s Inside Story, and it’s not positive:

(This one is ENTIRELY unconfirmed, just a heads up on that bc I won’t pretend otherwise) According to two Japanese fans I’ve spoken to, there was an old interview with some Alphadream staff that referred to Fawful as “balding and past his prime” but if this existed it was in a Japan exclusive magazine and seems to have been lost to time since I’ve never been able to find it 💔💔 but I like the thought, as I personally know Fawful to be older than most would imagine him.
Awaknia the hippie Pi'illo is vegan and a huge animal rights activist. Miranda, the youngest triplet of Ludwig and Rebecca, is also a vegan. Deidra, Wee J and Heealuna's oldest daughter, is a vegetarian.
As kids? Twilheena and Heealuna are both sisters AND best friends. They were sorta secluded from others as their parents were hiding away in Dimble Woods awaiting the day that they get revenge. Post Of Love and Revenge (a game idea), the sisters are able to interact with others outside their family.
As teenagers to adults? They are still close sisters, but I would say Nettarina (Mario and Peach's daughter) becomes Twilheena's best friend, while Twinklesatina (Dreambert and Starlow's daughter) becomes Heealuna's closest friend (even though they are frenemies, and Heealuna would NEVER admit that she was her closest friend).
As for other ocs, Gilbert von Giggleton (a rich Beanish) and Shroobavanni (a nerdy Shroob) are BFFs, while Awaknia (a hippie Pi'illo) and Kamisha Koopa (a magikoopa that hates Bowser. Kamella's daughter) are best friends.
