How to ask for a commission
In an effort to try to distinguish between bots and people who are actually interested in a commission from me, here's my mini guide on how to do that.
In either a comment or DM, fill out this form:
Username: (Where I tag you for the finished piece. This also lets me add a name next to the commission on my to-do list so that I know who it's for) Character Reference: (A clear image, or images, of the character you want me to draw.) Type: (I will work up a complete guide on my types of commissions later today or tomorrow. Basically, how much of the character will be drawn.) Shaded?: (Whether or not the piece will be shaded, which will cost extra. Ignore this in cases of scene commissions, where shading is included in its price.) Specifics: (Describe what you're looking for, including character expressions, poses, setting, time of day, etc. The more detail that's provided, the better chances that I can give you what you want.) Due Date: (Optional, only if you want it by a specific date.)
Wait for me to contact you about payment. If you are a repeat commissioner, this still applies.
Pay in full upfront. For more expensive commissions(say, $150 USD), a payment plan can be worked out, but you will not get the finished piece until payment is fully rendered.
Depending on the commission type and amount of detail, a commission can take anywhere from a few days to two weeks to complete. If you would like it by a particular date, include that in the message. If the date is less than a day(for simpler commissions) or a week(for more detailed/larger commissions), a rush fee will be applied. (I will have a full price list done at some point in the following week.(Maybe.)) Also, to note, I am in college, so my free time is limited. Commissions during college semesters will likely take longer. Keep that in mind if you order from me.
Pay attention to whether or not my commissions are open. If they are closed, you can ask to be added to a wait list. When commissions open again, you will be pinged.
