hi y’all, sorry to post like this on here again; me and my mom were recently kicked out of where we were living and i shared this on here as i was fundraising for us to move and stay housed. we thankfully were able to safely move to a place with a 3yr lease 🙏🙏 but as a result of this situation, we’ve been completely broke and struggling to afford food and medical expenses. my mom has been sick for years and fully reliant on me (it’s just the two of us) and i’ve been struggling with unemployment. she started a new treatment recently and has to go to a few dr appointments this month to get exams done, and getting there is expensive as she can’t go on public transportation + we don’t have a car. i’m asking for help again so i can afford these expenses for this month.

if you come across this post and are able to help out in any capacity, boosting or if you’re able to spare anything. it all helps tremendously! thank you.

hey y’all. i haven’t posted in here in a minute because life has been really hectic. me n my mom are currently being kicked out of the place we just moved into bcs the owner decided to terminate our lease and there’s nothing we can do against that 🫩 my family has been barely getting by with the help of fundraising, we’ve been struggling heavily w/ unemployment, sickness & poverty for years (i am my mom’s caretaker and she’s been struggling to find continued treatment). this situation hit us pretty hard and i’ve been scrambling to find a new place for us to go. i have a new place lined up with a 3yr lease (!!) but we only have until friday (03/07) to pay for the deposit in full and i don’t have enough by myself; we have to be out of here by the weekend so the situation is pretty urgent. it’s $700, but i only have half of it as of right now. i’ve been fundraising for the remaining amount ($350) and that’s why i’m posting this on here. i can offer ficlets (up to ~3k words) or small video edits in exchange for donations of any amount, if you reach out to me via twt!!! any help is hugely appreciated!!! i will leave my ko-fi linked!!

One of the most tragic things about the book that both the show and movie go against, is that after Eleanor’s death, all the other characters continue on with their lives with no mention of her. It feels like a callback to the scene where Eleanor believes Theo and Luke are following and talking about her only to find out they’re not. Dr Montague publishes his book and it fails. Theo returns to her partner and they reconcile. Her sister cares more about the car than she does about Eleanor. Eleanor desperately wanted to be loved and to belong and to have an impact on other lives but when she is unable to have it in life, she seeks for it in death. Yet the novel ends as it begins; whatever walks there walks alone. There is no beauty or satisfaction in her death; it does not allow her belonging or companionship and she does not impact Hill House or its former inhabitants in any meaningful way.

charades night at the pike household with hollanov. but they stop hollanov from playing together bcs it ends in arguments every time and it once made the kids ask if uncle shane and uncle ilya are breaking up :(

so instead shane teams up with hayden and ilya with jackie, because of course hayden and ilya refuse to work together. which backfires extremely fast, mind you, because now ilya & jackie are way too good as a duo and shane is yelling at hayden and hayden is rage quitting
