盐城代表@美乐盐城人 少量过激言论,深表遗憾;
[TRANS] Regarding the previous claims that T-ara “acted high and mighty and refused to appear” misunderstanding, the organiser of the event had requested that we write this apology statement to all the fans who waited at the fan meet venue:
Firstly, we would like to express our most sincere apologies to the fans who waited for T-ara.1. Event organiser:
Yancheng city would like to express regrets and apologies on behalf of @美乐盐城人 for his overboard comments;2.
We have used phrases that suggest that the T-ara members were acting like they are high and mighty, big shots that are arrogant, etc. were words that hurt the fans’ feelings. At that time, we were actually feeling bad for the fans who had waited through the night and for long hours. It was our negligence and mistake for not considering that T-ara had just disembarked from the plane at that time and was exhausted. Furthermore, the delay of the news on our end that resulted in our insensitve remarks that caused inconvenience and displeasure to the fans. We sincerely apologise!Hope all fans will continue to love and support the girls from T-ara.
Banana Project’s statement

[TRANS] Our company has realised that there are ongoing discussions online about our celebrity group, T-ara, and their activity in Yancheng city. There were malicious comments and we are both very shocked and outraged. To protect our celebrity group and fans, our company is currently investigating the matter to verify and understand the detailed situation. Nevertheless, as the official agency responsible for T-ara’s Chinese activities, we would like to express our serious displeasure with the event organiser for not contacting us before inviting our celebrity group over to Yancheng city for the event. As such, we will carry out legal actions to protect the rights and well-being of our celebrity group, and we will investigate the legal obligations of the responsible staff for this incident.

[TRANS] These two days were filled with coincidences.. I attended the “fake” fan meeting yesterday. Later, I told the fans about the truth that I knew and many T-ara fans were moved and thanked me. Actually, I was merely revealing the truth because I didn’t want the fans to be kept in the dark and I didn’t want the organisers to get into trouble either. After putting much effort into explaining, I felt that the organiser’s Weibo should have been under my charge. The one who handled the Weibo ( 微美乐盐城人) and the promotions was just stirring shit and wasting fans’ money. He even fabricated stories about the idol group breaking rules and stuff. Fuck. I really can’t stand this anymore. Fuck, the worst part is that evil person caused Yancheng city to get scolded as well. Right now, who can tell me the head of the fan group or somtehing, I want to tell him or her the some stuff and also the entire truth so that all the fans will know, fuck. I really love my hometown (Yancheng city) a lot so I can’t let some low-life Weibo admin drag us into the mud.

[TRANS] Seeing this Weibo post (Banana Project’s statement)... I’m really.. about to explode! A few more crazy verified Weibo users (those people who are equivalent to social media celebrities) just landed the whole Yancheng city in trouble. They even offended T-ara’s official agency... Alright. A low-life marketing personnel caused the whole Yancheng city to be in trouble, does this even make any sense? That @盐城热门微博 abandoned the main organiser just because they didn’t give you free tickets. Of course, it’d be fine if it’s just one Weibo admin fucker taking the blame. Hehe. But Yancheng’s organiser has this low-life employee @美乐盐城人. Heard that you have serious issues. Just because you don’t feel like working in that company anymore doesn’t mean that you can do what you want as a Weibo admin and land the whole company into trouble. And also about the “fake” fan meeting that no one knew about - you just want to promote your own brand name or something and even said that T-ara was acting like big shots and being arrogant. Why did Yancheng city have such “awesome” people like you all? I feel like I would get hate comments after posting this but T-ara’s fans will protect me. Talking about their fans, I’ve really come to know quite a few fans over the past two days. They are all very awesome people. At the fan meet, I saw them singing at the side and I really felt like joining in the fu but I was too shy. Oh yes, I almost forgot to say this. Actually most of the small little details about this matter were made known to me after contacting another co-organiser from Shanghai. But now, Yancheng city’s organiser has to take the blame just because of a low-life Weibo admin. Alright, I’ll stop here. It’s the first time I feel that words can’t express the amount of displeasure I have.

[TRANS] We are very grateful and thankful to the Chinese media’s support and kindness towards T-ara. But we hope that while conforming to the obligations of the mutual agreements between various media agencies/organisers and T-ara, basic respect is still maintained. To Queen’s, T-ara’s well-being is our top priority and we would not accept any kinds of compromise that will harm T-ara. As long as it is in T-ara’s best interests, we - as fans - will try our best to cooperate and respect. But those comments and posts that are by irresponsible staff, that had undoubtedly caused some misunderstanding or damage to T-ara’s image and well-being, we will fight with you (organisers and such) till the end.
Fandoms are groups of people, so naturally, there will be logical and illogical fans, this can’t be controlled by anyone. But you invited T-ara to Yancheng city for a concert so that you can promote tourism and Yancheng city as a whole, right? It’s not to argue with fans about who is right and wrong? The incident happened, the only thing we can do is to control what we can. As for the drama problem, we try our best to restrain and quieten it down.
As the main organiser, even if you meet some fans who misbehaved themselves, you have to reflect on yourself too - you did not have any preventions or measures in place to make sure that everything goes according to schedule. Therefore, you were at fault too. But you shifted the blame to the fans and even fabricated stories about the idols, don’t think that would solve the problem.
Now that the few verified Weibo users joined in the discussion and confused everyone, quarrelling with the fans, the organiser shouldn’t have tried to push the blame around. The organiser should have quickly stepped forward to talk about the whole matter, take responsibility and listened.
Right now, the matter is in a messy situation. The only way this can be solved is if the organiser is willing to step forward and listen, discuss with the fans to find out the real culprit so that this matter can be solved.
Because if you are willing to step forward, listen, and give a proper explanation to fans, we will think for the best interests of our idols and try to understand. Even if it’s really the Korean side’s fault, at least if you talk to us, discuss with us, we will understand that the Korean side didn’t handle the whole project properly, we will understand.
