When I walk outside on a sunny day,

Clouds engulf the sky, and the blue fades away.

I find myself walking down this narrow path,

Passing all these people who smile and laugh.

I feel one drop, two drops, three drops more.

I look back at that once comfortable door.

My crimson heart now turned black,

My thoughts tell me to never turn back.

Down the path I continue forward,

Not knowing what I’m going toward.

As the rain begins to fall faster,

I look up hoping for an answer.

Life will lead me to many different doors,

But I assume that when it rains, it pours.

so many thoughts and feelings lately. confused and angry but also understanding and desperate to maintain order. i have to work on realizing that some situations are out of my control, and i have to let them figure themselves out.
