if I hear one more fan argue that SMC couldn't have caused the other Beasts' corruption because of their fandomized version of him, I will scream. Shadow Milk literally killed off Eternal Sugar's paradise seekers, which serves no purpose other than furthering her paranoia. That's ntm that Black Sapphire spread rumors about Silent Salt, and we know Sapphy does not do anything that SMC might disapprove of. It is not a stretch in the slightest to say that SMC's rumors had something to do with the fall of Burning Spice Cookie's kingdoms or Mystic Flour's cocoon. Shadow Milk literally has a line about using deceit to crumble empires. This is 100%, perfectly in character for someone who cannot separate his ideals of control from forming relationships with others.
